As far as Flint could remember, Kevin did have an only child, though he had never met her. However, was Ellen really Kevin's only daughter? He had been searching for the identity of his daughter, Kevin, to uncover the truth about his past. The question now was, was Ellen never telling him anything? Was it because she was still traumatized by her past, or was she not Kevin's only daughter?
Seeing that his uncle knew nothing about Ellen, Flint didn't want to push his uncle to think more critically. He was worried that his uncle's assumptions would be in vain.
"Uncle, if you've never met Kevin's only daughter, don't worry about it. Maybe what happened to my girlfriend was just a coincidence, or maybe she was targeted because she's my current girlfriend."
