Chapter 276 - Chapter 276: Are you sure you don’t want to occupy Haiyuan City?

Not long after, Theresa led everyone to the Saint Freya helipad.

This mission didn't require that many people.

So, it was just the people from their dormitory.

Eight people in total.

Therefore, they weren't taking the Hyperion this time either.

After waiting for a while at the helipad.

An unmarked small warship slowly descended while deactivating its stealth camouflage.

After the hatch opened, they saw Dr. Einstein.

"You're here, are you all ready?" Einstein said calmly.

"Yes, these are all the people we have," Theresa nodded.

Einstein fell silent for a moment after hearing that. Eight people, three S-rank and five A-rank. She would believe it if they said they were going to raid Haiyuan City.

"Doesn't Saint Freya need to be guarded?" Einstein asked with a slight sigh.

"Guarded?" Theresa shook her head, "The other Valkyrie squads here at Saint Freya can handle daily tasks."

"Won't there be any special circumstances?" Einstein continued to hint.

"Special circumstances? I've already told Durandal that if our mission encounters special circumstances, I'll ask her for help," Theresa, thinking Einstein was referring to the issues in Haiyuan City, said without thinking.

"No, I'm talking about Saint Freya," Einstein directly interrupted Theresa, who was about to continue speaking.

"Alright, Doctor, Saint Freya will be fine. We're just trying to make the operation more secure, there's no ill intent," Himeko placed her hand directly on Theresa's head, preventing her from speaking further.

"Okay, in that case, all of you come aboard," After saying that, Einstein stepped aside, allowing them all to board the warship.

After boarding the warship, Elysia looked at Einstein, who was operating the warship, and directly sat in the co-pilot's seat.

There was only Einstein on this entire warship.

"Dr. Einstein, you don't need to worry, we have no ill intentions," Elysia said with a smile.

"If there's no ill intent, may I ask if you could release control of the warship?" Einstein said, looking at Elysia, who had placed her hand on the joystick.

"We're just trying to be safer. The Sea of Quanta is still too dangerous," Elysia adjusted her seat and leaned back. As for the warship's controls, Elysia had only just glanced at the warship's data.

"You've used the Second Divine Key, haven't you?" Einstein asked with some curiosity. They still knew too little about the Sea of Quanta's data.

"It's not really 'used,' I just got played by Otto," Elysia said casually.

But the information in that sentence made Einstein even more cautious of Elysia.

For someone whom Otto personally went out of his way to play a trick on, and who emerged unharmed, what position did Elysia hold in Otto's eyes?

Otto didn't seem to care much about their Anti-Entropy, letting them develop freely.

"Is that so, Miss Elysia, what kind of person do you think Otto is?" Einstein turned her head to look at Elysia. Now, she was filled with curiosity about Elysia.

"Otto? Hmm..." Elysia thought for a moment, then said, "I don't know how to describe him, but if this world were without Otto, it might fall into great chaos."

"Is that so, Miss Elysia, you have a very high opinion of Otto," Einstein nodded.

"A high opinion? Doctor, you need to know one thing: the greed in people's hearts is very terrifying," Elysia also turned her head to look into Einstein's eyes.

"Doctor, you are immersed in research, so perhaps your understanding of human nature isn't that deep."

"Understanding human nature?" Einstein shook her head, "We understand what you're saying, but we cannot forgive Otto."

"Undoubtedly, if this world were without Otto, people from various countries would all research the power of Honkai, and then Honkai events would occur everywhere in the world," Einstein said calmly.

"We know all of this," After speaking, Einstein leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes.

"Is that so," Elysia bit her lip. Was she being a bit arrogant?

"Doctor, Welt, did he not tell you why he chose to remain in the Sea of Quanta?" After a while, Elysia still decided to reveal what she knew.

After all, hiding Kevin's existence at this point might lead to greater losses.

Without waiting for Einstein to answer, Elysia continued.

"Within the Sea of Quanta, a Previous Era pioneer is trapped."

"A Previous Era pioneer?!" Einstein immediately sat up straight, "Where did you get this information?"

"I got it from the usage records of the Second Divine Key, and furthermore, that pioneer is the strongest one from the Previous Era," Elysia said with a wry smile.

"Since he's a pioneer, why would the leader choose to trap him instead of rescuing him?" A look of confusion appeared on Einstein's calm face.

"What exactly did the leader discover...?" Einstein frowned in thought.

"Well, that's because Kevin wants to change all the humans in the world into another form of existence to survive and overcome Honkai," Elysia didn't mention the Stigmata Project, because explaining the Stigmata Project now would only lead to more questions from Einstein.

So, it was better to just state the consequences of the Stigmata Project's execution.

"In that case, then I know why the leader would stop him," Einstein said with a wry smile.

After all, Welt carried the lives of three hundred thousand people on his back.

"Actually, as for why Welt stopped Kevin, and the reasons behind it, I'm not very clear. I don't even know where Welt got the details of Kevin's plan," Elysia said softly.

All of this involved many coincidences.

Like Haiyuan City, this Previous Era ruin, did Otto truly not discover it?

"It doesn't matter. The leader's will represents the will of our Anti-Entropy. If the leader chooses to stop that pioneer, we will follow," Einstein did not doubt Elysia's words.

Or rather, even if she had doubts, as long as there was a slight possibility, it had to be taken into account.

The small robot that had been following Einstein floated in front of her.

Looking at the contact person on it, Einstein directly sent the information Elysia had spoken to Tesla.

To make her prepare more thoroughly.

The enemy the leader decided to stop, their current arrangements in Haiyuan City, seemed insufficient.

After a moment of thought, Einstein still contacted Bronya's mother, Cocolia.

As the leader of the radical faction, the power she held, though less than their conservative faction, could not be taken lightly in this matter.

No matter what Cocolia thought, she had to come this time.

While contacting her, Einstein had already decided that if Cocolia refused, then the Titans in Cocolia's hands would cease to exist.

The Titans were something they had researched, and the backdoor program in their system could not be removed.
