Chapter 333 - Chapter 333

Lynn arrived above the location of the Death Eaters in the blink of an eye.

The wind whistled in his ears, blowing his robes until they snapped loudly.

Below, on the streets, a large swarm of black dots was moving rapidly through various thoroughfares.

Fortunately, those black dots were not Death Eaters, but fleeing wizards, likely students or tourists visiting Hogsmeade for the weekend.

Lynn's gaze did not linger on those fleeing people.

He locked onto several black figures in the center of the street.

Six Death Eaters.

They were wearing uniform black hooded robes, their hoods pulled low, obscuring most of their faces.

At the same time, their wands were not idle, as they were indiscriminately attacking the surrounding shops.

And beside them was another figure, bound hand and foot.

Is that Karkaroff?

Lynn carefully identified the figure.

That build.

That appearance.

Wasn't this the shop owner who had rented the shop to Fred and George?

Lynn suddenly realized.

Very good.

Very good.

No wonder this guy was in such a rush to rent out the shop.

He was in a hurry to run away.

Lynn shook his head, raised his wand, and pointed the tip at the Death Eaters below.

Moo—!!!

A deafening roar exploded in the sky, as if an ancient beast were bellowing from the clouds.

The sound was so loud that the windows on both sides of the street buzzed and shook.

So loud that the few people fleeing subconsciously covered their ears and crouched down.

So loud that the actions of those six Death Eaters paused simultaneously.

They looked up.

Then they saw a behemoth swooping down from the sky, trailing sparks and lightning all the way.

Literally trailing sparks and lightning.

When Lynn condensed the Graphorn projection, he added something to it.

Lightning danced between its four hooves, leaving blue-white arcs in the air with every step.

Curses circulated around its body like an invisible film, clinging to the surface of that gray-purple projection.

The speed of the Graphorn projection's dive was so fast that the air was torn apart, emitting a sharp, piercing sound.

The Death Eaters below, while running, thought the same thing in their minds.

What the hell is this thing?!

Boom—!!!

The Graphorn projection slammed into the ground.

The stone slabs in the center of the street shattered directly, with gravel flying and dust rising.

A large hole appeared in the center of the street, its edges jagged, as if something had taken a vicious bite out of it from below.

The depth of the hole was about the height of a person.

The head of the Graphorn projection was still buried in the hole, continuing to drill inward.

The Death Eaters climbed up from the ground and laughed brazenly at the Graphorn projection that was still desperately drilling into the ground.

"Hahahaha—what a stupid thing this is!"

"It hit the ground! It hit the ground!"

"Hahahaha—is that it? Is that all?"

"I thought it would be so powerful, but it turns out it's just a—"

But the next second, they could no longer laugh.

The massive Graphorn projection exploded right where it was.

Boom—!!!

The deafening sound was more than ten times louder than the Graphorn's roar earlier.

The sound echoed through the street, wave after wave, shaking the walls, shattering the windows, making the ears of those Death Eaters buzz, and causing stars to dance before their eyes.

At the center of the explosion, a visible shockwave spread outward from the deep pit, moving so fast that the naked eye could barely keep up.

One second, it was at the edge of the pit.

The next, it had already swept past the bodies of those Death Eaters.

One of the Death Eaters reacted the fastest.

The moment the Graphorn projection began to glow, he realized something was wrong, and his body reacted before his brain.

He lunged to the side, simultaneously raising his wand to cast a Shield Charm in front of him.

The light of the Shield Charm shone before him, and the translucent barrier blocked most of the impact.

But he was still blasted away.

His body traced an arc through the air, then slammed hard against the wall on the opposite side of the street.

Bang!

That dull thud was much quieter than the explosion, but it made one's teeth ache to hear it.

His back hit the wall, his bones made a crisp cracking sound, and he looked like a poster stuck to the wall, pausing for an instant before sliding down and collapsing onto the ground.

His Shield Charm saved his life, but it didn't save his body.

His arm was twisted at an unnatural angle, his leg was also crooked, and his robes were covered in blood.

The impact of the explosion was too great, so great that his blood vessels burst, his internal organs shifted, and his skin was covered in dense, fine lines.

The other Death Eaters were not so lucky.

The one who had laughed the loudest earlier suffered the worst, being hit directly by the shockwave.

Before his Shield Charm could even be cast, he had already been sent flying.

His body was torn to pieces in the shockwave, as if ripped open from the middle by an invisible hand.

Flesh and blood flew, shattered bones scattered, and before he could even let out a scream, he had become a pile of unrecognizable remains scattered across the street.

The others were slightly farther from the center of the explosion, but not by much.

They were knocked to the ground by the shockwave, rolling several times before stopping.

Their robes were shredded, and their exposed skin was covered in scorch marks from the lightning and festering sores from the curses.

It was clear they wouldn't survive much longer.

