Chapter 303: The Riding Duel of Gods - Two Suns
A massive serpent head thrust out from the shattered darkness of the void, in that instant seeming to break through the seals of space itself, crossing dimensions to descend onto this final battlefield.
"Divine Serpent Geh?" Amano's expression darkened as he watched the massive black serpent's body slowly writhe into being out of the shattered sky.
He'd never expected Celestia to have a second God Card on top of Winged Dragon of Ra. The tomb-keeper clan's resources were genuinely terrifying.
Looking across the entire timeline of Yu-Gi-Oh! anime history, only one monster had ever existed as a Reptile-Type monster reaching a full Level 12 while carrying the title of a god.
It was the trump card belonging to Dartz, the final boss of the Legendary Dragons' Orichalcos arc.
[Divine Serpent Geh] [Level 12 / DARK]
[Reptile / Special Summon / Effect]
[ATK: Infinity] [DEF: Infinity]
[This card cannot be Normal Summoned. It can only be Special Summoned by this card's own effect. (1): Activate only when a monster you control is destroyed by an opponent's attack or effect. Special Summon this card from your hand. (2): As long as this card exists face-up in a Monster Zone, you do not lose the duel even if your Life Points hit 0.]
The fully-materialized, massive serpent god's descent, its divine pressure radiating just from its sheer size alone, rivaled even the Winged Dragon and Sky Dragon that had coiled above the track earlier in the battle.
After the war of two gods, the arrival of a third, serpentine god sent the crowd into an even louder uproar of shock and chatter.
"Both ATK and DEF are infinite! A monster like that actually exists?!"
"That's not a monster, that's a god!"
"Hold on, I've watched so many of Celestia's duels, and this is the first time I've ever seen her use this monster."
"You mean to say she's never once gone all-out in any of her previous duels?"
"Never showed her full power on the pro circuit, and now she's pulling out her trump card against a non-pro?!"
"Is Amano going to be okay?" Finesse asked, worried. "He's not going to get smothered to death, is he?"
In the VIP seats, the Emperor shivered. "I hate that giant black snake more than anything. That woman, pulling out a card like that too, she's completely unhinged!"
With the serpent god's descent, the oval, vertical slits in Celestia's golden eyes stood out even more distinctly.
"If Grandfather knew I'd Summoned the Serpent God, he'd definitely lecture me again. But since he's gone now, I can afford to cut loose a little more!"
Celestia's grin, already wild, now carried something extra: the killing intent of a venomous snake locking onto its prey.
It wasn't that the Serpent God itself was so dangerous, but the very concept of infinite ATK, under Eden's overkill rules, was genuinely dangerous.
"I'm not letting you slip out of your contract with me, Amano boy! You have to be mine!"
"So this is the anime-effect Serpent God?" Amano looked up at the massive snake coiling over the track, unable to help himself. "Just printing 'infinity' straight on the stat line, that's about as blunt as it gets."
Amano recalled the real-card version of the Serpent God's effect was supposed to become equal to the highest ATK on the field, then negate the opponent's effects and halve its own ATK.
But in the anime, it just showed up with an unreasonable, flat-out infinity.
At least Obelisk the Tormentor had to go through its own effect to get there.
"Come on, keep attacking, let me enjoy this duel even more, Amano boy!"
Whether it was because of the Serpent God's descent or not, it wasn't just her pupils that had gone reptilian; faint, scale-like patterns had also begun to surface at the corners of Celestia's deep-brown eyes.
"Like I could possibly keep attacking."
Blue-Eyes White Dragon was the only monster left on his field that hadn't attacked yet, and a measly 3000 ATK stood no chance against infinity.
"First, I activate Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon's effect!"
[Once per turn, at the end of the Damage Step of this card's battle, you can target 1 Trap Card in your Graveyard to activate this effect. Set that card in your Spell & Trap Zone.]
"I target 1 Trap Card in my Graveyard to set, then end the Battle Phase."
