The ruins of Valyria, the site where the army of the Dragon King Orryon was destroyed.

Viserys watched the figure of the three-headed monster bird in the sky; its cry was shrill and high-pitched.

The Blood Cult and the Fire Party in the Dragon King Council and the court had long since been completely destroyed, but the pets left behind by the Blood Cult were still ravaging Valyria.

Viserys roughly understood the difference between the Blood Cult and the Fire Party; the Dragon Kings of both factions were familiar with Blood Magic and Fire Magic.

However, the Fire Party focused more on breaking through their own limitations and enhancing the power of Fire Magic, whereas the Blood Cult, in addition to their preference for Blood Magic, also enjoyed developing bizarre pets through Blood Magic.

The House Targaryen of that time only possessed the mystical talent of "Dreamer," and had never touched the core of magic.

Furthermore, they were not valued by the Blood Cult or the Fire Party, and were considered mid-to-lower-tier Dragon Kings.

The monster bird's feathers were a striking dark blood-red, as if they had been soaked in a pool of blood.

This damn thing was truly not afraid of the Human-Faced Worm, hovering high in the air without fear of the Human-Faced Worm's assault.

Birds naturally have a restraining effect on insects, and as long as the three-headed bird did not land, it could avoid the corrosion of the insects.

Blue eagles, white eagles—this was the first time Viserys had seen a bird with blood-colored feathers.

The Blood Eagle's body was paired with white heads.

The heads of the lion, the eagle, and the Unicorn were all white; there were white lions in the Dothraki Sea, and white Unicorns were also very common.

The heads of the lion and the Unicorn had been forcibly grafted onto the body of the blood-colored giant eagle, protruding abruptly.

The torso of the three-headed bird was also astonishingly large, as if it had been injected with some power, swelling several times over like a balloon, just enough to carry the three heads.

The three-headed bird was more like a galloping steed in the sky with giant wings attached, far exceeding the size of an ordinary hawk or falcon.

At the center of each of the monster bird's heads was embedded a larger, blood-drop-shaped dark red gem, and on each cheek were three slightly smaller dark red gems on the left and right.

There was even a string of blood-colored gems below the throat of the monster bird.

The monster bird's three sets of eyes were like flowing lava of blood-colored flames, possessing a bizarre and vicious feeling; it had already locked onto the humans that appeared in its field of vision.

The three-headed monster bird was likely so excited because it had discovered moving, living beings; it viewed the humans, who were not Fire Zombies, as prey.

"Spread out! Maintain vigilance," Viserys commanded.

"Form a primary and secondary formation, protect His Majesty," Argos and Jarak shouted.

The first volley of arrows was fired from crossbows and Goldenheart bows, interspersed with throwing spears.

The monster bird continued to charge toward them, ignoring the arrows flying from the sky, its body twisting sharply; in terms of speed, it was truly astonishing.

The three-headed bird spewed flames, and the blood-drop gems on its body were all emitting an eerie glow.

The rotating, dark blood-red flames the monster bird spewed had a nauseating, bloody smell mixed with the stench of sulfur, and were not as bright as true Dragonflame.

This was not Dragonflame, but a modification of Blood Magic.

Even so, transforming the three-headed bird into a lively, fire-breathing monster demonstrated extremely powerful Blood Magic.

"Quickly, spread out!" Viserys ordered his subordinates to separate.

"Quickly, spread out!"

The blood-colored flames spewed by the three heads violently attacked three directions, and rolling waves of heat followed.

An Unsullied who was standing slightly to the side raised his shield and retreated, but he could not dodge in time and was engulfed by the flames.

The flames seemed to crown the Unsullied, whose head swelled a full size larger until it turned into charred ash.

Argos felt his scalp tingle as he saw this scene.

Seeing the prey killed, the three-headed bird shrieked with joy.

"The Blood Cult Dragon Kings truly deserve to be sliced into a thousand pieces," Viserys thought, gritting his teeth. He looked at the blood-colored monster bird; he had lost another man.

Ordinary genetic modification could not be completed at all unless assisted by Blood Magic.

Reproductive isolation is very difficult to break; it is like the crossbreeding of a tiger and a lion—the resulting liger often does not live long and is infertile, though at least tigers and lions are both large cats.

But forcing a lion, an eagle, and a Unicorn together was simply insane.

And this was only a small demonstration of the Blood Cult's skill; they also grafted humans and animals together.

