Xerian didn't answer his brother right away. He kept his eyes on Draven, watching the king's face for any flicker of reaction to Lucien's words. Draven had heard it, for it was spoken through the mind-link accessible to the Lycans and not through the twins' private mind-link, but Draven's gaze did not move from the Beta.
The king had made it clear to them of his interest in Luna, but they had thought it was just the king's latest obsession. Given how she looked like the late Queen, they assumed that with time it would eventually shift to another lady. That was the thought that ran through Xerian and Lucien's heads.
