He descended like lightning onto the roots supporting the monster's central trunk, ignoring the even more intense exhaustion and pallor evident on his face, and the impact of his spear not only sliced through the wood but generated an explosion that tore the Guardian's base from the rocky ground for a few moments, throwing the monster off balance.
After that attack, Dylan didn't even glance at the result of his strike; with the last of his strength, he ran to the rear and collapsed to the ground, completely exhausted, allowing the Slime enveloping his body to restore some of his energy.