Throwing a finite ATK value head-on against infinite ATK would have been nothing short of suicide.
Inside Eden, infinite ATK meant a lot more than just winning the duel outright.
If he got overkilled by infinity, he'd end up owing Celestia an infinite debt. There'd be no need for a marriage contract at all at that point; he'd just become an infinitely indebted x-slave outright.
At the very least, he had to avoid that outcome.
"Time to switch modes, my Blue-Eyes!"
With the Battle Phase over and Main Phase 2 underway, Amano picked up the two cards in his D-Wheel Duel Disk's Monster Zone and stacked them together.
Blue-Eyes mode, switching to Galaxy-Eyes mode!
"I overlay the Level 8 Blue-Eyes White Dragon and Level 8 Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon on my field, building the Overlay Network!"
"Bloom with radiance from the depths of the galaxy! Xyz Summon! Rank 8! Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon!"
[Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon] [Rank 8 / LIGHT] [ATK: 3000]
This was Amano's familiar Blue-Eyes-into-Galaxy-Eyes overlay-stacking play, but just as he was about to activate Photon Dragon's Minotaurus effect, Celestia flipped up her set card first.
"Quick-Play Spell, Forbidden Lance! Lowering Divine Serpent Geh's ATK by 600, and until the end of the turn, this card cannot be targeted by effects, and cannot be destroyed by effects!"
Infinity minus 600 was still infinity. But the temporary immunity to being targeted and destroyed completely ruled out any chance of Galaxy-Eyes destroying the Serpent God.
"Manually granting immunity, huh!" In that instant, Amano felt like he'd caught sight of a blind spot.
The Serpent God looked like it had infinite ATK and DEF, but underneath that, it was a glass cannon with no innate protection whatsoever.
Looking at it from that angle, the Serpent God might actually be easier to deal with than the fully-immune Phoenix.
But since destroying the Wicked God wasn't an option right now, Amano decided to just keep chain-overlaying instead.
"I overlay Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon to Xyz Summon Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon, then overlay again to Xyz Summon Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon!"
[Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon] [DEF: 2800]
Amano stacked all the way up to the final form, Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon, Summoned in Defense Position.
Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon had a parting effect: if this card was destroyed, he could Special Summon Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon from the Graveyard. That was effectively enough to soak up two rounds of attacks; a single infinity alone couldn't punch through it.
"Now I activate Cipher Blade Dragon's effect, detaching Blue-Eyes White Dragon as Xyz Material to destroy your Continuous Trap Card, Soul Barrier!"
A flash of the blade of light sliced Celestia's defensive Trap Card to ribbons.
With that, not only was Divine Serpent Geh itself a glass cannon, so was Celestia herself, sitting at a single remaining Life Point.
Of course, Divine Serpent Geh's own effect meant that, just like Soul Relay, as long as it stayed on the field, she wouldn't lose the duel even locked at 0 LP.
"Finally, I set one card. Turn end."
It looked like he was using Galaxy-Eyes as a shield against the Serpent God, but Amano's real target this whole turn had actually been the card he'd just set.
"My turn, draw!"
Celestia - Speed Counters: 6 to 7
Amano Rei - Speed Counters: 1 to 2
"I activate Speed Spell - Angel's Scepter, drawing 2 cards, then sending the Trap Card Dark Spell Regeneration from my hand to the Graveyard!"
Celestia scanned her remaining 2 cards in hand, then immediately turned around and activated Speed World 2's own effect.
"I spend all 7 of my Speed Counters, activating the Field Spell Speed World 2's effect to draw 1 more card from my Deck!"
Celestia - Speed Counters: 7 to 0
Betting every last bit of her speed on this draw, Celestia's slender, tan fingers reached for her D-Wheel's Deck, carving a streak of holy light through the air as she drew.
"There it is!"
Celestia revealed the card she'd just drawn: Monster Reborn.
"A second Monster Reborn?" Amano recalled.
