A cold wind carrying fine violet particles swept into Damian's body, flowing through his skin as his presence swelled with every passing second. The particles seemed alive, eagerly sinking into every pore as though answering the call of a king.
He shut his eyes and inhaled deeply before releasing a slow, cold hiss that carried faint traces of violet mist. When he opened them again, each pupil had split into three while his canine teeth lengthened into sharp fangs. Black cracks spread subtly beneath the skin around his eyes, making his gaze appear less human and far more ancient.
