"The Eye of the Moon Plan?"
Minato and Kakashi both froze slightly.
Ning Feng had mentioned this plan before, but neither of them had pressed him for details.
Now that he was bringing it up again, they immediately focused all their attention on what he was about to say.
"Madara Uchiha had already planned his own resurrection back when he fought Hashirama Senju at the Valley of the End."
"What?!"
Everyone was stunned once more.
It felt as though another bombshell had just been dropped.
Madara had planned for events after his own death all the way back then?
"And what exactly is the Eye of the Moon Plan?"
Minato was the first to recover.
After all, Madara belonged to a distant era. It wasn't strange for his way of thinking to differ from modern shinobi.
More importantly, Madara had already been revived.
What truly mattered now was understanding the Eye of the Moon Plan.
"The Eye of the Moon Plan, in simple terms, is Madara's goal of sealing the Ten-Tails inside himself and becoming its jinchūriki."
"After that, he intends to cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi across the entire world and place every person in the shinobi world under a single illusion."
Ning Feng nodded toward Minato.
As expected of his teacher.
He had immediately identified the core issue.
The Eye of the Moon Plan was what mattered most.
Only by understanding Madara's objective could they hope to stop whatever came next.
"Cast Infinite Tsukuyomi over the entire world?"
Shisui frowned.
Tsukuyomi was Itachi Uchiha's signature technique.
Infinite Tsukuyomi sounded like an enhanced version.
He had witnessed Tsukuyomi's power firsthand.
If such a technique were cast on the entire world...
Wouldn't everyone be trapped inside a genjutsu?
"You could say that anyone who hasn't awakened the Rinnegan would fall under its influence."
"In Madara's eyes, that would create a certain form of peace."
Ning Feng sighed softly.
Now the truth of everything was finally clear.
The room fell silent.
Then confusion followed.
"So... what exactly is Madara's objective?"
"To achieve the peace he believes in."
A mocking smile appeared on Ning Feng's lips.
"He intends to drag everyone into an illusionary dream world."
"And to him, that's peace."
"A dream world?"
Minato slapped the desk.
"That's it?"
"For a reason that simple?"
"This is unbelievable."
Shisui looked equally stunned.
To throw the entire world into chaos over something so absurd?
"Then when he was acting through the Edo Tensei and hiding behind a mask, was he simply concealing his identity?"
Minato suddenly recalled the Nine-Tails Incident.
"But why choose to revive now?"
"If he was already active back then, wearing a mask to hide his identity would make sense."
"No."
Ning Feng shook his head with a smile.
"That wasn't Madara."
Seeing this reaction, he realized that even after spending longer with the masked man than in the original timeline, Minato still hadn't recognized Obito.
"That wasn't Madara?"
All three of them stared at him in surprise.
"Correct."
"The masked man's true identity…"
Ning Feng paused.
"Actually, Teacher Minato, he's someone you know very well."
"Someone I know?"
Minato pointed at himself, frowning.
Most of his enemies were already dead.
The few survivors certainly didn't possess Sharingan or mastery over space-time techniques.
Who could it possibly be?
"That person is..."
"Obito Uchiha."
"Obito?!"
Minato's eyes widened.
His pale blue gaze filled with disbelief.
"How could it be Obito?"
"He died during the Kannabi Bridge mission!"
"He survived."
"Madara rescued him and raised him as his successor."
Ning Feng let out a long sigh.
"Impossible."
Minato shook his head immediately.
"That child was full of light."
"How could he become Madara's pawn?"
"Because Madara deliberately showed him the darkness of the world."
"Then manipulated him into becoming exactly that."
Ning Feng wasn't surprised by Minato's reaction.
He simply continued.
"Showed him the darkness?"
Kakashi suddenly stepped forward and grabbed Ning Feng by the collar.
"How is that possible?!"
"Obito was the brightest person I knew!"
"He was a true shinobi!"
"He worked harder than anyone for peace!"
Disbelief filled the eye visible above Kakashi's mask.
The Sharingan he carried had been Obito's gift.
During the darkest period of his life, Obito's words had remained with him.
Even in the end, Obito had entrusted everything to him.
"This is the truth."
Calmly, Ning Feng removed Kakashi's trembling hand from his clothing.
"Obito Uchiha fell under Madara's influence."
"From that point onward, he served him."
"He became Madara's successor and acted under his identity throughout the shinobi world."
"Because Madara needed to become the Ten-Tails' jinchūriki."
"He had to gather all nine Tailed Beasts."
"That is the Eye of the Moon Plan."
"And it is Madara's plan."
Ignoring the complicated expressions around him, Ning Feng laid everything bare.
Kakashi's body trembled uncontrollably.
The masked man...
Had really been his friend?
The very friend he had spent years feeling guilty about?
"Then why did he cause the Nine-Tails Incident?"
Minato's gaze sharpened.
"To obtain the Nine-Tails."
Ning Feng sighed as he looked at Minato and Kakashi.
Among everyone present, those two had shared the deepest bonds with Obito.
They had fought beside him.
Learned beside him.
Cared about him.
Naturally, they were the ones least capable of accepting the truth.
Shisui, meanwhile, simply accepted the revelation in silence.
Before all this, Obito had been little more than a mediocre member of the Uchiha Clan.
Someone who would never have drawn Shisui's attention.
Still...
The fact that the two greatest threats to the shinobi world—Madara and Obito—both came from the Uchiha Clan left him feeling somewhat awkward.
When he thought about it, he found himself admiring Ning Feng's composure.
After all, Ning Feng was the son of the clan head.
Yet he showed no hesitation whatsoever in exposing fellow Uchiha responsible for plunging the world into chaos.
His younger clansman truly possessed remarkable self-control.
"Just for the Nine-Tails?"
Kakashi's teeth clenched.
His hand slammed heavily onto the table.
Beneath his mask, his face had turned slightly red.
Even the Sharingan hidden beneath his forehead protector glowed with a dangerous crimson light.
"Was he really willing to throw away his teacher…"
"His comrades…"
"For that?"
