Chapter 197 - Chapter 110: Two Great Lords Reunite

In a void, Alaya was taking Adam to contract powerful individuals across various timelines. After contracting a rather satisfactory powerful individual in one world, and just as she was about to leave to continue searching for Zeus while contracting more powerful individuals, she sensed the appearance of an enraged great lord. Alaya's expression instantly darkened.

"Adam."

"Hmm? What is it?"

Adam, who was humming a little tune, heard her annoying Father God calling her. She had no choice but to stop humming and turn to ask.

"In a moment, a very ill-tempered old lady will come over. I might even have to fight her. You should go hide in other worlds first!"

Casually summoning a spatial gate, Alaya, unlike Gaia's hands-off policy, still carefully comforted her and explained the reason. Adam looked at her Father God with disdain; she herself was an old lady, yet she was talking about others.

But no matter what, Adam still slowly walked into the spatial gate as arranged by her Father God. The moment the spatial gate closed, she heard a furious roar. Startled by the roar, Adam felt completely unwell. That bastard Father God was really right; this person might truly have a bad temper.

"A-la-ya!"

"Oh, isn't that Big Sister? I'm so happy to see you so healthy (Why don't you just die?!)"

Alaya, cursing internally, displayed a calm smile on the surface. She hadn't been bothered by this person recently. Every time they met, they would have a fight before this person would finally calm down.

"Put away that disgusting smile! You know why I'm here."

Gaia looked at this fox-like, black-bellied person with disdain. Even if she were beaten to death, she wouldn't believe this guy would speak any great truth. But she now had to force her to tell the truth, as it concerned her search for her beloved.

"Tch! I've said it many times, I don't know where that cute little white cat went. Just give up! Who told you to hold on too tightly? With your unique possessiveness, who could stand it? She was scared away by you long ago."

Alaya put away the smile on her face and spoke with a calm tone tinged with sarcasm.

"Since you still won't say, then let's continue!"

Regarding Alaya's words, Gaia could not deny them. To love her was to imprison her by her side, to protect her from harm from others, to let her only see herself, to only hear her own voice. If anyone else had contact with her, even just speaking, Gaia's heart would go mad with jealousy. No matter what, if she found Zeus this time, Gaia decided to first break her beautiful, slender legs, so she could never escape her grasp again.

"I knew you would say that. There's nothing to talk about with you anyway. After all, our ideas are different. Your attitude towards her is too forceful. That love and possessiveness intertwined will kill her."

Divine power surged throughout her body. Alaya looked at the increasingly obvious black aura on Gaia's body and frowned. Why was this thing getting thicker? Last time it was just like a faint black smoke, but now it was twice as thick as before.

"Die, Alaya! Tell me Zeus's whereabouts, and perhaps I'll spare your life."

Raising her left hand, heavy with divine power, a red hint of killing intent flashed in Gaia's eyes. She coldly declared her intentions to Alaya.

"Hmph! If you can do it, then come! Even if I die, I won't tell you Zeus's whereabouts. Your love is too extreme; I won't let you harm a single hair on her head."

Alaya, not to be outdone, ignited her faith. The entire space was instantly dyed a light gold by the golden flames, her aura not losing an inch to Gaia's.

"I hope you'll still be so stubborn later!"

Gaia looked at Alaya with an unfriendly expression, the black aura on her body growing even denser, slowly suppressing Alaya's aura.

How could it be this thing! Alaya appeared very calm on the surface, but she now clearly guessed what the true nature of the black aura on Gaia's body was.

"I didn't expect you, Gaia, to have touched the power of the Abyss. Are you mad?"

Alaya was startled by Gaia's madness. This thing was woven from the negative emotions of countless conscious entities, practically a conglomerate of negativity.

"I am inherently born from and with the Abyss, emerging from Chaos. Of course, I can control it."

Gaia, scoffing at Alaya's words, began to gather black energy in her hand.

No wonder I felt the aura of the Evil of this World, but it seems I was mistaken. This is countless times more powerful than the Evil of this World. The Evil of this World is merely human malice, while this power, called the Abyss, encompasses all negative emotions of all conscious beings—anything that can simply think and move, from plankton to gods. All their negative emotions are contained within the Abyss. Such negative power is not something small like the Evil of this World can compare to. It seems the problem has become huge.

No wonder I felt that malevolent aura when I was secretly watching Zeus. At the time, I naively thought it was the Evil of this World infecting Gaia. Now it seems I was terribly wrong. If I'm not careful, even I, at the peak of the Tenth Sense, could be eroded and fall.

Now it seems the reason for Gaia's drastic change in temperament has been found. It's just that her affinity with the Abyss is relatively high, and she hasn't been eroded. Now it's just a mental problem, and the problem has become huge.

Before Alaya could recover from her daze, Gaia's attack had already arrived.

"Die!"

A great battle was on the verge of breaking out, and the entire space began to shake and collapse.

On the other side, Kurumi, due to Sera's absence, reluctantly arrived at the police station to pick someone up. Who? Of course, it was our zombie and magical girl, Ayumi! Because Ellie El couldn't wait for her return, Haruna took it upon herself to repair Mistilteinn. However, she forgot to put some parts back in. And Ayumi, who forcibly transformed with such a Mistilteinn, had all her clothes disappear after the final battle, on the school playground.

Yep! Just like that, she was arrested as a hentai. So now Kurumi has to bail her out.

"Don't do that again in the future."

"I'm truly sorry."

"Alas! Young people nowadays! Why learn to be a hentai when you could be a good person?"

At this moment, Ayumi walked out of the police station, tears welling in her eyes, under the helpless gaze of the uncle.

"Waaah! Waaah! Gaia! Is this the trial you've given me?"

As she walked, Ayumi knelt on the ground and burst into tears.

"Mommy, look at that big sister."

"Don't look, mental illness is contagious."

The mother beside her quickly hugged her daughter and ran away, but the mother's words made Ayumi cry even harder.

Feeling a warm hand caress her head, Ayumi, with tears and snot, looked at the person in front of her.

"There, there, stop crying. It's time to go home."

Looking at Kurumi, who was radiating full goddess power, Ayumi, like a child, nodded blankly and followed Kurumi home.
