Chapter 251 - Chapter 251: Blitzing the Ministry of Magic (Part 1)

"But we cannot stand by and watch our students put themselves in danger, Miss Amanda."

Professor Flitwick looked up at Amanda. The fury on Amanda's face subsided for a brief moment. "This doesn't count as putting myself in danger, Professor Flitwick."

"The Ministry of Magic is not worthy, and neither is Voldemort."

Shaking her head with a mix of anger and detachment, Amanda walked directly past the three Professors toward Ravenclaw Tower.

The three Professors exchanged glances. Professor Sprout looked worriedly at Amanda's retreating figure. "Minerva, Filius, are we really not going to follow her?"

Looking at Amanda's determined figure and considering the abilities she had displayed so far, Professor McGonagall smiled with relief and shook her head.

"No, Pomona. Children must grow up eventually."

"That day has arrived. Let them forge their own path. We will do as Amanda said: find Albus and have him hurry to the Ministry of Magic."

Passing through several spiral staircases, Amanda stopped when she reached Ravenclaw Tower.

The staircase leading up to Ravenclaw Tower was already packed with seventh-year students from all the Houses.

Amanda, who had met every Young Wizard in Hogwarts through this year's Dumbledore's Army activities, was certain that all the seventh-year Young Wizards from all four Houses were present.

Everyone came? This was truly unexpected... Logically, whether analyzing from a cautious perspective or a human nature perspective, a portion of them should have chosen not to come for the sake of their own safety and to avoid trouble.

At the front of the crowd, Hermione stepped forward and leaned toward Amanda's ear. "As soon as I mentioned this in the common rooms, all the seventh-year students showed up. Lots of students from other years wanted to come too."

"I had to repeat several times that you only needed the seventh-year students to stop them."

"Mm." Amanda pursed her lips, her gaze sweeping over Harry and Ron, who were also standing at the front of the crowd.

Harry met Amanda's gaze and nodded solemnly.

"Senior Cho Chang is also my friend, so it's only right that I go. Besides, I want to see what that thing is in the Ministry of Magic that Voldemort wants."

Ron added without hesitation, "Where Harry and you guys are, I'll be there too. I will never abandon my friends."

"No matter what we have to face."

After hearing Harry and Ron speak, Amanda subconsciously shifted her gaze to the seventh-year students who filled the entire staircase.

Senior Penelope was among them, currently rubbing her wand with icy eyes.

"I won't hide anything from anyone."

Although Amanda was furious, her words were steady and powerful. "Umbridge, of the Fudge faction, ambushed Senior Marietta to try and catch me. She was hit by four Stupefy spells."

"Four Stupefy spells!"

"Umbridge ambushed her!"

"That cow, how dare she!" After hearing Amanda's words, the crowd erupted in an uproar. The Ravenclaw Eagles were livid, and Harry actually swore out loud.

"I have already killed Umbridge."

Amanda's next sentence successfully silenced everyone present for a moment.

After a moment passed, "Good riddance!"

"Junior Lin Yue did an excellent job!"

Cheers and applause erupted on the staircase. Far from being scared, the Young Wizards loudly praised Amanda.

"After this incident, I realized I was wrong. Against people like Fudge and Umbridge, we should be tough, we must be tough. We must use Charms to make them realize their mistakes. Against them, Charms are more effective than any strategy!"

Amanda looked at all her classmates, her powerful voice echoing on the staircase near the entrance of Ravenclaw Tower.

"This time, we are going to destroy the Fudge faction within the Ministry of Magic. This means you might have to kill people. I know this might be difficult for you to accept. If anyone wants to leave, I completely understand, and even if you do leave,"

"You will still be everyone's friend, and you will still be my Seniors."

"I would rather see you leave than see you force yourselves."

Amanda paused, waiting for someone to leave, but the seventh-year Young Wizards stood firmly in place. Not a single person showed any desire to move.

"We are all adults now, Junior Lin Yue," a Gryffindor Senior responded loudly to Amanda. "Since we are adults, and we are destined to fight Voldemort and the Death Eaters in the future, we should be mentally prepared for this. We can't let ourselves fall too far behind you, our Junior."

Hearing his words, the other seventh-year Young Wizards present nodded in agreement.

After two seconds of silence, Amanda spoke again. "Also, you must have all heard the conversation Harry and I just had. There is something in the Ministry of Magic that Voldemort wants."

