Hehe, I'm back again—so where's the Power Stone, guys?
.....
Meanwhile, back at Allen's apartment, where his girls were currently staying, the situation had obviously grown noticeably worse—especially on the lower floors.
Near the entrance lay the half-destroyed corpse of a Stalker, its body twisted and torn apart, clear evidence of a brutal battle with the Black Rose team.
At the moment, Alyssa, Rebecca, Rachel, and Karena were still patiently waiting for news regarding a safe evacuation route from the other Black Rose members who were currently out in the field.
As for the rest of the girls, they had already been evacuated out of the city and were currently on their way to Los Angeles aboard a private jet that had been arranged earlier.
As they waited, Rebecca's thoughts kept drifting back to Allen.
After a while, Karena approached her, her voice calm but perceptive, "Are you thinking about Allen?".
Rebecca nodded slowly.
"Yeah… I'm worried about him. I just hope he comes back soon so we can finally leave this city together."
"You don't need to worry too much," Karena replied gently. "Allen can take care of himself. Besides, he's with Svetlana right now."
Rebecca nodded again, but no matter what was said, the worry didn't fully leave her expression. Knowing Allen was capable didn't stop her from feeling uneasy—not in a city like this, not with things spiraling out of control.
Seeing that, Karena only shook her head softly. Just then, her communicator beeped. She glanced at the message and spoke again.
"Our team will arrive in fifteen minutes," she said. "Let's get ready. And don't worry—I'll make sure Allen gets out of this city safely with me."
Rebecca nodded, feeling slightly reassured. She then looked toward Alyssa, understanding that this was their turn. Soon, the two of them would evacuate out of the city, while Rachel would stay behind and move with Karena to search for Allen afterward.
After fifteen minutes, a helicopter finally descended onto the apartment building's rooftop, its blades slicing through the air with a deafening roar. Alyssa stood near the edge for a moment, looking out over the city. Raccoon City had fallen into near-total darkness—streetlights were dead, entire blocks swallowed by shadows, while thick columns of smoke rose into the night sky from multiple fires burning out of control.
The city looked less like a place people once lived… and more like a dying battlefield.
Alyssa then turned toward Rebecca, who was staring at the same grim view, her expression heavy and conflicted.
"Come on, Rebecca," Alyssa said softly as she reached out and took her hand. "We should get on now."
"Ah… yeah, okay," Rebecca replied, snapping herself out of it.
The two of them hurried toward the helicopter and climbed inside. The door slid shut, and moments later the engine power increased. The helicopter slowly lifted off the rooftop, then accelerated forward.
As the aircraft pulled away, Raccoon City shrank beneath them—its ruined streets, burning buildings, and spreading smoke fading into the distance.
Rebecca kept her gaze fixed on the city until it disappeared from view.
Leaving the city behind didn't bring relief…
only the quiet hope that the one she cared about would follow soon after.
.....
After Rebecca and Alyssa departed, Karena headed toward the vehicle where Rachel was already waiting. Rachel was seated in front of several monitors, carefully observing the city's CCTV feeds while tracking Allen's current location.
"So, how bad is the situation in the city right now?" Karena asked as she got inside.
"Very bad," Rachel replied without looking away from the screens. "A lot of people are trapped and struggling to escape. Oh—and there's more. Within the next twenty-four hours, it looks like the federal authorities are planning to launch a missile strike to completely level the city. They don't want the infection spreading to neighboring areas."
"Well," Karena said calmly, "that's… interesting news."
Rachel finally turned to face her. "So what's our plan going forward?"
"We stick to the original plan," Karena answered firmly. "First, we help secure the evacuation zones. After that, we go pick up Allen."
"What?!" Rachel blurted out. "I thought we were going to get Allen right away."
"I want to do that too," Karena replied, her tone serious. "But I don't want to disappoint him either. This is a mission Black Rose has already accepted. You know what Allen is like—he won't be happy if we abandon our responsibility just for him."
Rachel let out a long sigh. "Fine… let's do it your way. Then we'd better move fast so we can meet Allen as soon as possible and get him out of this place. I don't want my child to be born without a father, you know."
She said it with a faint smile, clearly proud as she glanced at Karena—almost as if she were deliberately showing off the fact that she was carrying Allen's child.
