"W-what… what are you doing?" Aelira muttered nervously as she felt Ulric tug at her waist, drawing her closer to him.
His length pressed against her lower body as the door behind her slammed shut.
The brief moment of silence only heightened the tension as her heart thumped rapidly while she tried to avert her gaze.
But Ulric reached out with both arms, cupping her face in his hands, letting his crimson gaze drill into her faint black eyes. Before he muttered,
"Did you already forget?" he teased, using her own words against her.
"You lost against me… that makes you mine."
He exhaled faintly, as if in contemplation, before sighing. "Unless of course you want to renegade on your words…"
Barely a moment after the words left his lips, he saw a fiery glint light up across her demeanor.
She snorted. "I, Aelira Moon, am a woman of my words," she muttered, swallowing the rest as her gaze trailed across the room.
