Sasuke reached out and took the container.
"I can do it; Izunami isn't restricted to people."
Sasuke replied, looking at the eyes before looking back up at Kakashi a moment later.
"You want these to go to my brother."
Sasuke realized, focusing on the eyes.
"Izunami has a cost to send a target to the dimension and a cost depending on the severity of what I'm healing. If it's simple, then it's no problem. If someone is near death, it's far more taxing."
Sasuke explained, already estimating how much chakra it'd take to heal his old eyes. The target was small, thus easier to pull into the dimension, but the state of his eyes was another matter.
Sasuke sighed, looking to Kakashi, then to Tsunade.
"I can do it, but I won't spend another day in this bed. If I'm weak for a couple of days, then I'll deal with it and sleep in my bed back at home."
Sasuke said, not even noticing how Kakashi was smiling softly at how he already considered Kakashi's home to be his own home.
"Very well then."
Tsunade reached into her bust under the unbelieving gaze of Sasuke and pulled out a hospital discharge form and handed it to Sasuke.
"Sign here and here, and put the date and time at the top right. I'll have Sakura check in on you with a home visit if you're drained after this."
Sasuke quickly signed the forms and focused on the container, the container swirling and vanishing with a soft whisper of
"Izunami."
Sasuke felt the hit to his reserves, but it wasn't as bad as the first time, calculating that he could heal two more heavily injured people and still have enough chakra to throw around a couple of fireballs and use lightning flow on his blade.
"That's quite the taxing technique."
Kakashi commented, having watched more than two Jonin worth of chakra vanish from Sasuke in that one use.
"You've used that ability twice now; once nearly killed you and now you have some chakra to spare if you're smart with it. Is your other eye ability just as taxing as this one?"
Sasuke shook his head, rubbing under his right eye as he recalled the information that flooded his mind when he achieved the Mangekyō.
"The name of my right eye ability is Kagutsuchi-no-Tsurugi. From what Itachi explained to me about his black flames, it works in a similar way. But instead of creating flames, it creates weapons made of chakra depending on what I want, and these weapons ignore physical defenses, including armor or even chakra cloaks. If they're not dodged, the blades rapidly drain the target's chakra, transferring it directly back to me to replenish my reserves or use in other ways if I'm already full on chakra."
"Are they strictly a close-range attack? Do you have to be in contact with the weapon that absorbed the chakra for it to funnel back to you? Can the weapons be controlled once fired or is it just a pick a direction and fire type of attack?"
Kakashi went into his inventor mode, leaning forward in interest as he thought of this ability.
'Can ignore physical defense like Kamui, can steal chakra if cut or stabbed.'
Kakashi mentally noted, ready to hear more.
Sasuke blinked at the rapid-fire questions, but answered them in order nonetheless.
"They can be fired and used at close range. Yes, I do have to be in contact with the blade, but it can be pulled back to me as I have mental control of the chakra I create, and yes, I can control the trajectory of the attack in the same way that I can recall them. From what I understand, space-time abilities and fuinjutsu can counter it, maybe more, but I don't expect those abilities to be that common."
"A very versatile ability that covers everything you need, but the main premise of this is the chakra stealing, right? It's clear why your left eye ability manifested, but this right one was because of Naruto, right?"
Kakashi replied after taking in every detail about the ability.
"Yes, his insane chakra reserves."
Sasuke confirmed, having always been very jealous of how Naruto could keep training hours after he had long since been exhausted.
"This ability is a great one, but never try to absorb the chakra of something that you're not familiar with, like Sage chakra or tailed-beast chakra. Both can kill you. But without that absorption ability, your blades can still be used to attack."
Kakashi waited for Sasuke to nod before continuing another question.
"What about range? Can you control them from far away?"
Sasuke thought about it.
"I can see pretty far, but that's compared to others without dojutsu, not including the Byakugan, of course, as they have the furthest range. But I can only control the blades if I can see them."
'Still far better than that bum of an experiment from the future who could mark and control weapons.'
Kakashi nodded, finding the ability to be both great and have some small downsides that can be worked around.
"Reasonable, it's a dojutsu after all, and it has many uses for different situations. I'm also guessing you can make many smaller weapons like senbon. And one last question, is the amount of chakra absorbed determined by the size of the weapon?"
Sasuke shook his head.
"The weapon size itself doesn't matter for chakra absorption, but the cost of chakra to make each weapon goes up or down depending on the size of the weapon."
'So, in theory, he can make a big sword for his Susanoo that can ignore defenses and steal chakra.'
Kakashi thought about it and about the kamui shuriken technique, getting an idea for later.
"So essentially only techniques that obscure vision, target speeds, and those with abnormal chakra can deal with this technique, and even then, the technique can still be used to purely attack the ones with normal chakra; just because he uses it doesn't mean you have to absorb the chakra."
"That's the gist of it, yes."
Sasuke affirmed, looking over to see Tsunade and the form he signed gone.
"When did she leave?"
Kakashi waved it off.
"After you explained the basics of your other ability, she got bored when I started asking you all the questions."
Kakashi's lips curved in amusement at what must have sounded like a couple of nerds discussing.
"Anyway, are you ready to go home? I'll make some dinner, and you can finally sleep in your own bed."
"Yes, I'd love to have some of your awful rice right about now."
Kakashi playfully scoffed and slapped his hand on Sasuke's shoulder before they vanished in a flash.