"Break up the formation, groups of three, do not run in a straight line, run in curves," Viserys ordered again. The squad scattered into different arrows to confuse the monster bird and split its attacks.

However, the effect was not that good; the monster bird's speed was extremely fast, and it seemed to recognize that Viserys in his brilliant silver armor posed the greatest threat and was rich in magical energy.

Seeing the three-headed bird in relentless pursuit, Viserys raised his palm, and fire arrows flew toward the three-headed bird like lightning.

This was Valyria, filled everywhere with violent Fire Elements—the perfect venue for a Fire Channeler to perform.

Before the three fire arrows could strike the three-headed bird, the others also supplemented with arrow and throwing spear attacks.

Viserys was unhurried; the monster bird played with fire, and he played with fire too.

The three-headed bird dodged swiftly and retaliated with a fierce blood-colored flame attack.

Viserys agilely dodged the flame attack, and the brilliance of the silver armor on his body grew even brighter; the runes, patterns, and ancient characters shone dazzlingly.

Viserys ran in curves; this was more effective.

The three-headed bird was already very angry, provoked by the enemy's attacks.

It no longer paid attention to anyone else, attacking only Viserys, refusing to give up.

Consequently, the three-headed monster bird flew closer, almost attacking Viserys while skimming the ground, and the flames that occasionally hit him were neutralized by Viserys's silver armor.

Viserys could even smell the indelible stench of blood on the bird, and the time was ripe.

"Die!" Viserys suddenly turned around rapidly while running his curved path, gathering the three fire arrows in his palm into one, aiming at the red gem at the center of the three-headed monster bird's forehead.

Caught off guard, the monster bird took the full force of Viserys's attack.

The golden-red fire arrow, like a roaring golden lightning bolt—this time Viserys had deliberately closed the distance between himself and the three-headed monster bird to ensure the power of the attack.

This fire arrow was fierce, as if slicing through parallel silk, perfect and flawless.

"Bang!"

Just as the fire arrow was about to strike the blood gem, the eagle head in the middle of the monster bird jerked to the side; the arrow did not break the gem, but it blew up one of the monster bird's blood eyes.

The monster bird shrieked in agony, its body twitching and flipping in pain.

The fire arrow shattered its eye directly, even exploding into the inside of its head.

Scalding blood and brain matter were splattered out, dripping, dripping onto the ground, scorching it.

The three-headed bird flipped and roared, aimlessly spewing blood-colored flames to vent its anger.

Viserys took a deep breath, hurry to finish off this three-headed bird to avoid more of its companions coming.

So, taking the opportunity, Viserys's fire arrows crackled fiercely again; this time, he aimed at the other eye of the monster bird's middle head.

The other eye of the three-headed bird was also blown open by the fire arrow, and its middle head had become a blind head, with blood-colored craters where its eyes used to be.

The monster bird flew high and fell low in pain, almost crashing into the ground before barely stopping itself.

It angrily searched for Viserys's figure, spewing flames, still flames.

Jarak's Goldenheart bow also took effect, shooting into the left eye of the lion head; the arrow was pinned directly into the three-headed bird's eye socket.

The three-headed bird let out a continuous, shrill shriek, letting the scalding blood slide onto the ground.

It stared at Viserys, circling and flying.

The three-headed bird spun as it came, spewing blood-colored flames while extending its sharp claws.

"Die, beast." Viserys felt that the monster bird's flight and balance were already beginning to fail; this was the final kill.

Argos and the others had reformed their formation, and the Unsullied began to counterattack.

As the three-headed bird charged, Viserys also rushed toward the three-headed bird from the side.

He followed up with another fire arrow, this time exploding on the Unicorn's right eye.

The three-headed bird's roar was filled with resentment and a sense of powerlessness; its originally perfect flying body could now barely maintain balance due to its impaired vision, with only two eyes left.

Viserys's subordinates also hurried to land finishing blows, with arrows and throwing spears attacking again.

The three-headed bird became panicked, wobbling as it fell while dodging arrows and throwing spears, like a fish out of water; it felt like a Blood Eagle falling.

The monster bird's massive body slammed heavily onto the ground, kicking up a ripple of dust, and blood was flowing.

The image of the three-headed monster bird was so terrifying; there were blood holes on every face, and blood was splattered everywhere.

The middle head was completely blinded, and the left and right sides were each missing one eye.

