The golden flames surrounding Pansy slowly extinguished along with the golden sparks in Amanda's eyes.
The Slytherin Little Snakes, holding their wands and facing off against the Little Eagles, tentatively stepped forward, wanting to rescue Pansy.
The vigilant Little Eagles stepped forward in unison, sparks even flying from their wands.
For a moment, the Slytherins all froze in place, none of them daring to step forward.
Hagrid watched the scene before him in a fluster; he turned to The Ravenclaws and said somewhat incoherently.
"You, you all calm down first, let them take Miss Parkinson away, or I can take her to the Hospital Wing."
One of the Little Eagles glanced in Pansy's direction; seeing she had no obvious external injuries and was only soaked in sweat, they waved their wand and cast a spell.
"Rennervate!"
The spell hit Pansy, who was lying on the ground; having already fainted, she suddenly opened her eyes and looked around, still somewhat dazed.
"She's fine."
The Little Eagles held their wands, watching the Slytherins vigilantly, clearly refusing their attempt to step forward.
"Oh, then I'll take Miss Parkinson to the Hospital Wing."
Hagrid walked forward cautiously and picked Pansy up.
Having regained her senses, Pansy's face turned green when she saw it was Hagrid holding her.
Merlin knows she truly despised this big guy! Who knows what kind of bloodline he has.
Maybe he grew so big because he has Giant blood!
The Little Eagles silently watched Hagrid carry Pansy away without stopping him; as a Professor, it was normal for Hagrid to take a student to the Hospital Wing, and they wouldn't prevent it.
Hagrid looked hesitantly at the Slytherins and the other three houses, who were still pointing their wands at each other.
He really should take Pansy to the Hospital Wing, but once he left, who knew if the conflict would escalate further.
"Hagrid, you take Miss Parkinson to the Hospital Wing first."
An old, gentle voice sounded, and Headmaster Dumbledore walked over slowly.
"Headmaster Dumbledore," Hagrid breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing him, "This isn't The Ravenclaws' fault, nor is it Amanda's."
"I know, Hagrid. You go ahead."
Headmaster Dumbledore nodded, signaling Hagrid to take Pansy to the Hospital Wing first.
"Alright," Hagrid agreed, turning to carry Pansy toward Hogwarts Castle.
"alright, children, put down your wands now."
Headmaster Dumbledore walked into the middle of the crowd and gestured with both hands.
The Ravenclaws' wands tilted down slightly, but they still didn't put them down completely, instead looking back toward Amanda.
Hermione bit her lip, only then slowly releasing her hand that was covering Amanda's eyes.
"Everyone is waiting for your word on whether to let them put down their wands."
After saying this, she stepped aside, her own wand still gripped tightly.
Amanda's indifferent gaze swept over the students of Slytherin House, and she nodded slowly.
"Everyone, put down your wands."
With Amanda's word, The Ravenclaws finally lowered their wands completely, and the Hufflepuffs also moved away from behind the Slytherins.
The surrounding Gryffindors also relaxed, taking a collective step back.
The Little Snakes gritted their teeth; they didn't want to put down their wands at all.
Their housemate, a noble Pure-blood families Young Wizard, Pansy Parkinson, had been harmed right in front of them, and they wanted the person responsible to pay the price!
But Headmaster Dumbledore was here, or rather, even if he wasn't, they couldn't beat Amanda, or even those Ravenclaws who excelled in Charms.
"Everyone, put down your wands."
Headmaster Dumbledore turned to the Slytherin Little Snakes, his voice serious.
The Little Snakes looked at Headmaster Dumbledore unwillingly, but could only lower their wands bit by bit.
They had no intention of admitting any fault; the possibility of them retaliating against Hermione and everyone else was extremely high.
A conclusion instantly formed in Amanda's mind; without the slightest hesitation, she raised her wand high toward the sky.
Boom! Boom! Boom!... Streaks of golden fire shot from the tip of Amanda's wand, spreading out immediately upon hitting the sky, as if the sky were gradually being set ablaze.
