Chapter 359 - NUCT: Chapter 359

"YOU BASTARD — PAY ME BACK!"

Tsunade shouted this with such ferocity that she looked ready to leap across the table and bite him to death.

Shinji froze instantly. Everyone nearby turned to look, their eyes lighting up with excitement at the drama unfolding.

A little girl calling a man a bastard and demanding money…

Everyone immediately began imagining all sorts of stories — some innocent, some far less so.

"Uh… little miss, I think you've got the wrong person. Where are your parents?"

Shinji had never seen what Tsunade looked like as a child, so naturally he didn't recognize her. If she hadn't looked like a small kid, he would have been ready to throw a punch.

"Little miss? Take a good look at me — who am I?!"

Tsunade was already drunk, and now that she was face‑to‑face with her "mortal enemy," her eyes burned with rage.

Without thinking about the consequences, she instantly released her Transformation Jutsu.

Whoa!

In the blink of an eye, the little girl turned into a full‑grown woman — and a very well‑endowed one at that.

"TSUNADE?!"

Shinji was absolutely stunned. It was a mind‑blowing shock.

He never, ever expected to run into Tsunade here.

Seeing Shinji's utterly shocked expression, Tsunade suddenly felt a surge of triumphant satisfaction.

Gotcha, you little rascal! Finally, I've caught you!

She sneered loudly.

"Didn't expect this, did you, you bastard?! You took what you wanted and ran off without paying — but today you're not getting away! PAY ME BACK!"

Ohhh!

Took what he wanted! Didn't pay! Ran away! Caught red‑handed!

All the customers were thrilled. They stopped grilling their meat entirely and gathered around to watch the show.

Tsunade meant one thing by "took what you wanted," and Shinji knew exactly what she meant… but the crowd definitely didn't.

Even Tamamo Hotaru and Moxi couldn't help glancing at Shinji with deep disdain.

Having both spent time in the entertainment district, they hated "freeloaders" more than anything.

Swindling people out of money like that… is he even a man?!

Shinji felt like he was about to have a breakdown. That's NOT what happened!

He wanted to explain, but he was so frustrated he nearly coughed up blood — and had no idea how to fix this mess.

Just then, the owner and the waitress, who had heard the commotion, came back from the restrooms to see what was going on.

When they saw her, they lit up instantly with joy!

They had been worrying they'd have to pay for this out of their own pockets — but now, the tide had turned!

"PAY UP!"

Another demand for money?!

Everyone turned to look — and realized this time, it was the shop owner shouting.

Don't tell me… the owner was swindled too?!

Under the strange, suspicious stares of the crowd, the owner marched over furiously, holding the IOU note he had found on the table earlier.

"Did you leave this note? Let me tell you — we do not allow credit here. Pay up!"

Ugh! Bummer!

Hearing it was just about an unpaid bill, all the customers rolled their eyes and lost interest.

We were all ready for the juicy details… who cares about a restaurant bill?!

Meanwhile, Tsunade was finally starting to sober up a little. Oh no…

She had used the transformation to try and sneak away, but now she had lost her temper and blown her cover. Caught red‑handed by the owner, escaping was going to be impossible.

But then she remembered something. She snatched the IOU back, pointed straight at Shinji, and declared without a shred of shame:

"Ask him for it! He owes me money!"

The owner wasn't intimidated at all. He turned to Shinji and asked loudly: "Do you know her? Are you sure you want to pay for her meal?"

Every eye in the place turned to Shinji again.

This was the ultimate social embarrassment. He took a deep breath, put on a blank, expressionless face, and nodded.

"I'll pay for hers. And mine too. Put both tables together."

"Very well. Do you mind if I calculate the total right now?"

The owner had almost been cheated out of payment earlier. Now he was determined to get his money first, even if it annoyed the customers. What if they all run off together once they're done eating?

Shinji waved his hand impatiently, telling him to hurry up.

A moment later, the owner returned with the bill.

"For both tables… the total comes to 393,500 ryō."

"WHAT?! 390,000 ryō?!"

Shinji was so angry he almost laughed. He didn't care about money, but he wasn't an idiot, and he certainly wasn't a pushover.

But when she heard the number, Tsunade said absolutely nothing. Instead, she turned her face away, looking incredibly guilty.

Then the owner explained with a helpless sigh: "The food and dishes from both tables total only 3,500 ryō. The rest is all for the sake. This lady ordered the best and most expensive wines in the entire shop. Even the cheapest bottle she had cost 10,000 ryō. Here is the detailed list."

3,500 ryō for barbecue… that's cheap enough. Even including Tsunade's table…

But when Shinji heard the rest, he lost his cool completely.

He grabbed the detailed bill and his face turned pitch black.

The owner wasn't cheating him. Every drink was clearly priced, and he had even asked her several times before serving.

The problem was that Tsunade had never intended to pay from the start — so she didn't even look at the prices. When the owner had tried to explain, she had nearly snapped at him.

"Did you drink all of this?!"

"So what if I did? It's only 400,000 ryō. You owe me millions. Just subtract it from what you owe me — you're not doing me any favor here!"

Her face flushed with alcohol, Tsunade puffed out her chest and argued stubbornly, refusing to back down.

Shinji gave up. He didn't bother arguing anymore. He just took out the money and paid the bill.

Once he had the cash, the owner's expression softened instantly. Seeing they hadn't finished eating, he even sent over several extra plates of meat as a gesture of apology.

Shinji wasn't going to hold a grudge against a normal citizen, so he just went back to eating and drinking.

Meanwhile, Tsunade sat down naturally at the empty space at Shinji's table. She banged on the table and ordered the owner to bring her more wine.

Since nobody stopped her, and someone was paying, the owner happily obeyed.

Shinji held his head in his hands, wanting to smash it against the wall.

Back when he had run away last time, he had a vague feeling he had forgotten something important.

But by the time he realized what it was… it was too late.

He never imagined that the mess he made back then would come back to haunt him now.

"Aren't you going to introduce us?" Tamamo Hotaru couldn't help asking.

Shinji kept his face stern. "This is Tsunade. One of the legendary Three Sannin of Konoha."

Hardly anyone in the world didn't know that title.

Tamamo Hotaru and Sasuke both looked at Tsunade in surprise.

This heavy‑drinking, incredibly busty woman… is actually Tsunade?!

Sasuke suddenly felt a little disappointed.

Wait a minute… that mark… isn't that…

"Kid… staring so openly at a woman's chest is bad manners. It reminds me of that lecherous old white‑haired man."

Sasuke's face turned bright red. He replied, half‑embarrassed and half‑annoyed: "I was looking at that mark on your chest!"

"Oh, this? Ever since I was tricked into signing a contract by someone, it's been like this. Can't get rid of it no matter what I do."

As she spoke, Tsunade narrowed her eyes and stared straight at someone in particular.

Shinji calmly sipped his wine, pretending he didn't notice a thing.

Sasuke was shocked. Even the legendary Tsunade, one of the Three Sannin… has joined the Jashin Cult of the Evil God?!

He couldn't help touching the same mark on his own chest. Suddenly, a strange sense of pride filled him.

I, Uchiha Sasuke… stand on equal footing with Tsunade!
