Damian and Rin slowly turned together. At the far end of the path leading deeper into the abyssal zone where the crimson eye remained, staring at them intently.
It floated silently within endless dead woods shaped like a battery meant to keep it locked away. However that did not stop the enormous pupil of the abyss from staring at them with calm amusement as though observing two children trying to solve problems beyond their understanding.
Damian's expression became colder as he narrowed his eyes and folded his arms.
"I don't remember asking for your help." he sneered but the giant eye remained still.
A low chuckle echoed through the realm in a soft but mocking tone like someone trying very hard not to laugh openly.
"Eventually, you will need it." The Abyss hissed in response. "So why not take charge of it now?"
Buzz!
Damian's expression darkened immediately.He opened his mouth to respond but Rin suddenly slapped its tiny paw over his mouth, leaving him blinking in surprise.
