The idea of using an aqualung was rejected, so Harry racked his brains and came up with an even more whimsical method.
"I'll go learn to be an Animagus and see if I can turn into an aquatic creature?"
Amanda's mouth twitched slightly, and she rejected his idea again in a flat, emotionless voice, "Learning to be an Animagus involves many factors and therefore takes a very long time. You don't even have enough time to practice using an aqualung, let alone master being an Animagus."
"Besides, an Animagus form is usually the same as one's Patronus form," Hermione said, holding Amanda's arm and looking at Harry with equal helplessness, "Harry, your Animagus form would most likely be a stag."
"Alright," Harry sighed, "I was just saying."
"What about partial Transfiguration?" Cho Chang asked hesitantly, "I mean human Transfiguration, not the kind where you change your whole body like an Animagus, just changing half, like turning your head into a fish head?"
"Human Transfiguration can only be learned in the higher grades," Amanda shook her head, her gaze lingering on Harry for a moment before she continued, "Even if Harry started learning now, his accumulated knowledge and magic power would not be enough to sustain him through such a long period of human Transfiguration."
"That means the Bubble-Head Charm is the same; Harry won't be able to use it either."
Marietta Eckmore shrugged, directly ruling out another option.
"It's clear what kind of method Harry can choose now," Penelope looked at Harry and pursed her lips, "The only methods Harry can choose are those that don't require advanced Charms, don't consume magic, and preferably don't require long periods of practice without relying on Harry himself."
"Merlin's beard," Marietta Eckmore smacked her lips, "Is there really such a method? A Potion or herb?"
Amanda raised an eyebrow at her. Her senior always managed to say the crucial thing.
Hidden within the knowledge of herbs were indeed options that could help Harry.
"Hiss... Marietta Eckmore, now that you mention it," Penelope lowered her eyes and reached up to rub her brow, "I vaguely remember seeing a book in the Hogwarts Library that seemed to mention a type of herb that could make a person grow gills to breathe underwater, and even grow webbed feet."
"What was that herb called..." Penelope racked her brains. She had read that book for leisure, so it was already quite good that she could vaguely remember the content, but she really hadn't memorized the specific names of some herbs.
Herbs weren't her strongest subject, after all.
As for the books in the Hogwarts Library that Penelope didn't quite remember, the other five people present naturally turned their gazes toward Amanda, who definitely remembered every book, every page, and every word in the Hogwarts Library, and could be called a human Library.
Feeling the gazes of Hermione and the others beside her, Amanda blinked. After confirming that Senior Penelope couldn't recall it, she spoke slowly and mechanically.
"The herb Senior Penelope mentioned is called gillyweed. It allows a person to grow fish gills to breathe underwater and grow webbed feet and hands to speed up swimming. It is indeed a very good choice for Harry to go into the Black Lake."
Listening to Amanda's words, a brilliant smile appeared on Harry's face. That's great! He had a way to clear another task in the competition.
"Thank you for your help, Amanda, and thank you, Senior Penelope, thank you everyone."
He stood up and nodded to each of the girls present; he was still very clear about the situations he encountered.
If it weren't for Amanda, and the Ravenclaw students gathered because of her, the pressure from all the things he had encountered since his first year would absolutely, absolutely have more than doubled.
Even now, with the Triwizard Tournament he had to face, he would have to bear all the pressure himself.
But now, with Amanda and their help, he wouldn't say he had no burden, but at least he didn't have much of one.
He only needed to be responsible for charging into some less dangerous "battlefields," and he didn't have to worry at all about the rest, such as battle plans and pre-battle preparations.
"I'll write to the Owl Post Office as soon as I get back and ask them to buy the gillyweed for me."
The more Harry thought about it, the brighter his smile became. He was smiling while speaking at this moment.
Looking at the smile on his face, an urge to smile also welled up in Amanda's heart, but in the end, no expression was revealed. She nodded indifferently.
"Remember to buy more, so that if the effect of one gillyweed is about to wear off while you are underwater, you can eat another one."
