Chapter 143 - Chapter 143: Kizaru's Serious Attitude

Next, Luna saw the familiar items: two Observation Haki Awakening Cards and two armament haki awakening cards. She recalled that she already had two of each in her system space.

If she completed this mission, she would have three of each.

But a quick calculation showed it was just right.

One for Diancie, then one for the new native partner she would find using the guiding light after killing Spandine, and now she had acquired more. Plus, with another old partner summon card, she would summon another otherworldly partner and give them one.

Then there was any World Weapon, which she was also very much looking forward to. What would she get this time?

But what concerned her most was the fourth mission: a teacher who could instruct in both types of Haki. This was exactly what she needed right now. Since she had decided to develop a large fleet, a teacher capable of instructing in Observation Haki and Armament Haki was truly essential.

After all, in the New World, these two types of Haki were basically possessed by any strong person, any individual.

Given this, every member of her large fleet would also need widespread training in the future, striving for each person to master at least one type of Haki.

Then came the final reward: she had obtained a special ingredient from the world of Toriko, the sweet full fruit.

This was a delicious fruit that could only be born from the essence of an entire island, gathering the essence of countless fruits like cantaloupe, apples, and mangoes. It was also known as the Earth Fruit or Fruit Medley.

Now, if she completed the mission, she would receive a whopping 50 of these delicious fruits. Luna's mouth was practically watering.

This even filled her with fighting spirit for the battle that hadn't even begun, as the mission rewards were simply too generous.

But suddenly, Luna froze. She looked up at the sky and noticed a large number of life signatures above the clouds, along with a sound similar to a hot air balloon airship.

It would have been fine if they were just passing by, but they actually stopped above them.

It was as if they intended to witness their battle with the Marines firsthand.

"Hmm? Wait a minute, thinking about it, and it's primarily an airship with many people on it... Morgans? That big, fat albatross man."

Luna quickly connected the dots: Morgans had arrived.

"Heh heh, perfect. Now I don't need to live stream myself." Luna smiled. She had originally planned to conduct a live broadcast herself, letting the entire sea witness their battle with the Marines and see the strength of their Pink Hat Pirates.

She also believed that Morgans would definitely start a live broadcast, as that would maximize his profits and earn him more money.

As a dedicated reporter, Morgans would surely do so.

And indeed, that was the case.

What appeared above their cloud layer was indeed Morgans and his World Economic News Agency headquarters, an aerial airship.

"Hahaha, excellent! The Marines haven't arrived yet. Quickly send out our most elite News Coo to fly down and prepare for a live broadcast."

Morgans was overjoyed when he saw that only the Pink Hat Pirates had arrived and the Marines were not yet there. He had made it in time.

So he immediately gave the order; he decided to broadcast live.

"Ah, President, aren't we taking photos and writing newspapers anymore? Oh dear," one of the more foolish employees blurted out.

"Idiot!" He was directly slapped away by an enraged Morgans, hitting the wall and getting knocked out.

Morgans then cursed, "The money from live broadcast viewership is far better than selling newspapers! You don't even understand that, you idiot!"

"What are you all standing around for? Get to it! Oh, and wait for my command to start the broadcast."

Morgans turned around and scolded the other employees to hurry up.

"Yes, President."

..."Captain, they're here." After a while longer, Shino Asada, standing on the observation deck, saw the arrival of the Marines on the distant horizon.

"They've finally arrived. What's the situation on their side?" Luna drained a can of iced cola in her hand and said with a cold laugh.

"Only one warship has arrived. It's that dog-head warship we encountered in the East Blue. There aren't many regular Marine Soldiers on board, perhaps a few hundred. We can't see inside the ship's hold, but I estimate around three hundred or so."

Shino Asada reported while observing the situation on the distant Navy Warships with her eight-power scope.
