The underground chamber was spacious and spotless, with polished concrete walls and a high ceiling. Several monitors lined one side of the chamber, their soft glow spreading across the wide, open space.
A man stood in front of a large wall covered with maps, photographs, and handwritten notes. Names from different kingdoms filled the pages, with dates, locations, and small marks connecting people who appeared to have nothing in common.
