Chapter 92 - Working on Jujutsu Kaisen

As everyone knows, although Jujutsu High occupies a vast area, the number of students is extremely sparse. Even if the teachers are included, the scale isn't even as large as a cram school outside.

Precisely because of this, Eriri and Utaha were given a place where they could engage in their creative work.

After all, when they were asked to join Jujutsu High, it was promised that their normal lives would not be interfered with.

On the door of the activity room hung a hand-drawn notice board. The art style was exquisite, but it carried an aura of "Authorized Personnel Only."

Written in ornate script was: "Creation in progress, intruders will be cursed!"

It was signed with a small, blonde twin-tailed chibi avatar.

Inside, two wide drawing tables were placed side-by-side, covered with various types of drawing pens, markers, digital tablets, stacks of manga manuscript paper, storyboard sketches, and a large number of notebooks filled with settings and dialogue.

The walls were covered with character setting sheets, scene concept sketches, and intricate timeline diagrams.

On one side of the bookshelf, besides a few volumes of basic curse theory, there were mostly various manga periodicals, light novels, movie storyboards, and art setting collections.

Utaha was sitting at a desk, her laptop screen emitting a cold white light that reflected off her focused and slightly weary profile.

Her fingers tapped rapidly on the keyboard, and the words on the document page poured out like flowing water, it was the script for Jujutsu Kaisen.

On an open notebook beside her, details about "Domain Expansion," "Cursed Energy characteristics," and "Research on ancient Jujutsu Sorcerer clothing" were densely recorded in elegant and rigorous handwriting.

On the other side, Eriri had tied up her signature twin tails and was wearing a pair of blue-light blocking glasses. She was practically hunched over her digital tablet, sketching the line art with complete concentration.

Countless discarded sketches were scattered by her hand. From time to time, she would stop her pen to compare with a color card book or look through photos of the Jujutsu High training grounds, barriers, and even some non-confidential curse materials on her phone for reference.

"Here, for the information flood of Unlimited Void, would it be better to use this kind of distorted storyboard where data streams shatter and then reassemble?"

Utaha asked without looking up, turning the screen toward Eriri, showing dense text descriptions and simple storyboard diagrams.

Eriri leaned over to take a look, adjusted her glasses, and her eyes sparkled with professional insight. "Hmm... the text description feels right, but for visualization, a pure data stream might be a bit monotonous."

"Could we try combining some abstract consciousness fragments, memory flashbacks, and collapsing geometric shapes symbolizing 'Cognitive Overload'?"

"I'll draw a few sketches for you to see."

As she spoke, Eriri immediately pulled out a piece of scrap paper and, with a few quick strokes, outlined several high-impact visual concepts.

As Sukuna's contract partner, Eriri had gained physical enhancements beyond those of an ordinary person, which boosted her manga creation ability.

Specifically, it manifested in the fact that Eriri could work like crazy for three days and nights without dying.

At the same time, her precision with a drawing pen far exceeded what it was before. Her art skills and storyboarding had made immense progress.

Combined with Utaha's script polishing and the endorsement of a super-popular light novel author, it was enough to make people look forward to the narrative parts of this manga.

The two discussed professional issues, sometimes arguing and sometimes reaching an agreement, completely immersed in the world of creation.

It was as if they had temporarily forgotten the dangers of daytime training and the pressure brought by the Jujutsu World.

Click.

The door to the activity room was gently pushed open a crack. A head with short orange hair and a curious expression peeked in—it was Nobara Kugisaki.

She had just finished her evening self-training and, passing by, noticed the lights were still on. Seeing that "curse" notice on the door, she had slipped in out of curiosity.

Then, she saw this completely unexpected scene.

"Whoa..."

Nobara blinked, her mouth slightly agape, making no effort to hide the surprise on her face.

She walked into the activity room, her gaze sweeping over the walls of setting sheets, the mountain of manuscripts, and the two figures buried in their work—one clicking away on a keyboard, the other scratching away with a pen.

This atmosphere, this setup...

No matter how you looked at it, it seemed like a manga studio or a light novel author's study. It had absolutely nothing to do with a place like Jujutsu High.

"What are you guys... doing?"

Nobara walked up behind Eriri, looking at the Sukuna line art on her tablet—detailed down to the hair and full of tension—then at the dense script on Utaha's screen, her expression becoming even more peculiar.

"Drawing manga? Writing novels? Here? At Jujutsu High?"

Eriri was startled by the sudden voice. Her hand slipped, and the digital pen drew an extra line across the screen.

"Ah! Kugisaki-san? Why did you come in?"

She scrambled to cover the screen, but it was already too late.

Utaha also stopped typing and looked up, her eyes calmly meeting Nobara's, seemingly unsurprised by her intrusion.

"As you can see, we are engaged in some... literary and artistic creation." Her tone carried a hint of faint helplessness.

After all, this was bound to be discovered by the other students sooner or later.

Nobara put her hands on her hips and circled the two workstations like she was visiting a novel tourist attraction, making clicking sounds of admiration.

"Literary and artistic creation... doing creative work at Jujutsu High... My god, that's actually so cool."

Having longed for Tokyo life since she was a child, Nobara showed great admiration for the fact that peers from the big city could create their own works.

She thought of the peers in her hometown. They were either helping out with family chores early on or idling around all day. The slightly more ambitious ones just studied hard to get into a local university.

People like this, who were adept in both the pen and the sword and showed amazing talent and initiative in completely different fields, were rare.

"Is this what top students in Tokyo are like? So multi-talented."

She stopped by the wall, pointed at a setting sheet, and turned to look at the two of them with an exaggerated expression.

"Do you know what kind of place this is? The Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College."

"A place for training Jujutsu Sorcerers, exorcising curses, and risking your life against all sorts of disgusting things."

Nobara was right. Nine out of ten students here were problem children who got into fights, had eccentric personalities, and hadn't received many days of proper school education since childhood.

The remaining one might be a brooding type like Megumi or a single-celled hothead like Yuji.
