I sat at my desk in my office, the door closed, reviewing the list I'd made for Bryce.
His duties. His responsibilities. His new role in my house.
The list was extensive. Detailed. Deliberately humiliating.
6:00 AM - Clean pack common areas (living room, dining room, kitchen)
7:30 AM - Prepare breakfast for household staff
9:00 AM - Classes (escorted)
3:00 PM - Return home (escorted)
3:30 PM - Organize Alpha office files
5:00 PM - Laundry (Alpha's personal clothing)
6:00 PM - Serve dinner when pack eats together
8:00 PM - Clean Alpha's bedroom and bathroom
9:00 PM - Free time
All things I had staff for. A housekeeper who came daily. Pack members who rotated kitchen duty. My assistant who handled my files.
But I was making Bryce do them.
Because he'd rejected me. Because he'd fought this for months. Because he'd made me chase him, beg him, change myself to prove I was worthy.
Now it was his turn.
