One moment he was crouched before her, the next his arms had swept beneath her knees and back. Linda's startled gasp was still leaving her lips when the world tilted. He carried her across the chamber as if she weighed nothing, her loose robe fluttering around her legs. Before she could form a single word of protest he reached the large bed and simply dropped her onto the soft mattress.
She bounced once, blonde hair spreading across the sheets, and immediately tried to sit up. Damian was already over her. His hands caught the hem of her robe and pulled it upward in one smooth motion, sliding the fabric past her thighs, over her hips, higher still until it bunched beneath her breasts.
Linda's legs instinctively pressed together. Then she felt the cool air against her bare skin.