In just a few seconds, Lynn had successfully dealt with these Death Eaters.

He slowly descended from the air and arrived beside the deep pit at the center of the explosion.

At the bottom of the pit, Karkaroff, bound hand and foot, was curled up in a twisted posture.

His face was deathly pale, his lips purple, his eyes tightly closed, and his breathing was so weak that it was almost imperceptible.

His robes had several rips from the shockwaves of the explosion, and there were several wounds on his exposed skin caused by flying debris, which were oozing blood.

This was the result of Lynn deliberately holding back.

If not for the fact that Karkaroff was still useful, facing an explosion of this magnitude at such close range, leaving behind even a corpse would have been a luxury.

Lynn yawned and raised his wand.

"Blessing of Dittany, Silver Radiance Flow."

A soft light emerged from the tip of his wand.

The light touched Karkaroff's skin and seeped in, like water seeping into parched earth.

The wounds caused by the debris slowly closed, and his skin gradually turned from pale to pink.

His breathing also became a bit more stable, no longer in that state where it seemed it might stop at any moment.

Lynn put away his wand and looked at Karkaroff at the bottom of the pit, feeling an indescribable sensation in his heart.

He hadn't expected that the first time he used [Blessing of Dittany] and [Silver Radiance Flow] to save someone, it would be on Karkaroff.

This made him feel a bit disgusted.

Lynn stood up from the edge of the pit, brushed the dust off his robes, turned around, and prepared to take the few Death Eaters who still had a breath left back to Hogwarts.

He had just taken a step.

Click.

An extremely faint sound, like metal colliding, came from behind him.

The sound was too faint.

If Lynn's ears hadn't been sharper than most people's, he wouldn't have heard it at all.

Lynn's steps paused.

Click.

Another one.

This time, it was clearer and closer.

Lynn sharply turned his head and looked in the direction the sound had come from.

A beetle was circling in midair.

Lynn's eyes narrowed.

Hogsmeade in November.

The Scottish Highlands in November.

The temperature was around five or six degrees, the wind was strong, and occasionally there was a bit of rain or snow.

At this season, at this temperature, in this weather—

Didn't beetles hibernate?

Ordinary beetles started looking for a place to hibernate at the end of September.

By October, they basically couldn't be seen anymore.

If one could still fly outside in November, then it had either been driven out of its nest by something, or—

It was not a real beetle at all.

Lynn's wand spun once in his hand, the tip pointing at the beetle still circling in midair.

"Accio."

An invisible suction force surged from the tip of the wand.

Like an invisible hand, it precisely grabbed the beetle.

Before it could struggle, or perhaps even before it could realize what had happened, it was pulled over by the suction force and flew straight toward Lynn's hand.

Lynn reached out and caught it in his palm.

Its six legs frantically kicked between Lynn's fingers, and its wings flapped desperately under its shell, emitting a buzzing sound.

Lynn held the beetle up to his eyes, watching it struggle in his palm.

"Punk," he said softly, "it's almost November, damn it. Don't you hibernate?"

Buzz, buzz, buzz—

The beetle struggled even harder.

But no matter what, it couldn't break free.

Lynn stared at the beetle still desperately struggling in his palm, the corners of his mouth curling up bit by bit.

He had guessed right.

This beetle was indeed an Animagus.

Although Lynn didn't know who this person was yet, it didn't stop him at all from taking them away.

He took a small glass bottle out of his pocket.

The bottle was not big, only palm-sized and transparent, with its mouth stopped by a cork.

He stuffed the beetle inside and put the cork back.

The beetle fluttered a few times in the bottle, its wings scraping against the glass wall with a harsh sound.

Then it stopped moving, shrinking to the bottom of the bottle as if waiting to die.

Lynn held the bottle up to his eyes, watching the quiet beetle inside.

"Don't be afraid," he said. "I won't kill you for now."

The beetle started fluttering again.

Lynn chuckled and stuffed the bottle back into his pocket.

Then he turned around and continued cleaning up the Death Eaters.

For the seriously injured ones, he cast Stupefy on each of them to ensure they wouldn't wake up on the way.

As for the one who had been blasted into the wall, Lynn pried him off the wall and also cast Stupefy on him.

He piled the Death Eaters together, used Transfiguration to conjure a few ropes, tied them into a string, and dragged them to the front of the Death Eater who had been blown to pieces.

With a wave of his wand, a cluster of Fiendfyre landed on the remains, burning them clean in a few seconds and leaving not even ash behind.

Lynn nodded in satisfaction and took out his Magic Phone to check the time.

It was still early.

He thought for a moment and didn't call Levi.

It wasn't far anyway, so he would just drag them along.

He waved his wand, and the string of people floated up from the ground, suspended in midair like a string of sausages.

Lynn gripped his wand, dragging the string of people like someone walking a dog, and slowly walked toward Hogwarts.