Celestia said, "Nothing to be surprised about. My Deck runs three copies of Monster Reborn. With the kind of resources a professional has access to, that's hardly difficult."
In an environment without a Forbidden/Limited list, a Deck specialized around the Winged Dragon of Ra, built to squeeze out every last drop of the Immortal Phoenix's power, running a full playset of Monster Reborn made perfect sense.
Nanami Misaki said, "But without any Speed Counters left, she can't activate a regular Spell Card this turn, can she?"
Celestia flicked a card straight up out of her Graveyard zone, banishing it. "I activate the effect of Dark Spell Regeneration, the card Angel's Scepter sent to my Graveyard this very turn!"
[Banish this card from your Graveyard, and send 1 "Monster Reborn" from your hand or among your set cards on the field to the Graveyard, to activate this effect. Special Summon 1 "Winged Dragon of Ra" from your Graveyard, ignoring its Summoning conditions. After that, you can send 1 monster your opponent controls to the Graveyard. A monster Special Summoned by this effect is sent to the Graveyard during the End Phase.]
By using the Trap Card's effect, sending Monster Reborn to the Graveyard as a cost to revive the Winged Dragon sidestepped the whole issue of needing Speed Counters in a Riding Duel.
"Twin gods descend as one! Revive, Immortal Phoenix!"
A piercing cry rang out across the sky once more, and the Winged Dragon, its golden body wrapped in phoenix flame as it revived, unleashed the sun's fire toward Amano's field.
With only 1 Life Point remaining, Celestia shouldn't have had enough to pay the 1000 LP needed to activate the Immortal Phoenix's board-clearing, immunity-ignoring effect.
But this Trap Card, Dark Spell Regeneration, came with its own built-in effect after reviving the Winged Dragon: sending one of her opponent's monsters straight to the Graveyard.
"I send Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon to the Graveyard! Undying Divine Flame!"
Divine flame burned through the galaxy, and Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade Dragon, the shield Amano had been counting on, was sent straight to the Graveyard.
Since it was sent to the Graveyard rather than destroyed, it couldn't trigger its final effect to Special Summon Photon Dragon back from the Graveyard.
"That should just about wrap this up, Amano boy! I set one card, and enter this turn's Battle Phase!"
Having swept away the last obstacle with the revived divine flame, Celestia, with the momentum of a rider charging for the finish line, led her infinite-ATK Serpent God into declaring this turn's Battle Phase.
"Direct attack the opposing player, Divine Serpent Geh!"
The enormous black serpent coiling over the Speed World track opened jaws that, by its own lore, could swallow an entire planet whole, and lunged at Amano.
"Don't worry. Even if you end up owing an infinite debt, once we're married, it just counts as shared marital assets. You won't have to pay any of it back yourself!"
"So, take this! Orichalcos Devour!"
"I've been waiting for exactly this attack!" Amano immediately flipped up his set card.
With nothing but a pure glass cannon of infinite ATK and zero protection on the other side, it meant literally any Trap Card effect would land clean.
"Trap Card, Absorbing Shield, activate!"
[Absorbing Shield] [Trap Card: When an opponent's monster declares an attack, target that attacking monster to activate this card. Negate that monster's attack, and gain Life Points equal to that monster's ATK.]
A massive shield materialized without warning above Amano's head, catching Divine Serpent Geh's abyssal jaws in place.
"I negate Divine Serpent Geh's direct attack, and gain Life Points equal to the Serpent God's ATK!"
The Serpent God's ATK value was, of course:
"I gain infinite Life Points!"
Amano Rei LP: 1250 to Infinity
A blazing, magnificent flood of life burst out and was absorbed, and the number representing Amano's Life Points climbed higher and higher in that single instant, all the way to infinity.
"It worked, that's Rei for you!" Kikawayu slapped her thigh in excitement. "With this, it's infinity against infinity, at least we don't have to worry about an overkill debt anymore!"
So this was what infinite life felt like?
