Chapter 257 - Chapter 257: Taro and the Inseparable Connection with Baboons!

[God's Execution learned successfully!]

The vibration energy Taro triggered using all the pure Internal Energy in his internal organs had just flown out when Mingo's attack arrived in an instant.

The 16 columns of purple-black strings converged at the highest point in the air and then plunged down suddenly, like a spear, piercing straight toward Taro.

"Boom~ Zzzzz!"

The two attacks collided. Taro's vibration energy erupted violently, and a powerful shockwave exploded outward.

"Rumble~"

The air vibrated with a thunderous roar. The low-hanging clouds in the sky were instantly dispersed, and a wild wind rose, uprooting the large trees in the combat area.

The vibration energy contained in the shockwave also scattered the 16 entangled string columns, preventing them from gathering in one place again.

Four of the string columns that faced the vibration energy head-on were blasted directly into the sky.

The remaining string columns scattered into different trajectories and stabbed down.

"Thump, thump, thump, thump!"

Several string columns plunged down. Around Taro, rocks instantly shattered, the ground caved in, and dust filled the air.

A few of the remaining string columns stabbed into the white shield lines transformed from Internal Energy.

"Buzz, buzz, buzz!"

The Internal Energy white shield lines fluctuated violently, continuously canceling out the attack power of the string columns.

In the end, Taro blocked Doflamingo's strongest strike!

"Who on earth are you?"

The fact that his strongest strike still failed to work made Doflamingo's brow furrow tightly and his face contort. His voice was somewhat distorted under extreme rage.

"Why do you have these abilities? This is impossible!"

Taro looked at the somewhat agitated Doflamingo and laughed inwardly, but he kept a serious expression on his face and shook his head slightly.

"The sea is vast. On this ocean, nothing is impossible! Doflamingo!"

The flesh on Doflamingo's face contorted even more, to the point where Taro could hear the sound of his skin tightening.

After a long while, a glimmer of light flashed across Doflamingo's sunglasses.

"I've heard that on the island where Dracule Mihawk, a fellow Warlord of the Sea, resides, there is a magical creature called the 'Humandrill' Baboons, which can instantly learn human abilities!"

"Taro, do you have a connection with those Baboons and 'Hawkeye'?"

Taro's eyes widened instantly. Holy crap, what the hell? Am I now inseparable from those Baboons?

"Doflamingo, you're the Baboon! The battle isn't over, and you haven't won yet. How dare you insult me?" Taro was furious.

Seeing Taro's reaction, Doflamingo became even more convinced of his judgment. His expression suddenly relaxed, and he began to laugh wickedly.

"Fuffuffuffuffu, Taro, our battle isn't over, but haven't you noticed? Listen closely!"

Taro raised an eyebrow. Hearing the faint sounds of rumbling and explosions coming from the center of the island, his heart sank.

Doflamingo has helpers!

Taro was on guard, but he maintained an indifferent attitude on the surface and sneered.

"Heh, Doflamingo, so your previous claim about not needing help from others was just a pretext!"

Doflamingo tilted his head back slightly and spread his arms wide, his face filled with a violent and cruel sneer.

"Fuffuffuffuffu, it's no pretext, Taro. You'll find out soon enough! Fuffuffuffuffu!"

On a hilltop several kilometers away.

The Wanluos Group was already dumbfounded. After a long time, Absalom finally stammered a sentence.

"To... to be able to block such an attack, is Zhou, Taro, even human?"

Moria was also shocked, and a bit bitter, his heart filled with mixed emotions.

He used to be a swordsman as well, but his crushing defeat when challenging Kaido back then had left him disheartened.

Coupled with the power of the Shadow-Shadow Fruit, he completely gave up on the sword and also stopped pursuing the path of strengthening his own abilities.

Instead, he began creating a massive zombie army. However, in the Florian Triangle, Luffy shattered his dream.

Now, Taro's two battles with Edward Weevil and Doflamingo made him realize how ridiculously wrong his thinking had been all these years.

"Sigh, the past is like fleeting clouds!"

Moria, who seemed to be developing into a philosopher, murmured softly.

He waved his hand in front of his eyes and then looked at Wan Luo, saying,

"Little Captain Wan Luo, what is that other battlefield you mentioned? Let's see."

Wan Luo took Wan Shi's hand again. After receiving the energy fluctuations, the girl pressed her index and middle fingers together at the corner of her eye and then waved them in front of her, and a new image appeared.

In the image, an old man holding a sword was being besieged by six people.

The white-haired old man had an unhealthy, sickly pale complexion on his wrinkled, aged face.

He held a uniquely styled bat-handled umbrella sword, wearing a crimson shirt, blood-red trousers, and a large red cloak. Even his eyebrows were tinged with red.

Fighting one against six, he still appeared to handle it with ease, only slightly out of breath.

The six people besieging him were:

A woman in a maid outfit who could transform any part of her body into a weapon.

An explosion man wearing a helmet with a round-lensed mask over his face and a dark blue trench coat.

A perverted man wearing baby clothes with a pacifier in his mouth.

A man with a massive body, cross-shaped hair, a pirate crew mark printed on his teeth, and chains wrapped around his body.

A bald old man wearing reading glasses and striking a 'G' pose.

Finally, a tall man wearing a plaid coat and holding a bamboo stick.

However, compared to the old man in red, these six people looked much more disheveled.

"Captain Moria, who is this old man in red?"

Absalom watched the screen, his eyes full of shock as he asked the question in his heart.

Moria thought carefully for a moment and shook his head. "I don't know either!"

Wan Luo stared at the battlefield for a while and frowned.

"Those people seem to be pirates, right? But isn't that man with the bamboo stick Vergo, the base commander of the Marine G5 Branch? Why are they together?"

"Hee hee hee, those people are the Donquixote Family, subordinates of the Warlord of the Sea Doflamingo. Did you see the pirate crew mark on that man's teeth?"

Speaking of this, Moria leaned against the giant rock, adjusted to a more comfortable position, and leaned back a bit, speaking somewhat mockingly.

"It's... normal for the Marines to occasionally conscript the Warlord of the Sea to do certain things!"

Hearing the latter half of Moria's sentence and thinking of what happened to him during the Marineford War, Wan Luo felt a sense of sympathy and nodded gently.

In the center of the island.

The Donquixote Family's battle was proving to be very difficult.

The massive Buffalo wiped the blood and sweat from his face and shouted in an exaggerated tone:

"Mr. Vergo, who on earth is this old man? Why have I never heard of such a strong man on the sea!"

Vergo deactivated the Armament Haki covering his entire body to save energy, then said in a deep voice:

"Patrick Redfield, the Red Count, also known as 'the solitary red.' He is a great pirate who stood on equal footing with Roger and Whitebeard by his own strength back then!"

"He once single-handedly defeated the then-Fleet Admiral and current Fleet Admiral, Kong!"