"Tsk," Karena clicked her tongue in annoyance.
Without saying another word, she stepped on the accelerator. The vehicle surged forward, disappearing into the ruined streets as they raced against time—toward evacuation zones.
....
Meanwhile, on the other side of the city, Allen had arrived at one of the evacuation pickup points that had been secured by the R.P.D., where he unexpectedly ran into Rita.
"Allen!" Rita shouted as she ran toward him and wrapped him in a tight hug. "Thank goodness you're okay."
"I could say the same about you," Allen replied.
Claire, who saw this from the side, simply turned her head away.
'Another girl? Is she also one of Allen's girlfriends?' Claire thought, feeling a hint of regret for choosing to leave this city to pursue her studies and letting Allen charm so many women behind her back.
Well, it's a bit strange that she thinks this way when she and Allen are just friends.
"I thought you'd already evacuated with the others," Allen said.
"Yeah, I'm about to leave with the last group," Rita replied. "Allen, are you coming with us too?"
Allen shook his head.
"Not yet. I still have something I need to take care of. Brian asked me to meet him at the orphanage. I'm only here to escort a civilian I found on the way."
"Oh, I see," Rita said with a nod. "Alright then. Be careful, okay? Once you're done, I hope you'll leave the city as soon as possible. And don't forget about that drink you promised me. You already forgot it once."
"Haha, of course," Allen replied.
With that, Rita helped Jenna board the evacuation bus.
Before getting on, Jenna turned back toward Allen, "Will we be able to meet again after this?" she asked, clearly hopeful.
"Hm, of course," Allen replied. "Here—this is my number. You can contact me anytime."
He handed her a card with his personal contact information.
Jenna smiled brightly. "Thank you. I'll definitely call you once I'm out of here safely."
She stepped closer and, without hesitation, kissed Allen right on the lips—in full view of Rita, Claire, and Svetlana.
Rita and Claire both frowned, their expressions clearly annoyed, while Svetlana merely smiled, amused by the reactions of the other two.
Allen didn't pull away. Jenna was very much his type, after all. The kiss lingered for a moment, warm and intimate, before Jenna finally pulled back.
"See you again," she said softly.
With Rita's help, Jenna boarded the bus. Rita, though visibly irritated by the bold move Jenna had just made, bu she hide her feelings behind a calm expression and said nothing. She simply turned back one last time, looking at Allen as he raised his hand and waved goodbye while the bus prepared to depart.
Watching the bus slowly disappear from the evacuation zone and leave Raccoon City behind, Allen finally turned away.
"Alright, let's get going. We should move quickly—I'm sure Brian is already waiting for us," Allen said.
Claire and Svetlana nodded in agreement, and the three of them headed toward the orphanage. However, when they finally arrived, the area was eerily quiet. The building looked abandoned, its halls empty and lifeless. Allen searched around but couldn't find Brian anywhere.
"Where the hell did that guy go?" Allen muttered.
"Hello! Is anyone here?" Claire shouted, her voice echoing through the empty orphanage halls. No one answered.
Sensing that something was wrong, Allen began looking for clues. After a moment, he noticed a piece of paper lying on the floor. He picked it up and read it carefully.
[Allen, if you find this note, please go to the hospital immediately. I can't stay here any longer. There's a monster chasing me—]
The message ended abruptly. It was clear that the note hadn't been finished. It seemed Brian had fled in a hurry, unable to complete his warning before escaping.
Meanwhile, Claire had found an old diary written by the children who once lived there. As she flipped through the pages, her expression slowly darkened. Her hands trembled slightly as she read entries describing how the children had begun disappearing one by one, vanishing without explanation. The innocent handwriting only made it more disturbing.
At the same time, Claire had also just learned that Chief Brian—the man Allen was currently looking for—was actually the director in charge of managing this orphanage as well.
The anger and sadness on Claire's face were obvious.
Allen noticed her reaction and walked over. "Hey, Claire… are you okay?" he asked gently, concerned by the look in her eyes.
"I'm fine," Claire replied, taking a breath to steady herself. "Did you find any clues?"
"Yeah," Allen said as he nodded. "I found a note. It says Chief Brian left this place and headed to the hospital. Apparently, there's some kind of strange monster chasing him."
