I sighed once again, quieter than before.
I believe something about her wasn't right. She has some secret which no one knows, not even her. The thought itself made my imagination run wild. People like her are the ones who attracts me and curiosity is the thing that draws me towards them.
Without me even realising, my face twitched into a tiny smirk.
Clera you really have the tendency to make me curious beside my own curiosity to myself-from my still foggy past, you are the only woman who has actually made me tense.
"Fuck," I murmured under my breath.
I forced myself to change the topic on my mind, but instead of something warm and pleasent things he came in my mind. Ruining everything like an unwanted parasite in a body which only damages it's host's body for its own benifits.
I shut my eyes, trying to ignore my own thoughts, but it never left my side. Not even for a second.
He was really like a parasite, who only knew how to ruin things and make someone suffer... Someone who is ruthless, someone who owes me revenge. Literally, eight years of revenge which I definitely can't forget. A chill ran down my entire body, as if telling me it isn't far before I get my revenge.
"Don't worry. It won't be long before I get my revenge from you." I chuckled soundlessly, " Just wait."
"Xey?"
"... Yeah?" I stumbled over words as I said. My head instantly turned towards the source of voice- beside me.
His pheonix eyes shone immediately, maybe because of the evening or something else... I didn't know. His face twisted to form a warm smile, like gentle rain on a sunny afternoon.
"Lay down here, until he arrives." he offered and I accepted it without a second thought.
The grass was soft and slightly wet, not that soft but at least it was better than the woods and dry leaves back from the jungle trip with Kevin. I gazed at the vast and magnificent view, it was indeed simple but it was there- that's important.
"How are ya feelin? Is there any signs of sickness?" he asked, making sure of my health like everytime.
"For your first question: I'm feelin preety good right now," I paused before giving him the second answer. "As for the second: I'm feelin a little cold but it's normal."
The moment the words came out, a worried pair of eyes lingered on me. "Don't worry, I'm fine." I said without looking at him.
"I'll do somethin..." he immediately said, not caring about anything but my health. But before he could fully stand up, I clutched his arm and pulled him back, with a thud he fell back on the grassy ground.
" You ain't goin anywhere... Lay down." I ordered lazily, my gaze not focusing on anything- only him.
A warmer smile curved his lips once again. He steadied himself and lay on his side, supporting his upper body with one arm. One leg is stretched out along the ground while the other is bent at the knee, leaving him in a relaxed, slightly reclined position. His gaze never left mine.
Damn, it looks like we are lovers who are flirting with each other. And, why is looking at me like that? Don't look at me like that, it's embarrassing. It's way too embarrassing.
"Can I get a hug!?"
"Huh?"
