"Damn it, what's going on?!"
Konohamaru stood on the street, watching as ninjas led large numbers of civilians into underground shelters. Iruka-sensei, not far from him, was urgently evacuating his students.
"Iruka-sensei, what's happening?!" Konohamaru rushed to ask. "Why is everyone going to the shelters?"
"Konohamaru, the Akatsuki organization is attacking Konoha and causing destruction in the village. You all need to hide until we drive them out."
"Hide? I'm the Hokage's grandson, destined to become Hokage! How can I just stand by and watch the village be destroyed?"
Hearing that Konoha was under attack again, a sense of responsibility suddenly surged within Konohamaru. He strode off towards the distance.
"Konohamaru!"
"This kid." Iruka was greatly distressed. After entrusting his students to another ninja, he quickly chased after him.
As Konohamaru ran, he arrived at a shop he often visited.
The shop, usually bustling with activity, had now been reduced to ruins. As Konohamaru ran through the alley, he once again remembered the scene of his grandfather's death.
"I will make up for what Grandpa did wrong," Konohamaru secretly encouraged himself and continued forward.
Boom!
At this moment, a large man in black with red cloud robes leaped from the rooftop, blocking Konohamaru's path. This was Hell Path. After sending many ninjas to their deaths, he chanced upon Konohamaru and decided to try his luck.
"Boy, where is Uzumaki Naruto?!"
"Black clothes, red clouds, Akatsuki! You're the ones who want to capture Big Brother Naruto, aren't you!" Konohamaru's heart turned ice cold. Having courage was one thing, but lacking strength was another. His legs were trembling, but he still shouted.
"Big Brother Naruto… it seems my luck is pretty good." Hell Path reached out to grab Konohamaru. "It doesn't matter if you tell me or not, I'll just hand you over to Human Path."
"Damn it! I'm the grandson of the Third Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen. Don't underestimate me!!!"
Konohamaru roared and gathered a fist-sized Rasengan in his hand, but it exploded before he could even finish it.
"Is that all you've got?"
Hell Path coldly looked at Konohamaru. Someone who knew how to use Rasengan must be very close to Naruto, which further solidified his desire to capture Konohamaru alive.
He slightly raised his leg and kicked Konohamaru in the stomach. The immense force sent Konohamaru flying like a cannonball, breaking through countless obstacles.
Just as Konohamaru came to a shaky stop, Hell Path instantly appeared behind him and struck him with a palm, forcing Konohamaru to his knees. The powerful surge of energy even created a deep pit in the ground.
"Pfft..."
A mouthful of blood gushed out.
"Is this the power of the Akatsuki? I can't do it, my strength is truly insufficient." Konohamaru fell to the ground, his consciousness blurred. He felt like all his bones were misaligned, and he couldn't move. He could only watch as Hell Path walked towards him.
But then, his eyes suddenly caught sight of a blue light shooting straight towards them.
"What is that?"
The blue light grew closer and closer, and finally, with a loud bang, it hit Hell Path. A human figure was vaguely visible within, now stomping on Hell Path, forcing him to retreat repeatedly, leaving two deep gouges in the ground.
The man in the lightning was incredibly fast and agile. As Hell Path finally managed to steady himself, he was met with a spinning kick from behind, sending him flying.
"Is this Pain? Nothing special."
The lightning dissipated, and Sasuke's figure slowly emerged, looking disdainfully at Hell Path opposite him.
Did someone this weak really think they could capture Naruto?
Although he didn't know how strong Naruto had become, as a perfect Jinchuriki, his power was definitely greater than his own.
However, with his brother's help, Sasuke didn't think he was any weaker than Naruto.
"Let's go, this is no place for you," Sasuke said to Konohamaru.
"Are you... Big Brother Naruto's friend?" Konohamaru vaguely remembered the person Naruto wanted to chase after. Seeing him alive, he couldn't help but ask.
"Friend... I suppose."
"Uzumaki Naruto's friend? It seems you know where he is." Hell Path always managed to catch keywords. Without another word, he picked up a long black rod and charged at Sasuke.
"Hm?" Sasuke met his gaze coldly, and a six-pointed star pattern gradually appeared in his eyes. "I'll use you to test the power of these eyes."
...
In a corner of the ruined wall, corpses lay strewn on the ground, each adorned with white paper flowers. A Konoha Ninja leaned limply against the wall. Before him, white paper fragments were closing in, forming a beautiful woman made of paper, but her aura was murderous.
"I'll ask you one last time, where is Uzumaki Naruto?"
"I don't know!" the ninja grit out.
"Then die." Konan's gaze turned sinister as she waved her hand, covering the ninja before her with a massive amount of paper.
"Fire Style: Great Fire Dragon Jutsu!"
Just as she was about to strike, a massive fire dragon suddenly descended from the sky. The scorching flames baked everything, casting the ground in a fiery red hue.
"Paper Shield!"
Konan crossed her arms, and a paper shield instantly materialized before her, completely blocking the fire dragon. However, many of the ruins were scorched beyond recognition.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Konan looked up, but there was no one in the sky. However, she heard the sound of blades slicing through the air.
Konan's expression was calm. Wings suddenly appeared behind her, and with a flap, she ascended into the air. At that moment, the two shuriken that were flying towards her collided with each other, causing one of them to change course and shoot towards Konan again.
"They predicted my movements from the start?" Konan gently flapped her wings and easily batted the shuriken away, beginning to search for her opponent.
"As I thought, my opponent is you, Itachi." Konan flapped her wings, looking down at Itachi like an angel.
"It's been a while," Itachi said calmly.
"How did you survive? Never mind, that's not important anymore. Paper Rain!!"
Konan flapped her wings high into the sky, and countless paper fragments rained down.
...
Meanwhile, Iruka, who had gone out to look for Konohamaru, unfortunately encountered Tendo Pain.
The outcome was as expected. He was completely dominated by Tendo Pain and was now lying on the ground, unable to get up.
"Tell me, where is Uzumaki Naruto! Otherwise, I'll kill you!"
