"baby are you okay" Kyle said to me
" I am fine " I said looking at our surrounding
"You don't look okay, should I call the doctor to examine you " Kyle said worriedly
" Am totally fine, I don't need a fuckin doctor to examine me, you don't believe me" I said with tears
" I believe you my love, don't cry , am here for you " Kyle said holding me with his hands
I fell asleep again
I woke up , Kyle wasn't around, I turned around, took my phone and checked the time, it was 7:48 pm in the night
" Mum , where are you " I said before leaving the room
"Mum, are you home, is anyone here " I continued calling, until I reached the stairs going to the sitting room, I heard noise coming from that place , I heard my mum voice then another female voice, it was really confusing, I haven't heard that voice for a long time.
I came down from the stairs just to see who knows the voice
My best friend Klara, I missed her so much
" Klara " I shouted her name, she turned around and also shouted my name too " Hazel"
We both ran down to each other and hugged ourselves, it felt like forever, we pulled out from the hug and stared at each other
I fuckin miss her
"Hey fish , you didn't tell me, you were getting married ehn " Klara said to me playfully
"Am sorry, I couldn't tell you, something happened" I said trying to explain my reasons
" I know my love, I know what happened, am sorry, I hope you are fine and strong " she said directing me to sit down on the couch
" Am totally fine , you didn't tell me you were coming" I said to her
" Well someone called me, saying I should come to meet my friend that she misses me a lot , I had to take the first flight from Paris to America to see you my fish " she said to me while holding my cheeks together making me look like a fish
" Let me guess Kyle did " I said to her already knowing the answer
" No actually, he didn't call " she said to me, I thought she was joking
" Stop joking Klara , it's only Kyle or my mum that would call you " I said to finalize everything I heard
" Am not, you know when am lying or joking " she said I knew now that she wasn't lying
" So who called" I asked
" Well sis , all I know is that the person that called is a male and he knew you alot but am here " she said finally
" Anyways, what would you like to eat" I asked her because she will start saying I didn't serve her
" Don't i know the house, this is my house too , so I will help myself to the kitchen" I laughed at her statement, well it's true , she left I and my mum
I turned to my mum and asked whether someone knows about my issue " no one my dear , maybe the manager but the person did well and sent your sister to you , okay my love so don't think about it too much" she said before leaving the room also leaving only me in the sitting room
" Hey girl am back now , so start telling me everything" she said excitedly, I took her to my room so that we can talk together
"Girl , I will tell you but promise me that you won't say am crazy " I said to her feeling secure with her
" I promise girl, I won't at least you know am a crazy girl too " she said with humor
" It all happened at the engagement party, I met this guy , he felt different totally different, he was swimming in the pool , I asked him to leave but instead he came closer to me saying gibberish things to me , saying I was his mate that he would come back , girl I was scared, immediately he left something came out of no where and I saw myself on the bed , I don't really remember what happened next
But I heard some one saying " I shouldn't die , that he would kill himself and everyone " then he poured something into my mouth, I don't know what was that " I said finally looking at Klara face right now
"Wow , all these happened and you couldn't tell me, he said you are his mate , hmmm well don't really bother" she said clearing my mind from it
" Well it's not all but I saw that same guy from the pool inside my room , he said he has being here , waiting for me to wake up , he looked like someone that starved himself for food and he couldn't continue with life " I said to her again
" What , so what did you do " she shouted
" I thought he might be the one who attacked me and was here to finish it all , so I ran " I said to her
" You did what, you ran , why would you , you don't know his reason " her behavior really shocked me
" Why are you acting this way , are you supporting a stranger who might kill me ehn " I said to her looking dissatisfied
"No am not but you said it yourself, he looked unhealthy, a person who stayed by your side for so long, you concluded he might be here to kill you , really girl " she concluded
" Why are you acting this way , do you know the guy " I asked suspiciously
" I don't know the guy , am not acting in any other way , what if he saved you , you don't know, what if he carried you , what if he risked his life for you , you don't know, you just came up with your stupid thought, girl for once reason well " she said to me which broke my spirit
" I didn't think like that but what would I have thought, that he is a God sent besides he was in my room , no one saw him except for me and I won't suspect him " I said standing up in anger
"Girl, you got to reason, I know his way is different, he might be scared to approach you but you didn't have to conclude that he is a killer " she finally said before going into the bathroom
