"Ah... careful," Monica exclaimed as Roxanne pricked her finger while gathering twigs.
"It's nothing," Roxanne assured her, giving her hand a quick shake before returning to work.
Monica let out a sigh. "Please don't trouble yourself with this. It's quite dark here, so it's difficult to move around."
Roxanne smiled sheepishly. "While I don't look like someone who does this often, I do have some experience."
Monica quickly waved her hands. "I didn't mean it like that."
Roxanne chuckled. "I know. I was just teasing you."
Monica's shoulders relaxed at her words. "But really, we don't need any more twigs. This should be enough to start a fire."
Roxanne nodded in understanding. Dusting off her hands, she returned to the campsite alongside Monica.
Thea has already occupied one shelter and the soft sound of her snoring reached them.
There was just enough space between the two shelters to keep the food basket safely tucked away.