The monster bird's three heads then opened their mouths simultaneously, still spewing blood-colored flames as a final resistance, and many surrounding stones and dragon crystals also suffered.

The monster bird no longer had any reason left, only anger and more anger.

For a bird, falling without eyes is destined to be a dead end.

Because it was severely crippled, the three heads shrieked and cried, even tangling together.

The blind monster bird's flame spewing was completely chaotic, wanting to flatten everything around it in its angry flames.

Viserys ignored the flames reaching him; his silver scale armor was activated, resisting the flames, while the True Dragon Sword was absorbing them.

A layer of scorching flame sword energy condensed on the True Dragon Sword, a purple-gold condensed flame sword energy.

Viserys immediately followed, the True Dragon Sword in his hand rising and falling.

Eagle, Unicorn, lion.

Viserys chopped off all three heads of the monster bird—a bloody slaughter scene.

The monster bird's flesh and skin were quite tough; it required the strongest and most rigid valyrian steel blade, and Viserys had also used magic.

After the monster bird's body twitched a few times, it lost its kinetic energy and also its vitality.

This ferocious monster bird could no longer do evil.

Viserys took out his valyrian steel dagger again and hacked away at the red gems on the monster bird's head and body; these blood gems were extremely expensive.

Viserys carefully examined the body of the three-headed bird; it was a precise structure.

The blood gems embedded in the face, throat, and other parts gathered the power of fire and Blood Magic, and also purified the blood of the three heads to avoid conflict and rejection.

Coupled with the fact that the monster bird's throat and body had been magically reinforced, it could naturally spew flames.

However, this kind of flame, after all, required absorbing Fire Elements before spewing; it was not nearly as abundant as Dragonflame, nor as dangerous.

But even so, having a squad of these three-headed birds would have immense power.

Perhaps the temper of this cobbled-together monster was too foul, and the cost too high, which is why they were not assembled on a large scale.

After all, these three-headed monsters were all studied individually; they had no natural reproductive capacity and were products of mutation.

The three-headed monster bird had consumed quite a lot of blood gems; even among the Blood Cult's experimental subjects, it should be considered a high-end item.

Just considering these three heads—Unicorn, white lion, giant eagle—who knows how much grain they could be exchanged for in the Free Cities; it was truly a waste of precious things.

Viserys ordered his men to come over and butcher the big bird to see if there was anything that could be taken away.

The big bird's leather wings were also as hard as iron and stone, all having been reinforced.

"Take some of the bird's feathers," Viserys commanded.

"As you command, Your Majesty!"

The monster bird was, after all, a bird, and the Human-Faced Worms were probably somewhat afraid of the scent of this bird.

Viserys looked around and discovered a blood-red rose gold disc placed on the bird's neck; Viserys snatched it over.

"Name: Three-headed Blood Eagle (Avian). Codename: 009. Place of Birth: Laboratory in High Sos. Danger Level: Extremely High."

Viserys understood the bird's origin upon seeing this; it seemed it had been sent from High Sos.

High Sos was a city on the Isle of Tears, the main island of the Basilisk Isles. During the rule of Ghiss or Valyria, this place had always been notorious; the Dragon Kings of the Freehold exiled all serious criminals to this Isle of Tears.

Legend had it that in the dungeons of High Sos, sorcerers practiced the most evil Blood Magic, making beasts mate with slave women to give birth to half-human, half-beast monsters.

On the back of the rose gold disc was written another sentence: "The great creation of the Blood Cult leader of the supreme and great Dragon King Council, the Daecalian Family."

Viserys was quite speechless; the Blood Cult was truly rotten to the core.

This genetically modified Three-headed Blood Eagle was not their first product, nor would it be the last.

God knows how many more Blood Cult monsters there were in Valyria.

It was said that what the Blood Cult loved most was the splicing of humans and beasts; if so, perhaps there were still residual experimental subjects emerging from the Blood Cult's laboratories.

After all, for the Blood Cult, slaves were worthless and perhaps not as scarce as the raw materials for the three-headed bird.

Viserys thought for a moment and prepared to burn the big bird completely with a fire.

But it seemed like the sound of wind was rising in the sky; it was the smell of sulfur and fire.

Viserys's five senses were the sharpest; he looked toward the vast sky, and it seemed a mass of flowing light was flying toward him.

Flowing fire, flowing gold, flowing red; it seemed there was also a scent of magical sludge.

Viserys held his breath and focused; could it be?