"And our move to eliminate the Fudge faction at the Ministry of Magic this time will inevitably cause overall chaos in the Ministry. Voldemort and the Death Eaters will definitely seize this opportunity."

"So tonight, or early tomorrow morning, we might encounter Death Eaters, and we might encounter Voldemort."

"I will deal with Voldemort, and I will take the lead in handling the Death Eaters, but I cannot guarantee that everyone won't face Death Eaters directly."

The seventh-year Young Wizards from the four Houses uniformly gripped their wands. While a sense of apprehension arose in their hearts, the high fighting spirit they had previously felt did not dissipate; instead, it grew stronger.

If they were already going to attack the Ministry of Magic, what were Death Eaters? Amanda was leading them, so if Death Eaters came, they would just treat it as fighting a few more people.

"If any of you still wish to leave, I truly understand completely."

Amanda scanned everyone one last time. After confirming that no one intended to leave, she bowed seriously to the seventh-year Young Wizards.

"Thank you."

The seventh-year Young Wizards looked at each other. Those standing in the front row quickly rushed over and helped Amanda up, gesturing that she didn't need to do that.

"Now, please check that you are all wearing your protective badges."

While everyone was checking, Amanda turned to look at Hermione beside her.

Hermione had just confirmed the protective badge was on her chest. Sensing Amanda's gaze, she looked up.

She raised an eyebrow and spoke with some authority, "You didn't stop Harry and Ron, so don't even think about stopping me. I am definitely going."

"I never intended to stop you, Hermione," Amanda shook her head frankly. "I just wanted to say, don't be soft-hearted, and don't hold back."

"And," Amanda gave Hermione a profound look before turning back to face everyone, "prepare to take office as the new Minister for Magic this summer."

After seeing everyone confirm their protective badges, Amanda stepped forward, recalling the location of the Ministry of Magic in the Y Country Muggle World, which she had specifically observed and calculated.

Taking out a roll of gauze she always kept in her wizard robe pocket, she lightly waved the wand in her hand. The gauze instantly transformed into a directional portkey that pinpointed the Ministry of Magic's location.

Unrolling the gauze, Amanda instructed everyone on the staircase to hold onto it, while her gaze lingered on Luna, Neville, and Ginny, who were hidden among the crowd.

"Luna, Neville, Ginny, stop hiding, the three of you."

Amanda had actually noticed the three of them from the start, but explaining the situation to the seventh-year students was more pressing at the time, so she hadn't pointed them out.

"Oh, Senior Lin Yue, don't do this. If Ron and the others can go, so can we."

Ginny wailed softly. Ron turned his head in disbelief to look into the crowd, genuinely surprised to find his sister was also here.

At the same time, Penelope gave Luna a look of disapproval, and Luna blinked her dreamy eyes in response.

"No," Amanda shook her head. "I wasn't suggesting you go back. There's something else I need your help with."

Ginny, Neville, and Luna exchanged glances before stepping out of the crowd.

Amanda pulled a pair of tweezers from her wizard robe pocket, lightly waved her wand, and turned it into a directional portkey leading to The Daily Prophet headquarters.

Handing the tweezers to Ginny, Amanda looked at the three of them. "This portkey leads to The Daily Prophet headquarters. I need everything that happens tonight to be published in all the newspapers tomorrow morning. I also need them to send reporters to the Ministry of Magic for interviews tomorrow morning."

"It's not enough for only the Wizarding World Gazette to cover this. So I need you to go and ensure The Daily Prophet will do this, and that they will do it well."

"If anyone tries to stop you," a bold expression gradually appeared on Amanda's face, "then teach them a harsh lesson and send them packing home."

Although The Daily Prophet had previously expressed their stance to her, it was better to have someone monitor them.

A flash of excitement crossed Ginny's heart as she tightened her grip on the tweezers. "We will, Senior Lin Yue."

"Good. I'm counting on you."

Having given her instructions, Amanda stepped forward, gripping the top end of the gauze. "Everyone, let's go."

As soon as she finished speaking, Ginny and the other two felt a momentary blur before their eyes. The next moment, the seventh-year Seniors, along with Amanda, Hermione, Harry, and Ron, all vanished from the spot.

