Chapter 180 - Chapter 180: Standing on the Shoulders of Giants!

Taro didn't notice that Robin said "you all" instead of "you." He nodded and affirmed, "That's right!"

Having received an affirmative answer, Robin asked again, "Was this inherited from that great person?"

"Oh? Dragon told you that story!"

Taro raised an eyebrow. Thinking of that great pioneer who founded Zhonghuajia, his voice filled with reverence.

"Yes, but not entirely. Times are always changing, and so are ideas. They need to keep moving forward through exploration and refinement."

"We of the later generations are merely standing on the shoulders of giants."

"Giants?" Robin murmured softly, a name coming to mind.

Haguar D. Sauro!

Twenty years ago, he was the giant who released her mother, Olvia, attempted to save Ohara, and ultimately gave his life to save her.

As she thought about it, Robin's eyes gradually grew moist.

Beside her, Taro, who was reminiscing about the glorious years of the pioneers, was stunned.

What is wrong with all of you? How do you get all wet just from talking!

It was the same with Betty last time; she got all worked up right then and there!

No way, is Robin's Devil Fruit Ability about to undergo Awakening too?

It shouldn't be. In his memory, Robin's Devil Fruit development was quite average.

It wouldn't be until two years later that her Clones could reach over ten thousand; only then would talking about Awakening make sense!

"Hey, are you okay?" Taro asked with some concern.

"Dereshishishi, dereshishishi!" Robin suddenly began to laugh in a very strange manner.

Taro was instantly dumbfounded. Had he driven her crazy with his words?

"I'm fine!"

After laughing for a while, Robin stopped, though her gaze toward Taro now held a trace of an inexplicable emotion.

"What was that great person's name?"

Uh, his name can't be spoken casually; it's easy to get banned!

Taro frowned, thinking for a long time before remaining silent.

"Is that so? I really wish I could meet him!" Robin sighed with a hint of disappointment.

Afterward, she returned to her usual calm demeanor, resting her chin on her right arm and staring quietly at Taro without saying another word.

I suggest you'd better not think that; Transmigration to that world would probably be quite difficult.

Besides, the "him" you want to meet is in a somewhat special situation right now!

For a moment, Taro's eyes looked strange as his mind wandered.

Robin kept staring at Taro. Because of his wandering thoughts, Taro felt a bit guilty and avoided her gaze. After a long time, he spoke softly.

"You don't have any other questions, do you? Um... actually, I also have something I want to tell you."

Robin had been watching Taro, and hearing this, she said with interest, "Oh? Tell me!"

Eh? She seems to be in a good mood? This is so sudden!

"Cough, it's like this. Because of some misunderstandings, Vice Admiral Garp—oh, that's Luffy's grandfather—mistakenly thinks that you and I..."

Taro bit the bullet and told Robin about the misunderstanding regarding "clandestine pregnancy and being with child."

After Robin finished listening, she wasn't angry, nor was she even very surprised. She still had that calm and breezy look on her face.

"And you? How do you want to solve this now?"

As she spoke, the corners of her mouth curled up slightly, revealing a hint of a mischievous smile. "Shall we make the fake real? Calculating the time, there's indeed enough!"

"Make the fake real? Enough time?"

Taro was stunned for a moment, then instantly reacted. He jumped back a bit in surprise, his eyes wide.

Holy crap, older sister figure, are you joking or being serious?

My heart is beating really fast right now! I'll take it seriously, I'm telling you!

Seeing Taro's reaction, Robin's smile became even more apparent. "Want to try?"

"Cough, cough!" Taro imagined that "warning" scene, swallowed hard several times, and then choked, coughing out loud.

Then, he saw the playful smile on Robin's face and understood immediately!

You little girl, you dare to tease this master!

"Bring it on, let's try then!" Taro let out a roar and reached his hand out toward Robin.

Anyway, Luffy and the others aren't here; his Protagonist Halo can't protect you!

And there's no way I'd kick the bucket just from trying!

"Hehehehe," Robin leaned back half a step, dodging Taro's wandering hand. She lightly covered her red lips with her right hand and laughed.

"The answer was too slow. The offer has expired!"

Taro gave her a resentful glare. "Then ask me again!"

Robin laughed even more wantonly. "That won't do. I'm only asking once today!"

"Then tomorrow?" Taro knew he had been played and put on a huffy expression.

"Then I'll have to give it some serious thought!" Robin held back her laughter and put on an expression of deep contemplation.

Taro wasn't actually angry. Seeing this, he laughed along. "Fine, then think about it well. I'll wait for you to ask next time!"

Under the blue sky and white clouds, with a gentle breeze on his face and a beauty by his side, Taro lay back down. Pillowing his head on his hands, he closed his eyes with a smile on his lips.

Ah! This life is truly comfortable!

"Luffy and the others are all training in various places, working hard to get stronger. You should also stay with the Revolutionary Army with peace of mind!" Taro said softly.

"Mhm!" Robin nodded slightly, giving a soft hum of agreement, then picked up her sketchbook and began to draw.

Listening to the rustling sound of the pencil tip gliding across the paper, Taro gradually drifted off to sleep.

As dusk approached, having had a wonderful sleep, the fatigue brought by the journey was swept away.

Taro yawned, stretched his arms, and sat up.

"Oh, you're still here?"

Robin was still there, though she had moved to sit on a reef closer to the shore.

Hearing Taro's movement, she turned her head.

"Koala was here just now. Dinner time is almost here!"

Upon hearing that, Taro perked up. In the whole world, eating is the most important thing. With a flip, he stood up from the reef.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go, time to chow down!"

Taro's excited expression instantly reminded Robin of Luffy. With a face full of smiles, she stood up to follow.

The two of them soon returned to the Revolutionary Army headquarters.

Second-floor meeting room.

"How was it?" Dragon asked a question without context.

Robin, sitting opposite him, naturally understood what Dragon was asking. She shook her head. "I didn't ask about the Giant Kingdom!"

Dragon appeared quite surprised. "Then..."

"However, Taro is indeed a descendant of that Giant Kingdom. This is exactly as you suspected!"

As Robin spoke, she nodded heavily as if to confirm her own thoughts. "And he is a very key figure!"

Dragon's suspicion was confirmed, and he couldn't hide the surprise in his heart. "What did you find out?"

"Democracy!" Robin solemnly uttered the word. "This is the core of their ideology!"

As Robin spoke, Dragon's expression gradually became solemn. Finally, he gave a sigh.

"Dream, Dawn, Destiny... and now Democracy has appeared?"

Robin's brow furrowed slightly in confusion. "You are also of the D. Clan. Your Legacy...?"