Within a few short seconds, the sky over Hogwarts had already been "ignited" by the golden flames.
"The sky is burning!"
In Hogwarts Castle, a Young Wizard in Transfiguration class saw this and cried out, pointing out the window.
The Young Wizards in the classroom and Professor McGonagall all turned to look out the window and were immediately shocked by the scene before them.
"Merlin... what kind of magic is this?" Professor McGonagall took off her glasses and walked to the window, her face full of astonishment.
At the same time, in the Charms Class, Professor Flitwick also heard the students' cries; he turned to look and was equally stunned.
This magic... he actually didn't know what it was.
Penelope, who was in class, looked at the golden sky burning normally outside; while surprised, a strange feeling arose in her heart.
She felt that this matter must be related to a certain person.
And that person was currently just outside Hogwarts, on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, attending Care of Magical Creatures class.
"Amanda!" x3
Although in different classrooms, she, Cho Chang, and Marietta Eckmore Edgecombe all cried out at the same time.
Without even waiting to ask the Professor, the three of them drew their wands and rushed out of their respective classrooms.
The Ravenclaws in class with them exchanged looks and unhesitatingly drew their wands to follow.
When it came to their Ravenclaw darling, the lesson could wait.
As for leaving the classroom without permission, the Professor docking points, or criticizing them afterward, they accepted it all.
But they had to confirm Amanda's condition now.
Amanda, who they were worried about, still held her wand high, while the Little Snakes standing opposite her had turned completely pale.
Looking at the sky burning with golden fire with terrified expressions, even those from Pure-blood families had never seen magic of such power and scale.
In their view, the most terrifying spells were nothing more than the Three Unforgivable Curses, but why did they feel now... that the magic Amanda was using was even more terrifying than the Three Unforgivable Curses?
The sky burned fiercely, and the scorching air soon enveloped the entire Hogwarts area.
However, Hermione and the others from the three houses standing beside Amanda did not feel this heat.
Only the Little Snakes felt as if they were in a Giant furnace.
Headmaster Dumbledore looked up at the surging golden flames in the sky and sighed deeply.
Brilliant, exceptionally gifted—that was the only way he could describe Amanda.
This child was definitely equal to, if not greater than, himself, that person from back then, and Tom.
"Ignite the sky," Amanda said in a mechanical voice.
Boom! The golden flames in the sky suddenly expanded with a loud roar, causing every living thing in the Hogwarts area to tremble simultaneously.
The Ravenclaws and Professors who had just run out of the Castle also stopped in their tracks, staring blankly at Amanda, whose figure was faintly visible at the edge of the Forbidden Forest.
"Merlin's floral trousers..." Cho Chang marveled, looking at the endless golden flames in the sky.
"Amanda really... knows how to create surprises."
Marietta Eckmore murmured softly beside her, while the Professors who had rushed out stood still, looking at the sky.
None of them spoke at this moment; facing such magic, it seemed that whatever they did would be too insignificant.
"Scorch the earth."
Amanda's tone remained calm as she pointed her wand down toward the ground.
Rumble!
The golden flames in the sky began to spin rapidly, forming pillars of fire that surged downward; countless cylindrical flames rushed toward the ground.
The ground temperature instantly soared; before the golden flames even reached them, the Slytherin Little Snakes were already experiencing difficulty breathing.
The water in the Black Lake began to evaporate rapidly, and the Magical Creatures in the Forbidden Forest grew restless, seemingly wanting to flee.
But their shivering bodies didn't allow them to do so.
They could only freeze in place, letting fear envelop their entire bodies.
With a light flick of her wand, the cylinders of golden fire stopped their downward plunge.
They continued to spin in the sky, leaving no doubt that if they hit the ground...
They would incinerate everything they touched, and before that, all living creatures would be roasted to charcoal by the heat they brought.
"Miss Amanda, please stay calm."