"Let's go too." Luna said in her dreamy voice, reaching out and gripping Ginny and Neville's wrists, connecting the three of them.

"Go." Ginny nodded. The next moment, the three of them vanished from the spot together.

When a large group of people appeared out of thin air on the main street, the Muggles enjoying the nightlife on the street above the Ministry of Magic were stunned.

They rubbed their eyes in disbelief, highly suspicious that they had imagined it or seen wrongly.

Wait, can people just appear out of thin air?

Amanda released the gauze and nodded politely to the stunned Muggles. "We apologize for interrupting your nightlife. We have some matters to attend to."

"Therefore, please enter the nearest buildings for temporary shelter."

The Muggles looked at each other in confusion. Suddenly, young people in strange clothing appeared, and now a girl who looked no older than fifteen or sixteen was telling them to hide in buildings.

Should they... call the police?

Raising her wand high toward the sky, Amanda's voice was loud and strong. "Protective Charm! Safe Garrison!"

Two massive protective spells instantly enveloped the surrounding three city blocks.

Amanda precisely controlled her magic output, ensuring the magic covered all the houses within the three blocks, guaranteeing they would not be affected by the upcoming fight.

She did not want to and would not involve any ordinary citizens. At the same time, she did not prohibit Apparition here, as she still needed Fudge and Voldemort's people to arrive.

However, they could Apparate in, but leaving would be impossible.

The observing Muggles hadn't originally intended to obey, but they watched with their own eyes as Amanda released beams of magic and saw a large dome-like object envelop the sky.

Faced with this unknown phenomenon, they instinctively followed Amanda's instructions and hid inside the surrounding buildings.

Confirming there were no more Muggles on the street, Amanda waved her hand, signaling the surrounding Young Wizards. "Everyone spread out. I'm going to dig up the Ministry of Magic first."

Dig up the Ministry of Magic?!

Hearing Amanda say this, the Young Wizards, including Hermione and her two companions, immediately ran off, forming a huge perimeter covering the entire block.

Extending her hand toward the ground, the virtual blueprint of the Ministry of Magic that Amanda had constructed during her last visit appeared in her mind. According to the blueprint, the area of the Ministry of Magic covered by this road within this block included the Ministry Atrium and the few floors beneath it—that was enough.

As Amanda's hand slowly clenched, the Levitation Charm was cast.

Crack... boom... Sounds of the ground shattering echoed. The Aurors left on duty inside the Ministry of Magic looked up in confusion, and the Death Eaters hiding nearby revealed themselves, looking toward the center of the street.

"Come out."

Amanda casually raised her right hand. With a tremendous crash, three groups—the Muggles, the Aurors left on duty at the Ministry, and the hidden Death Eaters—all stared dumbfounded as the ground was torn open into a deep pit, revealing the Ministry of Magic buried deep beneath the earth.

Ceiling after ceiling was peeled away, and Amanda directly exposed the entire Ministry of Magic.

"Oh my God!" The Muggles hiding in the surrounding buildings covered their mouths in terror, looking at Amanda with eyes that seemed to doubt if she was still human.

Even more people stared blankly at the exposed Ministry of Magic. "Is this... one of our secret departments?"

"Without a single whisper of warning."

The Aurors left inside the Ministry of Magic looked at the suddenly vanished ceiling and floor, then looked at themselves standing in mid-air with a drop of over ten meters below, and were so "sad" they were almost crying.

Why did it have to be their turn to be on duty today... Why did Miss Amanda from Hogwarts come directly to demolish the Ministry of Magic... Was it still too late for them to admit that they truly supported Amanda?

Using the Levitation Charm to send the Aurors to the surrounding ground that she hadn't destroyed, Amanda scanned each of their faces. After confirming that none of them were members of the Fudge faction mentioned in the information Senior Platt had given her, she nodded at them.

"Send a message to the rest of the Ministry personnel and tell them to come here."

Out of the corner of her eye, she looked at the shadows of a nearby building. She had noticed the two Death Eaters there long ago, and Amanda had been watching them closely to prevent them from harming ordinary citizens during the chaos.

The two Death Eaters were currently suppressing the urge to flee, constantly sending messages to Voldemort and more Death Eaters.

At the same time, they looked fearfully at Amanda, above whom large chunks of "road debris" were floating. They couldn't help but feel that this girl was far more dangerous than they, the Death Eaters, were.
