On Earth, Yuki and Kris had sat down in front of a café shop as it became windy. He had worn a dark gray fur-hooded long coat with the fur being white.
Kris glanced at him as they both take a sip of their coffees in awkward silence.
Kris: So... that Zerathis entity.. it removed immortality from all of existence right? so I'm wondering how come you were able to become immortal through a chalice of Hydor Athanátou..
Yuki glanced at her as it piqued his interest too, causing him to think about it.
Yuki: Well... maybe because I'm a child of two opposite race?
Kris: Possibly..
They both continued drinking their coffees and as they finished, they stood up and walked around as their footsteps are silent, even when wearing boots.
They continued thinking about it as they go around, exploring Earth for a bit.
Yuki: Zerathis removed the concept of immortality right...? What if he only removed the biological variation of immortality...?
Kris glanced at him and tilts her head confused. She then thinks about that idea, though she was still uncertain.
Kris: If so, then that would contradict Zerathis' action of completely removing the idea and concept of immortality.
Yuki started to think hard about it. They both walked next to each other as a festival was going to start happening, leading Kris to hold onto his arm.
Yuki: The Primordial King said my parents were pillars of existence, meaning my dad, due to being a demon, is the Yin side of existence and my mom is the Yang side.
Kris: Yin Yang? You mean the dual foundations of existence? I see...
Yuki nodded as they kept walking somewhere safe.
Yuki: So... biologically, I can't be affected due to my genetics..
Kris: You could be onto something.
They both sees a bench and sits down as the festival happens. Kris yawns then lays on his shoulder as she drifts off to sleep peacefully.
Yuki teleported them both back home and puts her into bed and sits down on a chair, thinking about why he isn't affected by the removal of immortality.
Yuki: The concept of immortality... removed... why am I not affected...?
He sat there for hours and hours on end until the sun risen up. Kris still asleep on the bed as Yuki fell asleep on the chair.
Kris was stirring around, slowly waking up as she notices Yuki had fallen asleep and noticed papers on the table.
Kris: Hm?
She walks over to the table and notices what he had written. It was different layers of immortality and was connecting the dots from Zerathis' capabilities of removing immortality to the chalice of Hydor Athanátou.
Kris: It's all crossed out...
Yuki had slowly waken up as they both looked really disheveled.
Yuki: Yeah... I think I figured it out.. my physiology and genetics, I'm in between demon and angel, and due to that... I'd be a Nephilim...
Kris' eyes widened as she gets ready and dressed. She was surprised about his statement and idea of why he isn't affected by any of Zerathis' abilities.
Kris: A Nephilim?! You're telling me that you, the child of Pricia and Arthur, is a Nephilim!
Yuki: Yeah.. pretty much.. that's the only thing I could think of on why I'm not affected by the immortality removal...
Kris: So what you're saying is... all of Zerathis' abilities are on a conceptual level?
Yuki: Yeah... Nephilim are seen as metaphysical existences... so it technically removed immortality conceptually.
Kris had known Yuki was smart, though his knowledge has extended much further than she expected.
It was unexpecting to Kris. She stood there in silence as Yuki leans back on the chair.
Kris: So most of its abilities won't work on you.. huh?
Yuki: That.. I'm not entirely sure myself, its the origin so you can't.. wait.. that's right.
Kris was uncertain what he's thinking about, though she have some ideas.
Yuki: I understand it completely... I need to test something..
In Heaven, Samuel had magically broke the soul binding between him and Zerathis as he sat there. His phone rings and glanced down seeing it was Yuki. He answered with a calm tone.
Samuel: Hey, Yuki.
Yuki: Answer me this... are you still immortal...?
It was a random question to Samuel. He sat there in silence.
Samuel: Yeah, why?
Yuki: I see...
He immediately hang up with no reply as he sighs in deep relief. Samuel glanced at his phone and tucked it away.
