I immediately grew tense and said, "Are you okay? Let's go to the hospital later to get checked."
My wife immediately shook her head. "I just sent a WeChat message to Kege. She'll bring me some medicine."
"I'm sorry, Nannan. It's all my fault for making you suffer," I said guiltily.
My wife shot me a glare and muttered softly, "Stinky husband, I told you to be gentle, but you still used so much force. If you do that again next time, I'll never pay attention to you again."
"Don't worry, I promise I won't," I whispered gently in her ear, then kissed her forehead. Our voices were very low, only audible to each other. Liu Wei tactfully held up a newspaper and read it, not disturbing us.
Just then, Tian Xiaomo called me to help her bring out the dishes. I signaled for my wife to stay seated and quickly got up to help.
"How's your wife doing?" Tian Xiaomo asked as soon as I entered the kitchen.
"Sister-in-law, Nannan says it hurts terribly down there. Could something be wrong?" I asked anxiously.
Tian Xiaomo gave me a look of exasperation and said helplessly, "Look at the mess you've made. She's probably bruised. Go buy some ointment to apply when you get back. For now, you need to restrain yourself. Don't touch your wife for a while."
I nodded repeatedly, then said pitifully, "But what if I can't hold back? Can I come find you, Sister-in-law, for a solution?"
"Get lost," Tian Xiaomo said irritably. "I have to go to work and don't have time for you. Besides, I alone can't handle a little rascal like you."
I chuckled awkwardly and stopped teasing her. While helping mix the cold dishes, I said, "Sister-in-law, you must have been exhausted last night too, yet you got up so early to cook. You've worked hard."
"Oh, so now you know how to show concern? Where was that last night?" Tian Xiaomo covered her mouth and laughed. "I'm not as delicate as you think. Hurry up and serve the dishes."
"I'll serve them, but let me show you some concern first, Sister-in-law," I said with a smile.
"How are you going to show concern?" Tian Xiaomo was puzzled.
I suddenly stepped forward, wrapped my arms around Tian Xiaomo's slender waist, lowered my head, and kissed her red lips.
Tian Xiaomo tried to break free, but I wasn't about to give her the chance. I directly used my tongue to pry open her teeth and plunged into her mouth. Tian Xiaomo stopped resisting, reached out to hook her arms around my shoulders, and allowed me to explore her mouth freely.
About thirty seconds later, just as I was getting into the kiss, Tian Xiaomo pushed me away and said irritably, "Enough concern. Serve the dishes."
"Sister-in-law's lips are so fragrant," I chuckled. Seeing that Tian Xiaomo was about to lose her temper, I quickly and obediently started carrying out the dishes.
No one had eaten breakfast, so everyone was starving. In no time, we cleared the entire table of food. After helping Tian Xiaomo clean up the dishes, I got up to say goodbye. We had already agreed earlier that my wife and I would leave on Sunday afternoon, so they didn't try to persuade us to stay.
Tian Xiaomo told Liu Wei to wash the dishes and came out to see us off herself.
My wife was walking awkwardly. Tian Xiaomo thoughtfully supported her all the way to the parking lot.
"Sister-in-law, thank you so much for your hospitality this weekend. Nannan and I had a great time," I said, rolling down the car window to bid Tian Xiaomo farewell.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it. Come visit whenever you have time. Lao Liu and I always welcome you two," Tian Xiaomo said with a smile, waving goodbye.
"As long as you don't mind us, we'll definitely come again," I said politely before starting the car and driving out of the residential complex.
"Nannan, did you have a good time this trip?" I asked my wife on the way.
"Mhm, Brother Liu took very good care of me. I think it was quite enjoyable," my wife nodded.
"Then shall we swap with the Liu Wei couple a few more times in the future?" I suggested.
My wife's face was already flushed with shyness. She lowered her head and whispered, "You can arrange it. I have no objections."
For some reason, seeing my wife agree so readily made me feel a pang of sourness. Clearly, my wife had a very favorable impression of Liu Wei. But upon second thought, I felt relieved. Wasn't I the same? Tian Xiaomo's figure lingered in my mind, unable to fade away.
I have to say, the Liu Wei couple were truly wonderful. They took great care of my wife and me. For our first wife-swapping experience to meet such a couple was a stroke of luck for both of us.

Her voice was so loud the entire complex probably heard it. I quickly looked around and, sure enough, several pedestrians in the complex were staring in our direction.
I hurriedly gestured for her to lower her voice.
Li Ke rushed over to us in a few quick strides, her eyes practically spitting fire. She said to me angrily, "You did something despicable, and now you're afraid I'll shout about it?"
"Aiya, Kege, don't talk nonsense. I'm fine," my wife quickly came to my defense.
Li Ke's anger was hard to quell. She said to my wife, "You asked me to buy this kind of medicine and still say you're fine? Tell me honestly, what exactly did this guy do to you?"
"I'm really fine. Can we go home and talk?" my wife urged.
"You'd better be fine. Come on, let's go upstairs quickly. I'll check you first and apply some medicine. If it's too serious, come to the hospital with me. Don't worry about saving face; your health is important." Li Ke pushed me aside and helped support my wife herself.
I could only stand there awkwardly. I couldn't get a word in edgewise when women were talking, especially since Li Ke looked like she wanted to eat me alive at that moment. I didn't dare speak up lightly.
"Nannan, since Li Ke is here, I'm relieved she'll take care of you. Maybe I won't go upstairs; I'll head straight to Mom's place," I said, thinking quickly to escape the awkward situation.
"Husband, you must be exhausted from yesterday too. Why don't you call Mom and tell her not to go today? Go next week instead," my wife said with concern.
"You know Mom's temper. She's like a living Yama King, always insisting on having her way. If I don't go, there'll be hell to pay. Don't worry, I'll come back as soon as possible," I said.
"What? Trying to flee from your crime?" Li Ke said with a hostile expression.
"Alright then, husband, hurry back soon," my wife said, quickly pulling Li Ke toward home.
But Li Ke wouldn't let it go. As she helped my wife walk back, she turned her head and shouted at me, "I'm going to interrogate your wife first. If you really did bully Nannan, don't even think about coming home tonight."
I felt a slight chill run down my spine. I quickly turned around and fled as if my life depended on it.
This Li Ke was excellent in every way—figure, looks, capability—she was in no way inferior to my wife. It's just that her personality was too fiery; ordinary people really couldn't handle her.
Given her relationship with my wife and her staunch attitude in defending her, if she found out the truth, she'd probably scratch me to death. The scratch she gave me on the top of my foot last time still makes me shudder with fear.
I silently prayed that my wife could smooth things over.
