On an open stretch of land in Godric's Hollow, a group of Cornish pixies were busily working.

Yes, you read that correctly. A group of Cornish pixies, who originally should have been little troublemakers, were now constantly transporting materials.

Watching them fly back and forth, they were practically more diligent than bees.

Pixie, the leader of this group of Cornish pixies, wore a yellow plastic hard hat on his head and held a plastic baton in his hand. He chirped nonstop while constantly directing the other Cornish pixies.

He looked exactly like a foreman.

The Cornish pixies delivered piece after piece of material to Dudley. Dudley was responsible for secondary processing, and then stone hands rising from the floor placed each piece into its proper position.

Alchemy in his left hand, Magic Armor Modification processing in his right, plus the help of these Cornish pixies, greatly increased the modification speed.

Hermione was responsible for designing the layout of each room inside the house, while Harry was responsible for buying decorations in Diagon Alley.

With clear division of labor, the castle's construction speed increased enormously.

Inside the castle, Doxies with claws and teeth bared either pushed a rag together, lifted feather dusters together, or carried brooms. In short, they were all cleaning the rooms that had already been modified.

On the lawn outside the castle, a group of short garden gnomes who were originally lazy gluttons were holding scissors completely out of proportion with their bodies, diligently trimming the messy grass.

Every creature had its own use. Even Doxies and garden gnomes, which other wizards labeled as pests, were the same.

Whether Doxies or garden gnomes, Dudley had caught them himself. Originally, their intelligence was too low for taming, but after the skill upgraded to LV2, they could be tamed. Mm. Ever since he soothed the basilisk, both Magical Creature Taming and Language of Magical Creatures had inexplicably evolved to LV2. Dudley still had no clue about the principle, though he vaguely felt it should be related to the number of magical creatures he had encountered.

Unfortunately, LV2 Magical Creature Taming was still not enough to tame magical creatures on the level of basilisks or dragons.

Otherwise, Dudley could cosplay as a beast tamer.

On the steps outside the castle gate, a Niffler was lying belly-up, lazily sunning itself and making little snoring sounds. Dudley had found it in the Forbidden Forest together with the Augurey and the Mandrake.

After being fed well during this period, it had grown quite a bit fatter.

"Floo powder is really troublesome. Every time I use it, I end up covered in ash."

Harry returned to the castle dusty from travel, complaining softly as he took out his wand. With a firm wave, his originally dirty body immediately became clean.

Scourgify came in handy surprisingly often.

"Once the renovation is completely finished, I will install an automatic cleaning fireplace in the reception room. Then it won't be so troublesome."

Dudley chatted with Harry, but his hands did not pause at all.

Harry took out item after item from his bag. Of course, it had also been given an Undetectable Extension Charm.

This charm was absolutely the most useful and convenient thing in the wizarding world, without exception.

"Big D, these are the seeds you wanted."

When he reached the bags of seeds, Harry handed them to Dudley.

"Mm. These are the ones." Dudley took the seeds and nodded with satisfaction.

"First, this."

Dudley took out one bag and scattered the seeds along the edge of the courtyard.

"Then..."

He casually removed one of the red-and-white balls from his waist.

"Go, Oddish."

With a flash of white light, the Mandrake appeared on the spot, yawning and still sleepy.

Mandrakes were nocturnal plants. Under normal circumstances, during the day they basically stayed buried in the ground, leaving only a few green leaves exposed. But after Dudley tamed this Mandrake, it could move freely during the day as well. It only needed to adjust its sleep schedule a little.

"Oddish, use Growth on those seeds."

The Mandrake tilted its head and looked at Dudley. A large question mark seemed to appear above its head.

"I mean, ripen those seeds."

Mandrake: "!"

This time, the Mandrake understood Dudley's words. It walked to the places where the seeds had been scattered and began dancing. As it danced, orange-yellow powder sprinkled down from its emerald leaves.

In no time, seeds that originally required more than ten days to sprout actually broke through the soil by a miracle.

A normal Mandrake did not have this ripening ability.

They only made cries that caused unconsciousness and hallucinations. In severe cases, they could kill.

But after Dudley's taming, this Mandrake possessed this ability.

Although it could not help much in combat, it was an expert in logistics.

"Water and fertilize."

Dudley spoke softly.

Immediately, Cornish pixies flew over carrying watering cans and fertilizer, constantly watering the soil.

Before long, those green sprouts grew at an unbelievable speed into thorny brambles covered in barbs. They wound around the bushes, forming a natural barrier.

Dudley had just scattered ironthorn seeds, used for basic defense.

Originally, Dudley's idea had been to plant Devil's Snare. Devil's Snare was much more useful for defense than any ironthorn. Unfortunately, that thing was especially afraid of light and could not be planted in the courtyard at all.

Unless Dudley was willing to cover the entire castle with a giant dome and prevent it from seeing sunlight all day, he could forget it.

"The effect is good."

Dudley looked at the ironthorns spread around the castle and nodded with satisfaction.

"Let's try the other seeds."

Dudley took out another bag of seeds.

Soon, with the Mandrake's assistance, the flower beds around them were planted with all kinds of magical plants.

"You did very well. Come back."

After praising the Mandrake a few times, Dudley stuffed it with a bag of its favorite snacks and put it back into the red-and-white ball.

"A magical ability." Even though Harry had seen it many times, he could not help sighing in admiration.

Harry could now be considered well-read, but this was still the first time he had seen a Mandrake that could assist plant growth.

"Dudley, I think we should discuss room arrangements."

Hermione's voice came from inside the front door. Then the door was pushed open, startling the Niffler sleeping below the steps.

After seeing it was Hermione, the Niffler first let out an excited cry, then climbed up her clothes onto her shoulder. Its little black coal-like eyes greedily stared at the sapphire-like ring shining on Hermione's hand.

Nifflers were magical creatures that loved treasure very much. They wished they could put every shiny and valuable thing into their own pouch or offer it to their master. It was worth mentioning that this kind of magical creature was especially good at digging holes.

Of course, at most it only looked at Hermione's ring. It would not take it for itself.

It was not stupid. It knew that was something Dudley had given her.

"I want the master bedroom. You live next door. That's that."

Dudley answered decisively, and once again, Hermione's face flushed bright red.
