Luna's eyes shifted from the king's raised hands to look between the two carriages parked in front, as if weighing her options. On the other hand, there were the twins and two knights standing behind them, who were yet to enter the carriage. Then there was she and the king.
And from the look of things, the king wanted her to ride in the same carriage with him, but Luna didn't want to be in the same carriage as the king.
Without taking the king's hand, Luna opened her mouth to speak while observing the two carriages. "Since there are only two carriages and there are about six of us going, why don't I ride in the same carriage as the two of them?" she said, pointing her hand in the direction of the twins. "That way there would be enough space for the king to ride alone."
Draven's gaze darkened. His eyes bore down on the girl, who was now looking between him and the twins, as if she had done them a favor. So she was comfortable riding with four men and not with him.
