Suddenly, a monster emerged from the bottom of the lake and rose to the surface. Ellen swallowed nervously as she pulled out a pistol from her coat pocket. She was so shocked that she couldn't think clearly, and her legs felt numb. The dragon-like monster immediately attacked with its tail. Ellen glared at the monster, gripping the pistol tightly.

Luckily, Flint shot the dragon's tail just in time. Seeing his beloved woman continue to close her eyes while pointing the gun at the dragon, he immediately grabbed her hand to calm her down.
"Ellen, are you okay?"
Ellen opened her eyes slowly and nodded. "Thank you for saving me, Flint."
"You can thank me later." Flint pointed his gun again at the water dragon that was about to attack them again. "Stay behind me."
"Let me help you too."
Flint laughed mockingly. "You were the one who was scared earlier."
"I'm not a coward, but–"
