"Is this true?" Twenty asked, his voice low.
As one of Damian's benefactors, he had come here with the intent of getting a name he could exert revenge on. He did not know Damian had already spoken to the police and told them he did not see the shooter's face.
"Is what true?" Damian needed specifics.
The question was too broad to answer.
He gently pulled Hazel's hand off his neck and guided it around his waist, giving himself enough room to sit up without disturbing her sleep too much.
Gently, he began caressing her head and Racheal's before shifting to Ruby. Watching him fondle all three girls made Twenty's heart burn with jealousy, but his fear for this man and his mysterious master superseded every other emotion.
"You don't know who shot you?" Twenty clarified.
"No, of course I know, but I can deal with it personally, so why get the police involved? I'd rather turn this tragedy into an opportunity." Damian shrugged casually.
