Even with her reluctance, there was nothing Linda could do. Even blind, she knew she did not stand a chance against Corbin. Letting out a heavy sigh, she gently slid the ring off Damian's hand, and Corbin frowned because he felt nothing.
Even with the ring removed, he sensed nothing from Damian, who lay on the floor. Linda was also stunned. She had begun drawing possible connections between Damian and the Prince of Hell, but now it seemed those thoughts were mere delusions.
"Happy now?" Her head snapped in his direction.
But Corbin did not speak. He was confused. Was his gut feeling wrong about this devilishly handsome lawyer?
"I'm healing him. We can't wait much longer!" Linda snapped at the dazed Corbin, who still maintained his silence.