Analyzing Harry's personality and the content of the second task she knew about, Amanda didn't think Harry would leave directly after saving his own "hostage." If he did that, he wouldn't be Harry Potter.
Using Harry's personality traits as a criterion for judgment, there was almost a less than one percent chance that he would leave after saving his hostage; this possibility could be directly ignored.
In other words, he would definitely wait until the end, ensuring the safety of all hostages before leaving, and even if other contestants encountered any accidents along the way and were unable to save their own hostages, Harry would very likely save their hostages as well.
This would undoubtedly require a lot of time, and that was why Amanda specifically reminded Harry to buy more gillyweed to be prepared for any emergency.
"Okay, I will." Harry nodded vigorously to show he understood, while secretly deciding in his heart to buy eight or ten for backup. Even if he couldn't use them all this time, such a magical herb might be useful in the future.
The discussion by the Black Lake came to an end, and Harry and Ron parted ways with Amanda and the other four girls, returning to their respective dormitories to rest.
Looking at the sky, which was still bright with the sun outside, Amanda decided to take advantage of the remaining time to completely finish the plan she wanted to complete.
If she started getting busy now, she would probably be done around midnight tonight, and after returning, she could still get the six hours of sleep Hermione required at the normal time.
"Going out again?" Hermione saw Amanda tying her scarf and putting on gloves out of the corner of her eye, so she put down her book, walked to her, and reached out to take the ends of the scarf, gently tying it for her.
"Amanda, are you going out? Leaving Hogwarts?"
Cho Chang and Marietta Eckmore heard this and also got up from their respective beds and walked over.
"Yes, I'm going to visit those Pure-blood families."
"Visit those Pure-blood families? Haven't their heads already been caught by you? Why are you going there?"
Marietta Eckmore frowned in confusion. Could it be that without their heads, the people of those Pure-blood families could still jump around?
Cho Chang looked at Amanda's face thoughtfully; she felt she could vaguely understand what Amanda wanted to do.
Hermione, however, smiled knowingly. After tying the scarf for Amanda, she smiled and said, "You're going to persuade them not to defect to Voldemort anymore and leave them some protection, right?"
Hearing Hermione's words, Marietta Eckmore suddenly realized, and Cho Chang also straightened out her thoughts, looking at Amanda gently.
Fights were fights, but when it was time to win them over and protect them, she didn't hesitate. This was the Amanda they, Ravenclaw, supported; she was so much better than that madman Voldemort.
Ptooey, ptooey, ptooey... Why did she compare Amanda to that good-for-nothing madman Voldemort? Her brain really must have short-circuited.
"Thank you, Hermione. Yes," Amanda looked down at the scarf Hermione had tied for her and said thank you softly, "I captured those heads of the Pure-blood families mainly because they openly tortured Muggles for fun, which made Hermione and everyone very angry, and I couldn't accept it either."
"At the same time, the reason is also to ensure they don't have the chance to defect to Voldemort after he is resurrected."
"Locking them all up cuts off their path to defecting to Voldemort."
"But doing this is very likely to bring serious consequences to their families. Voldemort will take his anger out on them and force their families to work for him."
"I must prevent this possibility. This doesn't align with my own code of conduct, nor would it align with Hermione's and everyone else's."
Amanda looked around at Hermione and the two seniors, and all three of them nodded in approval.
The ones who committed more sins and evil deeds were the heads of those Pure-blood families; their families were not as guilty. So if they had to watch them die... they would also feel some reluctance.
"Go ahead," Cho Chang nodded and patted Amanda's shoulder encouragingly, "But if you encounter those die-hards who won't listen to anything you say and even speak ill of you, don't wrong yourself. In the East, there is a saying: 'You can't persuade a ghost who is destined to die with kind words.'"
"That's right," Marietta Eckmore nodded in agreement beside Cho Chang, following her opinion, "For those who are determined to follow Voldemort regardless of everything, Amanda, you don't need to persuade them. Wait until we kill Voldemort and see what they do."
