Chapter 77 - Shopping with the prince and Valerius heirs

Julian and Caelum were leaning against the stone pillars of the boutique, looking like they had been there for hours. 

Julian's golden hair caught the last of the sun, and he stood with his arms crossed, while Caelum remained still, his eyes fixed on the street.

They looked like they were waiting for something, obviously.

​As we drew closer, the air grew heavy. Maegel's grip on my waist tightened, his body heat rising as he recognized the two men. The royal guards slowed their pace, sensing the sudden tension between the Prince and the two Lords.

​Julian was the first to move. He pushed himself off the pillar and stepped forward, inclining his head in a deep, practiced bow that looked respectful enough, even if his eyes remained sharp. Caelum followed suit, his bow perfectly timed and stiff.
