Chapter 278 - RUINING VICTORIA PARKER

"Ew, her last name was Parker?" Annette whispered on the other side of Abigail.

I watched the woman who had been my wife for fifteen years, and my enemy for the last several months, get led in by the bailiffs to the defense table. She looked rather relaxed, and I almost laughed at the sight, because her jaw was about to drop.

"Victoria Parker," the judge began.

"You have pleaded guilty as an accessory to murder, obstruction of justice, conspiracy to commit murder, and multiple counts of fraud and money laundering. The court has reviewed your cooperation agreement with the prosecution, and while your testimony against Devin Wolfe was valuable, the court finds that the severity of your crimes warrants significant punishment."

Her eyes widened, and she blinked rapidly.

"W-What?! You can't do that,"

"Excuse me?" the judge scoffed, arching a brow.

Victoria's face went white. "I mean, go on, your honor,"