Headmaster Dumbledore drew his wand, looking at the sky with a grave expression; even he didn't know how to deal with this spell for a moment.
Clearly, this wasn't any known spell written in books; the most likely possibility was that it was a spell Amanda had created herself, one of terrifying power.
He could even feel that the range of this spell could be expanded—to a city, or even a wider area.
Amanda's eyes were filled with dead silence and cold sternness. "I am very calm, Headmaster Dumbledore."
As she spoke, she glanced at Hermione; she knew Hermione didn't want her to kill, so she wouldn't.
She should do as Hermione said: respect life and cherish it, whether her own or others'.
Looking back at the Slytherin Little Snakes, Amanda spoke with an unchanging expression.
"I have no intention of killing you; you don't need to be afraid anymore."
The monotonous voice made the Slytherin Little Snakes tremble.
This made them realize even more that she wasn't sparing them for any other reason.
It was purely because she didn't want to, just because she didn't want to.
The Professors and more students who had just arrived were also stunned.
With such a huge commotion outside Hogwarts Castle, they naturally had no mind for lessons.
Almost everyone had run out of Hogwarts Castle to the edge of the Forbidden Forest, watching what was happening.
Professor Snape's face was grim as his gaze swept over the Slytherin third-year students being watched by Amanda.
Slytherin shrewdness, assessing the situation—they really hadn't learned a thing, had they? Only blood purity theory?
With a cold snort, his gaze moved to the Slytherins of other years; seeing their expressions were also filled with anger and jealousy, he frowned deeply.
A look of frustration at their failure appeared on his hollow face; even he, as a Professor, knew it was time for change, yet these students were still so arrogant and unable to read the situation.
If Salazar Slytherin himself knew of this, who knows how disappointed and angry he would be at their lack of progress.
"You posed a threat to Hermione and my friends; you harmed them with your words."
Amanda said in a dull, mechanical voice, "So I must take necessary action against you."
"According to my analysis, seventy-five percent of your lack of composure today is due to your family's business not going well."
Then she spoke the reason bluntly without any hesitation, "I did indeed lead that, but it was because your families instructed Rita Skeeter to slander Hermione, Headmaster Dumbledore, and everyone in Ravenclaw."
Amanda didn't even mention being slandered herself, only stating the fact that others had been slandered.
"That's why we launched a necessary counterattack. At the same time, the Pure-blood families of the Wizarding World have controlled the Wizarding World for too long."
"You occupy at least ninety percent of the resources in today's Wizarding World, yet you still discriminate against and persecute Wizards from Muggle families, half-blood Wizards, and other Magical Creatures."
"This behavior must stop," Amanda continued, still without emotion or inflection, yet people could clearly hear the difference in her tone. "Today's events are a good warning."
"I have the power to destroy you, I really do."
Amanda tilted her head, looking at the Slytherin third-year students with a face devoid of emotion.
"And, destroying you, destroying the Pure-blood families, is the fastest and most effective way to promote a better future for the Wizarding World."
"But because of Hermione, because of my friends and Professors, I will not do so."
Amanda paused, "I will wait for you to make changes—change your blood purity theory, change your idea of controlling the Wizarding World with an iron fist."
"However, my time and patience are limited. Please do not make me wait too long."
Having finished, she raised the wand in her hand and gave it a casual flick; the golden flames filling the sky began to gradually disappear.
The pillars of fire also began to disintegrate and dissipate into the air, and the scorching air suddenly became cool and fresh.
The Slytherins, who had been tensed up, finally relaxed completely, and the animals in the Forbidden Forest resumed their activities.
The first thing they did upon resuming activity was to run as far away from Hogwarts as possible.
Seeing Amanda lift the magic, Professor Snape walked forward with a grim face and said to the third-year Slytherins in a drawling voice.
"Now, say nothing, keep your mouths shut, and follow me."
After saying that, he ignored whatever reaction these third-year Slytherins might have and turned to walk straight toward Hogwarts Castle.
His billowing black robes behind him seemed to reflect his current mood.
