"Correct guess, but unfortunately, there's no prize." The smile on Lynn's face completely vanished, the playful atmosphere swept away. "Alright, I'm done teasing you. It's time to send you on your way."
As his voice fell, Lynn steadily raised his wand with his right hand, pointing the tip directly at the last Blood Puppet trapped in the center of the sea of fire—which was already at the end of its rope—and Lennus's consciousness within it.
Crack—Sizzle!
Blinding blue-white lightning began to dance wildly at the tip of his wand, emitting a scalp-numbing popping sound! The light of the lightning was so dazzling that it even ionized the air around him, creating a faint burnt smell.
The glow of the thunder seemed to dye his eyes, briefly turning his pupils into a flickering blue-white.
Powerful arcs of electricity spread out like a physical wave, suppressing the surrounding flames.
The power of this strike was clearly far beyond the level of the attack on the previous two Blood Puppets.
Lennus naturally wouldn't sit and wait for death! Driven by survival instinct, he made the most extreme reaction in an instant.
"You want to kill me?! It won't be that easy! Let's die together!!" Lennus let out a hysterical roar.
The last trace of dark red blood light surrounding the Blood Puppet, which was originally used to maintain its dim shield, suddenly retracted in reverse, surging madly into its body!
Following that, the alchemy runes on its surface lit up with ominous red light like an overloaded circuit; its entire torso seemed to become a blood-colored furnace about to explode!
Whoosh—!
A dark red blood mist, so thick it wouldn't disperse, suddenly erupted from every joint and pore of the Blood Puppet, rapidly converging toward the center of its palms, which had turned into claws.
Shing! Shing! Shing! Shing! Shing—!!!
Countless blood-colored blades, thin as a cicada's wing with black energy flowing along the edges, shot out indiscriminately in all directions with Lennus as the center!
These Blood Blades were incredibly fast and followed tricky trajectories, instantly penetrating the surrounding fire barrier and sealing off all the space above, below, left, and right where Lynn might dodge!
Wherever the Blood Blades passed, they exhibited a terrifying corrosiveness.
Whether it was the residual flames, the scattered and tenacious withered grass on the scorched earth below, or even the distant bushes untouched by the fire—once swept by the aftershocks or directly hit by the Blood Blades, they immediately made a strange "hissing" sound, their vitality being forcibly extracted at a speed visible to the naked eye!
The plants instantly withered, turned black, and vanished into ash, while those faint traces of life energy traveled back along the trajectories to be absorbed by the Blood Blades. They turned into strands of even more foul red light, feeding back into the body of the disintegrating Blood Puppet in the center, attempting to extend its existence for a moment longer or even enhance the power of the Blood Blades.
Facing this desperate counterattack covering all angles, Lynn seemed "forced" to interrupt the gathering of that powerful thunder.
Frowning, his figure suddenly became blurred in the air. He began to dodge the dense Blood Blades attacking from all directions at various incredible twisting angles and instantaneous speed changes, looking extremely "disheveled."
After several dodges, his movements were still swift, but he had clearly lost his previous composure.
Several times, the Blood Blades passed him by a hair's breadth; the hem of his robe was cut open by the sharp edges, and one blade even flew almost flush against his cheek.
"Hahaha!!!" Seeing Lynn dodging pathetically in the air, Lennus let out a hearty, wild laugh. "Brat! Run! Why aren't you running anymore?! Where's your thunder?! Where's your fire?! Before absolute power and determination, your little tricks are useless!!"
He laughed wildly while exhausting his last strength to drive the Blood Puppet to continuously fire more and faster Blood Blades, vowing to tear Lynn into pieces.
Puchi!
The clear sound of a sharp weapon sinking into flesh rang out abruptly amidst the sound of the Blood Blades cutting through the air!
Lennus saw that a Blood Blade had finally caught a tiny flaw in Lynn's dodging, accurately hitting his shoulder blade and almost passing through his body!
In mid-air, Lynn's body suddenly stiffened, and the color instantly drained from his face. He slowly lowered his head, looking in disbelief at the small section of the blood-colored blade tip protruding from the front of his shoulder, then looked up with difficulty at the wildly laughing Blood Puppet below, his eyes filled with intense resentment.
Immediately after, the wound hit by the Blood Blade showed a strange sign of grayish-white withering. Furthermore, this withering rapidly spread toward Lynn's entire body!
His skin lost its luster, his muscles shriveled at a visible rate, and his life force was being madly extracted by that Blood Blade!
"Ugh... ah..." Lynn let out a pained groan. He tried to raise his wand, but his arm fell weakly.
The raging sea of fire trapping the Blood Puppet also seemed to lose its source, and the flames dissipated. In just a few breaths, the prison that was once a towering inferno turned into wisps of green smoke.
Lynn himself fell powerlessly from mid-air, hitting the charred ground below with a "thud."
The sea of fire vanished, the thunder was gone, and the threat was neutralized.
Only the Blood Puppet in the center, covered in cracks but still standing, remained, along with the "Lynn" on the ground who seemed to have lost all signs of life.
Silence, a deathly silence, with only the night wind wailing across the scorched earth.
"Hahaha... Hahahaha!!!" Lennus's wild laughter erupted again, louder than before and filled with extreme pleasure. "Dead! Finally dead! You damned brat! This is what happens when you oppose me!! Run! Why aren't you running?! Where are your schemes and tricks?! Before true power, they are vulnerable!!"
He controlled the Blood Puppet and walked toward Lynn's "corpse" on the ground.
However, just as he walked to within three steps of "Lynn," leaned down, and reached out to touch the "corpse"—
The "Lynn" corpse on the ground made a soft "crack" sound, as if cracks had appeared in a piece of fine glass.
Then, under Lennus's incredulous gaze, the corpse turned into countless shimmering white points of light and rapidly dissipated into the air.
At the same time, a cheeky voice rang out from behind:
"Look at what you're doing?"
"What?!" Lennus was terrified and tried to turn around abruptly, but it was all too late.
The real Lynn had already appeared in the air several meters behind and to the side of the Blood Puppet. Not only had the thunder gathered at his wand tip not dissipated, but because of the "performance" just now, it had been further condensed and compressed! It erupted with a roar at this moment!
Rumble—!!!!
A bolt of lightning, thicker, more dazzling, and more violent than any before, poured out from the tip of the wand instantly swallowing Lennus!
There was no explosion, only extreme heat and a burst of destructive energy. The Blood Puppet's broken body and Lennus's consciousness attached to it left not even a trace under this pure and overbearing thunder strike; they were completely vaporized and vanished into nothingness.
Lynn stretched. "Solved."
He turned his gaze toward Hogwarts Castle, preparing to return. However, when he looked up at the Castle, the sight before him made him pause slightly.
He saw that Hogwarts Castle was currently covered tightly by a massive Magical Protective Shield, like a solid eggshell.
Outside the shield, on a nearby hillside, two figures stood. One of them, a lady, was staring dumbfoundedly at Lynn, who had just turned his head.
