Ruby's voice exploded through the living room as her green eyes burned violently. The air around her distorted faintly as her emotions leaked out unconsciously.
Rachel sat quietly at the far end of the couch with one leg crossed over the other while her fingers tapped slowly against her arm. Her face remained calm but her narrowed eyes and silence said enough.
Only Hazel remained composed. She sat close beside Damian with her arm wrapped around his while resting her head against his shoulder as though anchoring herself to him.
On the center table, Rin sat quietly with all five tails wrapped around itself while observing everyone's reaction.
This was expected.
No wife would calmly accept hearing that her husband had unknowingly become the center of a political game in Hell. Especially not after hearing there might already be a bounty placed on his life.