"That's right, the most important thing is, don't wrong yourself."
Hermione also held Amanda's face and said, word by word, seriously.
She was afraid that Amanda, because of her kindness, would try to persuade them more, and then get scolded by the remaining people of those Pure-blood families. Even if it was just a verbal loss, it was still a loss!
"Hmm, don't worry, I will absolutely not wrong myself."
Amanda nodded solemnly and made a promise.
"That's good. Go quickly, come back quickly. If you come back late and miss dinner, remember to go to the kitchen and ask for a portion yourself."
"Never mind, I'll bring some back for you from dinner, you can just come back and eat."
Hermione instructed gently, and Amanda nodded obediently.
After listening to Hermione's instructions, Amanda opened the window, waved to her and the two seniors, and her feet left the windowsill, floating out into the air.
After leaving the range of Hogwarts, she landed slowly in an open space, raised her left hand, and said politely.
"I know that both seniors are awake. I have something I would like to ask you for help with, and I hope you can show yourselves."
As soon as Amanda's voice fell, Rowena and Helga, who had been looking forward to seeing her, appeared instantly.
"Oh my, little Amanda has really grown a lot, changing every day."
Rowena hugged Amanda with a grin and rubbed her hair vigorously.
Amanda felt no rejection at all being held in her arms; instead, a feeling of relaxation and peace filled her heart. She closed her eyes contentedly, gently sniffing the sweet scent in Rowena's arms.
"Alright, alright, look at what you've done to the child's hair."
Helga slapped Rowena's hand, not knowing whether to laugh or cry, signaling her not to treat the child as a toy.
"However," she bent down with a smile on her face, looking Amanda, who was not yet as tall as her, in the eye, "You calling us two seniors is too distant."
"Call us something nice," Helga pinched Amanda's cheek happily, "If you call us something nice, we will definitely help you."
In fact, whether Amanda called them that or changed how she addressed them, they would help her anyway. Helga saying this now was just to guide Amanda to change herself.
Amanda blinked twice, her brain pondering what Helga wanted her to call her. However, the clues she had at this stage were too few, and she couldn't figure it out at all.
In the end, following the impulse she had once had in her heart, she looked at Helga and Rowena and said softly.
"Mom..."
Looking at each other with surprise, the two ladies reached out at the same time to pull Amanda into their arms, patting her back gently, "Good child."
"Yes, just call us Mom." Helga smiled gently and accepted Amanda's address.
"From now on, we are your moms, your two moms."
Rowena stroked Amanda's cheek affectionately, "From now on, with us here, no one will be able to bully you again."
The two mothers looked at Amanda full of love and doting, their hearts full of protectiveness, completely forgetting that with Amanda's current magical strength, she was actually not inferior to the two of them at all.
In the current Wizarding World, there was no one left who could "bully" her.
"So, does our good daughter want us to help persuade those Pure-blood families?"
Rowena raised an eyebrow, seeing through her daughter's thoughts at a glance.
"Yes," Amanda nodded affirmatively, "Although my strength is obvious to all the Pure-blood families, they may not be willing to listen to a child like me."
Her meticulous brain analyzed the behavior of the Pure-blood families so far and the personality traits of each person. If she went alone, the success rate of pure persuasion wouldn't be high.
But if she added the two mothers... the success rate would be much higher.
"Hmph," Helga snorted coldly, frowning with dissatisfaction, "Our daughter personally went to persuade them and help them survive, and they are still not satisfied."
"What do they have to be dissatisfied about?" In Helga's view, as soon as Amanda spoke, those Pure-blood families should agree to break away from Voldemort; that was the right thing to do.
No, they shouldn't even wait for Amanda to speak. Between their good daughter and that good-for-nothing idiot Voldemort, didn't those Pure-blood families have any sense of who to choose?
"Don't worry," Rowena smiled and smoothed Amanda's hair, "We will help you persuade them."
If they couldn't persuade them, then they would just have to drag out Salazar, who hadn't fully recovered yet, beat him up, and then let him manage the descendants of his students~
