It was a massive humanoid creature, resembling a gargoyle that had undergone a "benevolent conversion."
Its body was forged from pure white Petricite, topped with a giant golden stone crown, and behind it grew a pair of golden stone wings that blotted out the sun. The surface of the material flowed with a texture as hard and cold as marble.
That well-defined, resolute face was lowered.
Eyes emitting a platinum shimmer were looking down from above at the green Beast beneath its feet.
The one descending from the heavens was none other than the guardian deity of Demacia, the Colossus of Justice—Galio.
Surname: Justice, Given Name: Righteousness, Courtesy Name: Galio.
That's right, it was the "One-Hour Daily Summoning Privilege" that Su Modie had painfully spent 5,000 simulation value to purchase.
If one were to ask whose strength, or rather weight, was not inferior to Hulk's, Su Modie could only think of this big guy at the moment.
Among others at the same 5,000 price point, none had Galio's tonnage.
Especially that Typhoon Devil; if it were summoned, Hulk would probably pull its guts out all over the place.
Meanwhile, on the Helicarrier, Fury stared at the colossal object that had suddenly fallen from the sky on the screen, his single eye bulging wide.
"What on earth is this thing now? Reinforcements for those aliens?"
Fury speculated; after all, the Leviathan Beast had left quite a shadow on him.
Hill silently rolled her eyes and said faintly, "Doesn't look like it... their styles are very different..."
Above the battlefield, Iron Man slammed on the brakes, hovering in mid-air.
"Jarvis, zoom in on the image."
A close-up cut onto the helmet's panel, and Jarvis's electronic voice followed.
"Sir, preliminary scans show the target's composition..."
Jarvis fell silent for a few seconds, seemingly unable to analyze what the thing was.
Ultimately, he could only guess: "It is some kind of stone of unknown composition."
"What? Stone?"
Tony was speechless.
He thought it would be some kind of high-tech like that Leviathan Beast, but...
Stone?
Why would stone move?
Not far away on the city blocks, Captain America's expression had become somewhat numb.
The battle had long since exceeded the understanding of this hundred-year-old man.
Steve sighed and simply turned to call out to Hawkeye and Natasha beside him.
"Stop staring, quickly organize the civilians and get as far away from here as possible!"
Clearly, Steve didn't know where this "creature" that fell from the sky came from.
But he knew that when gods fight, mortals suffer.
Once these two giant monsters engaged in an unrestrained brawl on the streets of Manhattan, the scope of the impact would be catastrophic.
In the center of the ruins, Galio slowly turned that heavy head, the Petricite rubbing together to create a dull, rumbling sound.
He first looked down at Hulk, who was baring his teeth at his feet.
Then his gaze moved, falling upon Lux, who was sitting slumped to the side, covered in dust and scars.
Lux's Perspective
The Colossus's eyes flickered.
"Glowing little person."
Galio spoke; his voice wasn't the vibration of fleshy vocal cords, but rather like a gale blowing out of a vast ancient valley, deafening.
"How are you... injured?"
Hearing this bell-like concern, Lux, sitting on the ground, was stunned for a second. Then her lips quivered, her eyes reddened instantly, and two lines of clear tears slid down her dust-covered cheeks, looking as aggrieved as could be.
"He hit me!" Lux stretched out a finger, pointing tremulously at the fierce-looking Hulk nearby, adding fuel to the fire with a crying tone. "This big green monster ran over and beat me up without a word, and even wanted to kill me!"
As soon as this exaggeratedly tearful complaint came out, the golden light in Galio's eyes suddenly surged.
As the guardian colossus of Demacia, protecting the weak and upholding justice was an instinct almost etched into the runes that constructed his body—not to mention, Lux was his only good friend.
The Colossus's temper flared up instantly.
He realigned that majestic stone-carved face toward Hulk.
Solemn Appearance (Did you notice? Actually, Galio is bald...)
His broad chest puffed out, and the wings on his back spread open, obscuring the sunlight over this city block.
Even on the brink of rage, Galio's opening remarks maintained his unique... inexplicable politeness.
"Hello there, little green thing..."
Galio's voice rolled like thunder over the city, "I'm going to smash you flat!"
What a perfect example of courtesy before force.
Hulk was already fuming from being ganged up on, and hearing that "little green thing" now made him feel his dignity was being trampled.
Who the hell is a little green thing?!
To everyone else, he was the Hulk; how did he become a little green thing to you?!
Hulk's eyes became bloodshot, his muscles swelled at an exaggerated rate, and the road surface beneath his feet cracked extensively under his weight.
He opened his bloody maw, an earth-shattering roar squeezing out of his chest. His leg muscles tensed as he prepared to burst forth and show this arrogant stone head some color.
"Roar—ugh!"
However, the roar had only made it halfway out of his throat when it came to an abrupt halt.
Because Galio didn't give him any chance to build up power for a jump.
The Colossus simply and crudely raised his right arm.
Three thick Petricite fingers clenched into a solid stone fist the size of two trucks, carrying terrifying wind pressure.
From top to bottom, it slammed thunderously onto Hulk's face.
BOOM—!
The dull impact sound made one's heart skip a beat.
Hulk didn't have time to raise his arms to block; his whole person was like a large steel nail hit by a sledgehammer. Accompanied by an earth-shaking crash, he was punched straight into the asphalt of Manhattan by Galio, so deep he couldn't be pried out.
Having landed a hit, Galio naturally had no intention of stopping.
Despite his talk of justice, this big guy loved fighting and had entered a state of excitement as soon as the battle began.
His mountain-like body straddled the edge of the crater, his right fist constantly retracting and slamming down.
Over and over, the movements were simple and crude.
"For the glowing little person!"
Galio's thunderous voice echoed over the city as a fist crashed down.
"And for justice!"
Another fist followed immediately, once again causing a violent earth-shaking.
Every time Galio slammed down a fist, he shouted "Justice" with full vigor and clear articulation.
Bang!
"Justice!"
Thump!
"Justice!"
Boom!
"Justice!"
Hulk in the pit was beaten senseless by this succession of "Justice," his nose bleeding wildly.
With his violent temper, he naturally tried desperately to resist.
But every time he roared and propped himself up slightly from the bottom of the pit, he would be hammered back into the dirt by the next "Justice."
Though both were colossal, Galio was completely different from the Female Titan that Annie transformed into.
Galio was not only more than twice as large as Annie after she drank the Colossal Titan Spinal Fluid, but his weight was also worlds apart—the Female Titan's muscle tissue was actually very light and fragile so it could rapidly proliferate and evaporate.
But Galio was forged from solid Petricite; he was completely solid!
An absolute weight of tens of thousands of tons!
Just sitting on Hulk would pin him down so he couldn't move.
Seeing this scene from a distance, Su Modie's eyes suddenly lit up.
Great opportunity!
"Perona! Quick! Now's the time!"
Su Modie shouted. As the saying goes, strike while the iron is hot—the same goes for striking Hulk. Galio's force was just right, dazing him without damaging the brain. Now that Hulk was hammered into a daze, it was the perfect time to release the Negative Ghost; they absolutely couldn't wait for Hulk to come to his senses!
