Elysia followed Mr. Gray Snake, first taking an elevator to the third basement level.
Then, in a hidden corner, another elevator leading underground was opened.
"Mr. Gray Snake, although I know Heliopos Life Science isn't a legitimate company, there's just too much stuff underground," Elysia said, feeling the various electronic devices around her.
"Miss Elysia, no matter how large a company is, it will have some gray industries. Even Schicksal has countless hidden laboratories," Mr. Gray Snake explained.
"I know that. Leaving aside the hidden laboratories, among the Schicksal laboratories I know of, I haven't seen any built directly in the center of a city like this," Elysia said, shaking her head.
"They just haven't been discovered yet."
"Does Mr. Gray Snake know of any laboratories built in city centers?" Elysia asked with a smile.
Although Schicksal has many laboratories, most of them are built in places that do not affect residents' lives.
Except for some laboratories in Europe, they are all built in remote areas or near Valkyrie branches.
"No, Schicksal's laboratories have very high security clearance," Mr. Gray Snake said after searching his database upon hearing Elysia's question.
Currently, Schicksal's laboratories have indeed not been built in the center of a city.
"So, Schicksal does a very good job in this regard, doesn't it?"
Mr. Gray Snake did not speak again, as he had no way to refute that point.
Soon, the elevator stopped operating.
When the elevator door opened, a dark corridor lay before them.
After passing through the corridor, they could see a throne on a high platform.
Upon reaching the throne, Mr. Gray Snake immediately knelt down.
"My Lord, the person has been brought."
As Mr. Gray Snake's words fell, a projection slowly appeared on the throne.
The white-haired man in the projection looked directly at Elysia.
"An imitation," the white-haired man said after carefully examining Elysia.
"Oh my, Mr. Kevin, I'm not her, am I? So I'm not an imitation, I'm just myself ~♫," Elysia said, smiling and shaking her head.
After all, the Kevin before her was just a projection, not he himself.
If he were truly present, Elysia would not dare to speak like that, or rather, if he were present, Elysia wouldn't even be able to get here.
"You shouldn't imitate her," Kevin said, shaking his head.
"Hmm~ What if I wasn't imitating her at all?" Elysia shook her head.
"After all, this is how I truly am now."
"State your request," Kevin said after a moment of silence.
"Huh? Didn't Mr. Gray Snake tell you? I want to enter the Elysian Realm. I want to see that person with my own eyes," Elysia said, glancing at Mr. Gray Snake.
"My Lord, it was my impromptu decision to bring Miss Elysia directly to you, as this matter requires your direct decision," Mr. Gray Snake said.
"Herrscher, can humanity defeat Honkai!" Kevin said, looking at Elysia.
"What do you think, Mr. Kevin?" Elysia remained smiling.
Looking at that face, Kevin didn't know what he was thinking. If it had been their first meeting, Kevin would have directly crushed the existence that disguised itself as his friend, his comrade.
But in just this short time, Kevin had lowered his guard slightly.
"Humanity will definitely defeat Honkai!" Kevin stated with certainty.
"Yes, humanity will definitely defeat Honkai, won't it?" Elysia said.
"And Mr. Kevin has already directly recognized my identity as a Herrscher, you must have noticed, haven't you? The Herrschers of this era are different from yours ~♫," Elysia said, twirling a strand of her hair.
"No matter what, an existence like me is only possible because of that one, isn't it?" As she spoke, Elysia's hair slowly turned pink, and her pupils also turned pink.
Looking at this familiar appearance.
Kevin suddenly felt a surge of anger; he hadn't had emotional fluctuations in a long time.
"Herrscher, do not defile others," Kevin said, staring intently at Elysia.
"Alright, alright, I won't joke with you anymore, cold cool boy. May I enter the Elysian Realm? I really want to see her," Elysia said, her hair returning to its blue-purple gradient.
Looking at the slight difference, Kevin calmed down again.
"Where did you learn of this matter?"
"Which matter are you referring to?" Elysia asked, tilting her head.
After a while.
"Gray Serpent, take her to the Elysian Realm," Kevin said, and then his projection vanished from the throne.
"Yes, My Lord," Mr. Gray Snake said to the now empty throne.
Then Mr. Gray Snake stood up and turned to look at Elysia.
"Is something wrong, Mr. Gray Snake?" Elysia asked, looking at Mr. Gray Snake staring at her. The mask combined with the red glow made Elysia feel eerie.
"I didn't expect Miss Elysia to be a Herrscher," Mr. Gray Snake said.
"Mm-hmm, none of you asked, did you?" Elysia nodded and said, "And even if you asked, Elysia wouldn't tell you."
"Miss Elysia, please follow me," Mr. Gray Snake said, making a gesture for her to follow, then walked ahead to lead the way for Elysia.
"Are we going to the Elysian Realm now?"
"Yes, Miss Elysia. My Lord has agreed to your entry into the Elysian Realm. Now I will take you to the room for entering the Elysian Realm," Mr. Gray Snake said, pressing a button on the elevator.
"Well, I'm really looking forward to it. I wonder if Elysia will meet another Elysia ~" Elysia said with a smile.
"I wish you can meet the Lord you wish to see," Mr. Gray Snake said.
Then the elevator reached the corresponding floor.
On this floor, there were only a few machines resembling hibernation pods.
"Mr. Gray Snake, do all your branches have devices to enter the Elysian Realm?" Elysia asked with some curiosity.
"Yes, because the Elysian Realm is not only a device to meet the Lord, but also a training device," Mr. Gray Snake said, opening the hatch of a hibernation pod.
"Now, Miss Elysia, you can just lie down inside. Once you lie down, the device will send your consciousness into the Elysian Realm, and the device will also protect your body."
"Mm-hmm, but please wait a moment. Elysia needs to send messages to Theresa and Sister Himeko. Otherwise, they might just dismantle your branch here," Elysia said, taking out her communicator.
But looking at the signal on the communicator, Elysia knew that this place also had signal isolation.
"Miss Elysia, just attach this to your communicator, and you can contact the outside," Mr. Gray Snake said, handing over a device like an antenna.
"Ah, that's a great help. Please wait for Elysia for a moment."
After attaching the antenna to her communicator, Elysia walked aside to contact Theresa and the others.
Although she knew that no matter where she stood, her communication content would be known to Mr. Gray Snake, she still habitually wanted to avoid people.
