"What the hell are you talking about?" Hazel hissed, her voice carrying an unmistakable edge of hostility.
"Don't bother asking him." Ruby snarled, her emerald eyes narrowing. "He's just sprouting rubbish."
Despite the hostility radiating from both women, Corbin's smile never faded beneath the white cloth concealing his eyes. If anything, the amusement lingering around his lips only deepened as he quietly observed their reactions. They looked exactly as he had expected.
"I did not come here to debate with the ungodly." Corbin said calmly. "I merely came to offer you a warning before I reclaim what your husband stole from me."
The words had barely left his mouth when the space behind him distorted violently.
