Meanwhile, outside the False World, Damian's family had already arrived. The mist stretched across several streets like an endless white ocean, swallowing every sound within the city. Vehicles sat abandoned in the middle of the roads while their drivers remained asleep behind the steering wheels. Pedestrians lay peacefully upon sidewalks, benches and bus stops, frozen within dreams they would never remember. Only the members of Damian's household moved through the silent world untouched by the supernatural slumber.
Loth had long separated herself from the others. She stood motionless beside the black SUV where Lith remained slumped over the steering wheel. His lifeless body had not moved since the attack began. One hand still rested upon the steering wheel while the other hung limply by his side. There wasn't a struggle on his face. Whatever Hagrid had done had ended his life before he even realized danger had arrived.
