"?!?!"
Justin was walking down the hallway alone after the evening practice, going to the cafeteria for a quick meal, when the door to one of the supposedly empty classrooms opened, and someone not only grabbed his hand but pulled him inside!
The future hero tried resisting, that's a given, and his reflexes were sharp enough to allow him to react, but it didn't mean a thing as he lost his footing and was swept away regardless.
Not being given a chance to slip away, he was then pushed to the side and pinned down to the wall. His thoughts started racing. Who could it be? His seniors started showing up to practice all beaten and bruised and mostly lost the desire to bully him a while back…
…and that had to be Rotsard Vallhall's doing, especially after he declared that would be exactly what he would do…
"!!!"
And the moment Justin thought about the bleached-blond-haired youth, the beastly yellow eyes that could only belong to him gazed upon him, taking the future hero's breath away.
...completely destroying the act and making her forget she was even supposed to behave like a member of the opposite gender...
Was it happening…?! It was happening, was it not!?
Blanid's face turned hot, and her head turned blank while she ceased all forms of resistance and merely looked into those beastly yellow eyes….
Not fearfully, but… expectantly.
"Tomorrow, ditch the practice with the weaklings early and come here. Alone. Be in the female form."
"!!!'
Rotsard's whisper filled the ears of the girl disguised as a boy, making her knees weak.
"T-tomorrow…?"
She basically whimpered, all fidgety. Her eyes glossed over, and her face flushed.
"I applaud your eagerness, but I have been watching you for a bit longer than you realize. You always give your all during the regular practice… and this won't cut it. I'm going to make you gasp for air, but I don't want to actually physically break you. You are more precious than you can imagine."
"!!!"
That reaction made him snicker and shake his head while raising his hand and lightly tapping the disguised girl's forehead, which flustered her to no end.
"If we're in agreement, be on your way. Rest well because you're going to need all of your energy for tomorrow."
"...o-o-o-okay…"
Blanid muttered, her Justin act completely gone, and Rotsard pulled away from her with a confident smile. Even opened the door for her.
As she left, he returned to the classroom and…
"I… I don't think that you realized how you made it sound…"
Syon, the person who was in that very classroom the whole time but got completely ignored, or rather went completely unnoticed by the girl disguised as the future hero, spoke up slowly, as if weighing each word carefully.
"Wait, rally? Wasn't I clear that I am offering him more secret training?"
Rotsard raised his brow and asked, taken aback.
"You told him that you will make him gasp for air…"
"Yeah, with rigorous training! Don't make it sound weird!"
Syon pointed out, making Rotsard scoff grumpily.
"And let's not forget how you told him to show up in his feminine form. Or is it also me making things weird?"
"Hey, I meant the disguise he was already using before when we trained together! It worked, so why change it?
Another remark met with even more defensive responses…
"...alright, now that you said it, I should have just told him to show up in disguise…"
But not even a minute later, Rotsard was lowering his head and nodding with an awkward and guilty expression.
"That's all I wanted to hear… also, you might want to clarify it with him, or he might show up with… certain expectations…"
"Now you're doing it on purpose!"
Syon then added, but his snide snickering did not escape Rotsard's attention, and he was called out instantly.
"Will you tell me now what rekindled your teacher spirit?"
The thing was, Rotsard wasn't the only one good at picking slight nuances, and ended up being taken by surprise by Syon's next question.
"...just… It's just that… that commoner ended up getting pulled into my plans. Helping him get stronger will be my way of apologizing for using him to appear weak and all…"
"...huh… if you say so…"
Rotsard tensed up and gave an unconvincing answer without looking at Syon, making him furrow his brows and grumble….
