Chapter 149 - Chapter 62: Little Mo and Zeus’s First Encounter

Time is an unceasing traveler; it comes and goes in haste. In the blink of an eye, five years have passed since Zeus arrived here. In these five years, Leah has fought battles and suppressed various uprisings, finally stabilizing the overall situation. However, her selfless, almost heartless nature, sowed the seeds of Great Britain's destruction. Zeus saw it but had no power to change it. She was barely managing with her child now; as for Leah, that big child, let her reap the bitter fruit of her own actions!

Now, Zeus's abdomen has slowly returned to the state it was in when she first arrived in this world, but the child still feels a bit 'malnourished' due to the lack of divine power. At the time of sealing this space, Zeus's primordial power was almost completely drained. She hadn't expected the child to actually feed divine power back to Zeus, and then the child shrank. Zeus could only feel a pang of heartache, but there was nothing she could do; who made her, Zeus, so exceptionally unlucky?

"Empress, are you really not going to tell the King about your pregnancy?"

Because Zeus rarely went out and usually wore loose, robe-style clothing, almost no one knew that Zeus had been heavily pregnant for a long time. Only Nasha, who served Zeus daily, knew. Nasha was not a talkative person, and she didn't believe Zeus would do anything to betray Leah. Leah and Zeus were also mostly separated, and even when they were together, due to their agreement that Zeus 'doesn't understand love and doesn't need to share a bed with her,' they were only nominally husband and wife.

"No, let her guess!"

Looking at Nasha, whose eyes held a deep thoughtfulness, Zeus said to Nasha with a peculiar expression. If Leah knew about the seed within her, it would definitely be a 'surprise'—more likely a shock, with no joy at all.

"But if you do this, I'm sorry, I overstepped."

Nasha looked at the unconcerned Zeus, somewhat anxiously trying to say something, then gave up.

Actually, Zeus knew what she wanted to say. The seemingly peaceful Great Britain now actually had people who were dissatisfied with Leah's rule—the nobles. During Leah's reign, they could only behave cautiously, no longer daring to be as extravagant and luxurious as before. But Leah was their King, and they dared not cause trouble. Moreover, Leah's martial prowess played a very important role here. However, they had not stopped making small moves in private. Unfortunately, these small moves seemed childish to Zeus, so Zeus messed them all up, and no one dared to jump around anymore.

But there's a good saying, 'Where there is oppression, there is resistance.' Don't think they are all as obedient as a Golden Retriever now; who knows what bad ideas they are cooking up in their hearts?

These circumstances made Nasha very anxious, truly fearing that they might attack Her Majesty the Empress if pushed too far.

"Don't worry, Nasha, nothing will happen."

Looking at the worried Nasha, Zeus gently stroked her head and then went to the open space in the garden to meditate. This was now Zeus's primary method for recovering divine power and nurturing her child. Although her lightning still absorbed divine power every day, Zeus knew this was just a drop in the bucket. When the child was born, she feared it would directly drain half of her life.

"Since you're here, come out and meet me!"

Zeus, alone in the garden, suddenly spoke to a tree nearby. She had noticed a harmonious presence as soon as she arrived, and that familiar feeling was the spatial trace of a Transmigrator. This thing was engraved on the soul; almost no one could remove it.

Indeed, a familiar yet unfamiliar figure emerged from behind the tree. This person was Liang, and she was holding the hand of a cute blonde little girl. However, this girl looked very much like Leah, almost eighty percent similar. At this moment, the little girl was curiously biting her finger and looking at Zeus.

"I didn't expect to see you after five years, and you even have a daughter, Liang."

Zeus, who saw through the girl's identity at a glance, remained calm and teased Liang.

"You are still as beautiful and lovely, but you are mistaken. This is not my daughter, but the product of that sanctimonious affair."

At this point, Liang's face held a malicious smile. Her main goal now was to make 'Guinevere' believe that King Arthur had cheated, and with her sister no less. With these accusations piled on, King Arthur's reputation would probably be quite tarnished 'in front of Vier'!

So Liang began to exaggerate, fabricating all sorts of Leah's 'scandals' in front of Zeus, much like an internet keyboard warrior from Zeus's previous life, completely bewildering the 'unaware' Zeus. She had no idea Leah was so bad!

"So, for your own sake, you should divorce that sanctimonious fellow!"

When they met, Liang didn't mind continuing to poach, but she didn't know that her actions, besides amusing Zeus, had no other effect. She could not leave for even half a step until her role as 'Guinevere' was completely fulfilled. Once history was distorted, the power of destiny would automatically begin to repair it, and Gaia would also sense the anomaly.

"I can't, Liang. After all, we've been married for so long. There are some gaps between husband and wife, but these are not major problems."

Zeus tactfully refused Liang's attempt to poach, and offered some comforting words while Liang looked disappointed.

"No matter what, this child also has royal blood. You should raise her! This child's name is Mordred. Finally, I will definitely come back to see you."

Liang shook her head, temporarily suppressing her disappointment, and handed Mordred to Zeus. She then turned and left, but there was a hint of sadness in her retreating figure. Watching Liang's departing back, Zeus was a little puzzled as to why there was a familiar feeling about this person. No, it should be said that there was a familiar power swirling around her. She hoped that she herself would be fine. Thinking this, Zeus looked at Mordred, who was curiously examining her.

"Let's go eat something good!"

"Okay"

Zeus, who had never raised a child, could only use the same method she used on Leah to deal with Mordred. After all, she was someone who inherited the 'King's stomach'!

In another world, Hades listened to her subordinate's report with a gloomy face.

"You said she's too strong? You couldn't even catch a child who hasn't even grown her hair out?"

Looking at the Underworld Warriors she had personally selected, one after another, she couldn't believe they couldn't even catch a little blonde girl. This made Hades wonder if she had chosen the wrong people.

"We apologize, Your Majesty. We are willing to accept punishment, but that child is indeed extraordinary."

Although they had failed, they were warriors and dared to admit defeat, but she still felt it appropriate to convey the opponent's combat strength to her monarch.

"Oh! This is interesting. A child actually defeated my brave and skilled warriors, and you say she is very strong. How strong exactly?"

Hades narrowed her beautiful blue eyes, looking at the Underworld Warriors kneeling on the ground, and asked.

"No, Your Majesty, the Divine Artifact on that child made us powerless to fight back. The power of that Divine Artifact was almost on par with Your Majesty's 'Underworld King's Sword'."

"What is that child's name?"

Hades asked her question expressionlessly, her mind a bit chaotic.

"She said her name is 'Pallas Athena'."

"You may leave first!"

After hearing that name, Hades was silent for a moment, then waved her hand to dismiss the Underworld Warriors. She didn't mention any punishment. Once the hall was empty except for her, she slowly walked to the back of the temple. She needed to ask 'that one'.
