"What's wrong?" Kuesumi asked, looking at Kurumi who had suddenly stopped.
"Oh~ my! It's that old friend again, she extinguished another one of my clones. She truly has deep feelings for me! My dear, aren't you jealous that such a lovable girl like me, who attracts pity, is being 'madly pursued' and relentlessly chased by another girl? I abandoned her and have been with you all this time, aren't you touched?"
Kurumi ambiguously leaned close to Kuesumi's ear and said, the atmosphere between them instantly turning extremely pink. A passing girl was so stimulated that she was shedding 'happy' liquid, collapsing on the road.
"I wouldn't dare, I wouldn't dare." Kuesumi looked at the short gun pressed against her slender waist, indicating that this yandere was beyond saving.
"Really, my dear, can't you be a little more surprised?"
Staring at Kuesumi's face for a long time, not getting the expression she wanted, Kurumi put away her gun and pouted, saying unhappily.
Kuesumi ignored Kurumi's complaints and took a necklace from the shelf.
"This is for you!"
Taking off the silver-white necklace, Kuesumi directly placed it on Kurumi's slender, snowy neck. It suited her quite well!
"Thank you, my dear." Kurumi touched the necklace, her face slightly red as she thanked Kuesumi.
"No need to thank me. What are you planning to do now? Do you need me to deal with your old friend?"
Kuesumi pulled Kurumi to a restaurant, ordered some dim sum, and then asked Kurumi.
"My dear doesn't need to intervene yet. I'll go myself tomorrow and definitely take her down."
Kurumi said confidently, but she accidentally jinxed herself.
"Alright! If you need help, I'll provide it."
Kuesumi took a sip of coffee and gave Kurumi some instructions. It seemed she needed to prepare for tomorrow, otherwise, Kurumi might not be able to handle this jinx.
After they finished eating, the two continued to stroll, openly displaying their affection. They made the single people around them feel like they were about to vomit blood.
Meanwhile, Shiori, healed by Tohka, began to solidify her beliefs. She was determined to capture Kurumi. For her, who had just become a girl, accepting her current identity so quickly was inextricably linked to her mission to seal the Spirits. If it weren't for the impending capture, she wouldn't have integrated into her current identity so fast.
The next day.
After Kurumi left, Kuesumi began to study the other powers within her body. In her deliberate search, Kuesumi finally discovered other Spirit powers hidden within the Spirit Core. However, they had not yet been activated and were in a dormant state. Apart from Kurumi's Spirit power, which was already active, Kuesumi temporarily had no plans to activate the other nine Spirit powers so quickly. These Spirit powers actually all had a will sleeping within them.
The Cherubim System is a type of intelligence triggered when multiple Spirit powers converge. When triggered, the personality of the Cherubim System will descend, and that personality's name is 'Mayuri'. A very cute child, and also a very tragic child. From birth to disappearance, less than a week had passed. She hadn't even had a chance to enjoy herself before she had to disappear.
Kuesumi was now thinking of a way to allow this child to survive permanently.
Regarding this cute child, Kuesumi planned to help as much as she could, but she felt even more dissatisfied with Shiori. When Mayuri disappeared, what else could she do besides cry a few times? She didn't have the skill for the task, and in the end, it only added to the sorrow.
Thinking of this, Kuesumi began to carefully nurture the Spirit power within the Spirit Core. Like caring for a child, she sang to them. Unexpectedly, the Spirit power actually responded to Kuesumi. The use of Spirit power became increasingly smooth.
While Kuesumi was researching and nurturing the power in her body, she also kept part of her attention on Kurumi.
Woo~~~, a huge air raid siren blared. Kuesumi stopped her exploration of Spirit power, walked out of her residence, and flew in the direction of Raizen High School.
"Kurumi, please don't do that, okay?" Shiori said helplessly.
"Cute Shiori-san, wouldn't it be nice to just merge with me?" Kurumi said with a deranged smile, inviting Shiori. Origami, Tohka, and Mana, who were protecting Shiori, were all currently pinned to the ground and being rubbed by Kurumi.
"You just want me, right? Don't hurt anyone else." Shiori said nervously.
"While I do need you, can you please take back that sentence? Take back the words, 'I will save all you Spirits, including you, Tokisaki Kurumi,' otherwise, a Spacequake will descend right here!" Kurumi said firmly in her heart. She wasn't the clone from the original story and wouldn't be fooled by Shiori's words. But these words made her very unhappy, and she felt it was necessary to make Shiori retract her ignorant statement.
"Well~~, never mind. It seems you won't learn until you experience pain."
Kurumi looked at the silent Shiori and sighed inwardly. She hadn't intended to kill so many people, but Shiori's hypocritical words had enraged her. Since that was the case, she would make Shiori realize how false her words were! Thinking of this, Kurumi, in Shiori's despairing gaze, raised her hand to the sky and used her Spirit power to trigger a Spacequake.
"What~, engrave this unforgettable despair deeply into your soul, Shiori-san."
"No, stop it!"
As Kurumi spoke, a huge black sphere appeared in the sky, enveloping the entire school! Suddenly, another power appeared and dispelled the Spacequake.
"Who?"
Kurumi looked at the figure enveloped in flames in the sky, and a great battle was about to erupt.
"Am I going to die, my dear?"
The two fought for less than ten minutes before Kurumi, lacking sufficient power, was brutally beaten by Kotori. Kurumi looked at the approaching cannon fire and closed her eyes in despair.
"Clang~~" A huge collision sound rang out, and the entire rooftop was enveloped in smoke.
"This is… I'm not dead." Kurumi was startled awake by the loud noise and looked at her hand. Then, she noticed the familiar dark figure standing in front of her.
"Finally, you still came." Kurumi smiled silently, so happily. Tears flowed down her beautiful face like broken pearls. She was no longer fighting alone.
"What a crybaby." Kuesumi walked up to Kurumi, stroked her small head, and comforted her.
"Kurumi, Kotori, stop fighting!" At this moment, Shiori finally came to her senses, looking worriedly at her sister and the smoke-shrouded area.
"..." Kotori didn't answer. Having just come to her senses, she was suppressing her inner violent emotions.
When the smoke cleared, two figures were revealed, causing Kotori a headache. One Tokisaki Kurumi was already enough; she didn't expect another to appear.
"Thor, what are you doing here?"