Yuki: immortality, the concept itself was erased from all existence, but those who were always immortal stays immortal.
Kris: So....?
Yuki: Hybrids like me who aren't bounded by the laws can achieve immortality regardless of what Zerathis did...
Kris' eyes widened, realizing the truth. This was the only time she sees Yuki finally happy, but also it was surprising to her that he figured it just from one thing. The Hydor Athanátou, chalice of immortality.
Kris: I see now!
Yuki nodded as he stretched and stood up. Kris glanced at him with a curious look on her expression.
Kris: Where you going?
Yuki: I'm going to get us coffee
He walked over to the door and opened it up to see someone standing out in front.
They stood and stared at each other in the eyes in awkward silence. This silence had gone on for five minutes.
Kris: What's goi—
She says as she ends while glancing at the person in front.
Kris: It's a girl...?
She tilts her head in confusion as Yuki stares them down.
Aster: Hey Yuki, I heard about you! My name is Aster Solis, pleasure to meet you!
Yuki: Hm...?
Aster: I'm here to help you both, is that hard to figure out?
Kris and Yuki sighed as they gestured Aster to come in. As they sat down together, Aster sat across from them at the table.
Aster: I have information on Zerathis. You may know that its abilities are concept-based right?
Yuki: Yeah...?
Aster: Everyone says its unbeatable, while in reality it isn't, yeah its the origin of existence and everything can collapse, sure, but you can prevent it from happening.
Kris listened in as she sat there in silence, taking notes. Yuki and Kris were uncertain about Aster's statement.
Kris shot a glance at Aster, and her memories was slowly flooding back. That was when she started to recognize Aster familiarity, but couldn't remember where.
Aster: It may be the origin, but if one manipulates the very idea and its ideology through their existence, then there.
Kris: Where do I know you from?
Yuki glanced at both Kris and Aster, tilting his head in confusion. Aster smiled and chuckled lightly.
Aster: One of the most powerful sages, obviously.
Kris: Most powerful sages huh...?
She murmured as she scrolled through her brain. Her eyes slowly widened in surprise.
In silence she sat there as Yuki glanced at them both in confusion. Aster smiled in joy and happiness, though his aura was unknown. His extremely feminine look was such a distraction, that it had caught Kris off guard.
Kris: But... you're dead. Ten million years ago. You're not supposed to be alive.
Yuki: What are you talking about Kris?
Kris shot a glance at Yuki as her eyes stayed widened.
Kris: Aster Solis—known as the First God—is also one of the Outer Guardians and the Strongest Outer Guardians.
Aster smirked confidently as he stood there, hands on hips as Yuki was unsure. He hadn't heard much about the Outer Guardians that isn't from Kris' documents.
Aster: There were many false things about certain beings that is spread that tends to cause belief in these said statements, and yes I'm also speaking to you readers and the writer who's writing my lines, it quite has an effect on people which tends to seem contradictory.
Both Yuki and Kris had listened in closely as Aster spoke with certainty.
Aster: You see, everything happens because it's what EVERYONE think will happen. Like their imagination is the physical embodiment while the idea is the metaphysical embodiment of what the TRUTH they think it is. We can take the author for an example. Despite writing all lines and the entire world, even he understands little to nothing about the truth about the world.
Yuki: The hell do you mean?
Aster: I mean the author is forgetful as hell. He forgets what happened in the past as he creates further chapters of our damn lives, though that sometimes doesn't end well.
He quickly shoots a glance at something that he could only see as Yuki glances at Kris and looks back at him with uncertainty and confusion.
Yuki: What are you looking at....?
Aster: Anyways, I'm just saying, the author—quite literally—is pretty forgetful and even forgot the entire lore of his novel (which we are apart in). Back on the topic though, Zerathis is beatable, just too damn hard to kill.
Reality shifted, cracks formed in the world, then it happened. Everything immediately collapsed.
Zerathis' presence was now sensed by only Aster, while it is invisible to the others.
