Bat Girl stared intently at the burning culture dish, her lips trembling soundlessly. Her broad wings fluttered involuntarily behind her due to her emotional turmoil.
As a fellow fruit ability user within the "mammal" and "small beast" categories, she could clearly sense the noble and blazing bloodline pressure emanating from the red light—far surpassing her Common Type bat form. It was a powerful aura that transcended Common Types, originating from a Mythical Zoan.
"F-Fire Rat!!!" Fu murmured to herself, her voice trembling with disbelief.
She had always felt a hidden sense of inferiority among her sisters for being a Common Type. None of the sisters around her were weak—the Mythical Zoan Griffin was beyond comparison, and there were already six Ancient Types, yet none shared her bloodline. They were all high-level Dragon Attribute, Snake Attribute, Bear Attribute, and even one more unbelievable Elf Attribute.
Even among the Common Type Beast Girls she belonged to, her abilities were below average. If not for her aerial dominance, she might have been at the very bottom. As Brian's Beast Girl team grew larger, she felt increasingly isolated.
She longed for a fellow "rodent" Beast Girl, stronger than herself, whom she could look up to and follow, proving that their kind wasn't weak. Who could bear being labeled "rodents" forever?
And now, that hope was finally about to be realized.
"Fire Rat, truly something to look forward to," Brian said, his eyes equally excited.
The Fire Rat was not only a powerful mythical beast, but its symbolic traits of "flames" and "fire resistance" could work wonders in many situations.
While waiting, the other Beast Girls watched the changes in the culture dish with curious eyes.
The culture dish containing the Fire Rat Fruit now resembled a massive ruby, filled with condensed crimson radiance. Within, one could even see swirling flames moving like liquid.
There was no sound of shattering or explosion. The sturdy glass walls of the culture dish began to melt slowly from the inside under the dual effects of high temperature and energy, softening and collapsing outward like wax meeting heat!
A blast of scorching air swept out, forcing the Beast Girls standing slightly closer to step back.
From the molten opening, a pair of fluffy, flame-like ears emerged first, twitching lively. Then, a petite figure leaped out gracefully from the melted culture dish, landing steadily.
This newborn Beast Girl stood only about 1.5 meters tall, appearing very small and adorable. The Fire Rat Girl had waist-length hair that resembled dancing flames, predominantly pink in color. Her most striking feature was her fair and delicate skin, which shone brilliantly against her pink hair. Behind her, a slender tail with a burning flame at its tip was particularly eye-catching.
The Fire Rat Girl's limbs appeared quite similar to human limbs, except they were entirely covered in a layer of burning flames.
Of course, the most eye-catching feature of the Fire Rat Girl was her curvaceous figure beneath the form-fitting cheongsam.
The red cheongsam was adorned with flame-like patterns, giving it a look that was both adorable and somewhat sacred.
Despite standing only one and a half meters tall, her figure seemed even more pronounced when wrapped in the red cheongsam.
Compared to the earlier Tuan Rong, this took the concept of a "loli heart in a mature body" to its extreme.
After landing, the Fire Rat Girl curiously examined her own hands, watching the flames burning on them with great delight.
The flames shifted and changed according to her thoughts.
At times, they took the form of her own appearance, at other times Brian's, and sometimes even the forms of the surrounding Beast Girls.
The ever-changing flames only accentuated the Fire Rat Girl's charming innocence.
"Zoan Type, Rat-Rat Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Fire Rat Beast Girl, reporting for duty, Master!"
Finally, the Fire Rat Girl spoke.
Her voice was clear and melodious, like the ringing of a bell, brimming with vitality.
Brian looked at this petite Beast Girl who contained immense firepower and smiled.
The power of the Mythical Zoan was indeed extraordinary; even with her small stature, the pure flame energy she possessed was unmistakably real.
"Fire Rat Girl, welcome. I'll name you Agni."
Brian had high expectations for the Fire Rat Girl, hoping she would embody the fire god recorded in myths, commanding flames with overwhelming Haki.
Bringing warmth and light to her allies, and death and burning to her enemies.
He once again plucked a Millet-Millet Fruit from his face and handed it to Agni.
Agni nodded and was about to take the millet when a figure rushed toward her at incredible speed.
Under the simultaneous astonished gazes of Brian and Agni, the figure that appeared knelt on one knee—it was Bat Girl, Fu.
"Big Sis Agni, I'm Fu. I'm also a Rat-Rat Fruit Beast Girl."
Fu's voice trembled noticeably with excitement as she looked up, her eyes shining with near-fanatic admiration.
"You've finally been born! Fire Rat, a Mythical Zoan! We Rat-Rat Fruit users finally have a true powerhouse!"
Her words were somewhat incoherent, but the long-suppressed yearning and reverence for a powerful kindred bloodline were unmistakable.
As a Common Type Bat Girl, Fu had indeed felt quite repressed.
Although bats are classified under the order Chiroptera, they belong to the same class Mammalia as rodents, and there is indeed a certain connection in myths and the fruit system.
From this perspective, watching Ancient Types like dragons, snakes, and cats, or even Mythical Zoans, flaunt their power, how could she not yearn for a "pillar of strength" of her own, one that could stand above the rest?
Now, the emergence of the Mythical Zoan Fire Rat Girl had completely ignited the flame of hope in her heart.
She was no longer a lonely "bottom-tier"; she had someone to look up to now!
And not just anyone—the strongest Mythical Zoan in the current Beast Girl Legion!
Agni was momentarily taken aback by Fu's sudden outburst of emotion. She blinked her ruby-like eyes, looking at the Bat Girl, and could feel the excitement in her heart.
"Fu, right? Don't worry, I'll have your back from now on."
Gently reaching out her hand, Agni stroked Fu's ears. No further words were needed—everything was understood without speaking.
Fu felt the warmth from Agni's hand and her gentle, approachable demeanor, making her even more emotional, almost to the point of tears.
"Mhm, okay, Sister Agni."
She stood up and positioned herself directly beside Flameheart's side, like a guard who had finally found her place.
Feixue and Ella watched this scene, both curling their lips slightly, somewhat disdainful of Fu's "finding a backer" attitude.
As members of the Dragon Attribute, the two respected Agni's strength, but merely being a Mythical Zoan wasn't enough to make them completely submit.
Besides, sooner or later, their Dragon Attribute would have a Mythical Zoan big sister too—no big deal.
Seeing that Fu had settled down, Brian handed the dango to Flameheart: "Agni, eat this."
Agni obediently took it and swallowed the dango.
The moment the connection was established, Brian felt a warm stream of fire integrate into his limbs and bones. His resistance to high temperatures seemed to have improved significantly, and he could even vaguely sense and guide the fire-attribute energy around him.
In the Star Chart in his mind, the star representing Flameheart lit up like a small sun, radiating warm and dazzling light.
As the Star Chart was ignited once more, Brian's own strength, bolstered by a series of Beast Girls, finally broke through a new threshold.