Allen didn't say it out loud, but he strongly suspected that the 'monster' mentioned in the note was one of Umbrella's Stalkers, sent to silence Brian before he could talk.
Claire looked at Allen with a conflicted expression. "Why do you look like you really want to find him, Allen? From what I read in this diary, Chief Brian is also responsible for the children disappearing from this place."
Allen met her gaze, his expression serious. "Yeah, I know. And I won't deny that he's guilty. He's part of the rot Umbrella spread everywhere." He paused for a moment before continuing. "But he's also a direct witness. Someone like him could testify against Umbrella. If we want to take them down for good, we need people who were involved and know the truth—even if they're not innocent themselves."
Claire was silent for a moment, then slowly nodded. "I understand…"
Before the conversation could continue, Svetlana's gunfire echoed from outside the building. She lowered her weapon after taking down several approaching zombies and glanced back at them.
"We should move. More zombies are closing in on our position," Svetlana warned calmly.
Both Allen and Claire nodded in agreement. Without wasting any more time, the three of them left the orphanage behind. Their next destination was clear now—the hospital, where Chief Brian was most likely hiding, and where whatever was hunting him might still be lurking in the shadows.
...
Meanwhile, deep within one of Umbrella's underground laboratory facilities, HUNK finally regained consciousness. His vision was blurry at first, his body wrapped tightly in bandages, tubes and IV lines running from his arms to nearby medical equipment. Every breath sent a dull ache through his chest.
"Captain… you're finally awake," said one of his subordinates, a man with the codename Lone Wolf, standing beside the medical bed. "You've been unconscious for six days. Honestly, I thought you weren't going to make it."
HUNK let out a low groan. Without hesitation, he reached up and ripped the IV line out of his arm, ignoring the sharp sting of pain. Slowly, he sat up and began moving his limbs one by one, testing his condition. Several ribs protested painfully—definitely broken—but the rest of his body was still functional.
"Ugh… what about the G-Virus?" HUNK asked coldly. "Did you manage to secure the package?"
Lone Wolf's expression darkened. "I'm sorry, Captain. Alpha Team… they're all dead. You and I are the only ones left." He clenched his fists. "The city is in total chaos now. The T-Virus leaked everywhere after William went berserk. He slaughtered the entire team."
HUNK was silent for a moment. Then his eyes sharpened with resolve.
"Then we'll obtain the G-Virus sample directly from William himself."
Lone Wolf's eyes widened slightly. "Captain, you're seriously injured. And there are only two of us left. Why don't we abort the mission and get out of the city while we still can?"
HUNK turned his head slowly to face him. His voice was calm, but absolute.
"Don't say things like that. If you don't intend to see this mission through, then leave. I won't force you to follow me to your death. I'll complete it alone if I have to."
Lone Wolf shook his head firmly. "No, Captain. I won't abandon you. If you stay, I stay. But at least… contact Command first. We need updated orders before moving forward."
HUNK considered it for a moment, then nodded. He reached for his radio and activated the channel.
"Command, this is HUNK. Do you read me?" His voice was steady despite his condition. "We were defeated by Dr. William Birkin. He injected himself with the G-Virus. Alpha Team has been wiped out. Requesting new orders."
At first, there was only static. Long, suffocating silence filled the room. Then, finally, a voice crackled through the radio.
"So… you're the only survivor." The tone was cold, analytical. "As expected of H.U.N.K—Human Unit Never Killed. Your previous mission has failed… but that's acceptable."
HUNK listened without interrupting.
"We're granting you a second chance," Command continued. "Proceed to Spencer Memorial Hospital. Retrieve the nutrient solution required to repair a Tyrant, codename Nemesis. Once acquired, inject the solution into the Stalker immediately."
There was a brief pause before the voice added, "This is your redemption opportunity. Don't disappoint us. We're dispatching Bravo Team to support you. Good luck."
HUNK switched off the radio.
"Roger," he said quietly. "Mission accepted."
Ignoring the pain, he stood up and began strapping on his gear—armor plates, weapons, mask—each movement deliberate and efficient. Lone Wolf watched in silence as the legendary operative prepared himself once more.
Moments later, HUNK turned toward the exit of the lab.
Their destination was clear now.
Spencer Memorial Hospital.