In this moment, Amano felt like he could finally understand why Tenma Yako had been so delighted, back when he'd first gotten infinite Life Points of his own.
There really was a rush to it, like your very soul was boiling over into something transcendent.
"Ha ha ha ha ha! Fascinating! This duel with you is genuinely fascinating, Amano boy!"
Watching Amano absorb the Serpent God's infinite ATK right in front of her, Celestia's laughter only grew more excited.
"So then, how are you going to block the second dose of infinity?"
Then, in an instant, the golden eyes that had just been crinkled with laughter blazed with fighting spirit.
"I attack you directly with Winged Dragon of Ra!"
Attacking Amano with a Winged Dragon that had just revived at 0 ATK.
It looked like a pointless move, but the instant the Winged Dragon declared its attack, the sun's flame became the spark that detonated the Serpent God.
"Winged Dragon of Ra's effect, activate!"
[When this card declares an attack, you can Tribute any number of other monsters you control; this card's ATK increases by the combined ATK of the Tributed monsters.]
"I Tribute Divine Serpent Geh, raising the Winged Dragon's ATK to infinity!"
[Divine Serpent Geh, Tributed]
[Winged Dragon of Ra] [ATK: 0 to Infinity]
"Divine will made one, Ultimate Phoenix: Infinity!"
In that instant, the Winged Dragon, having detonated and absorbed the Serpent God's infinite ATK, looked as though it had truly become the sun itself, capable of replacing the artificial sun in Eden's man-made sky.
"This is a fully-immune, infinite-ATK strike. Can you actually block this too, Amano boy?!"
Unlike the glass cannon from before, this time full immunity came from the Immortal Phoenix and infinite ATK from the Serpent God. Celestia's strongest Phantom God, obeying her command, plummeted from the sky as though its blazing body might punch straight through the entire tower of Eden.
"Then let's find out, true sun!"
Amano thrust an arm toward the infinite Winged Dragon plunging down at him from the sky.
"The effect of Winged Kuriboh in my Graveyard, activate!"
"Since when?" Nanki'in Sakuya gasped.
"That was the card discarded for Different Dimension Reincarnation!" Finesse recalled.
[Winged Kuriboh] [When an opponent's monster declares a direct attack: You can banish this card from your Graveyard to activate this effect. Draw 1 card. If that card is a monster, you can Special Summon it. After that, if the opponent's monster can attack, it must attack that monster.]
In a situation like this, as long as Amano could draw a single monster and Special Summon it in Defense Position, that alone would be enough to block the Winged Dragon's infinite-ATK strike.
And once the turn ended, the infinite-ATK Winged Dragon would be sent to the Graveyard, leaving Amano with infinite Life Points crushing Celestia's single remaining point.
But with the mood built up to this point, there was no way Amano was satisfied just drawing some random chump blocker and calling it a day.
The opponent's sun had come crashing down in its strongest possible form. How could his own sun possibly hold back?!
"Hot, hot, hot!" Shio hurriedly yanked at the cord of the pendant around her neck, pulling the gemstone away from her body.
The pendant had gotten hot before, but this was the first time it had ever gotten hot enough to make Shio yelp uncontrollably.
From a sea-blue gemstone, it seethed and heated until it slowly turned crimson red, its transparent facets seeming to reflect and absorb the heat of the infinite-ATK sun out on the battlefield.
"Draw!"
The instant Amano drew his card, a second black sun tore up out of the Riding Duel track, colliding head-on with the falling Winged Dragon in the sky.
"Special Summon in Attack Position! Wicked Avatar!"
"A black sun!" Celestia's golden eyes trembled violently.
Two suns, the true sun and the pitch-black sun, collided head-on. The instant the Wicked Avatar arrived, it mimicked the burning shape of a jet-black phoenix, its ATK immediately rocketing to the highest on the field plus 1.
[Wicked Avatar] [ATK: Infinity+1]
Infinity battling infinity plus 1: because of the Wicked Avatar's permanent, constant +1 effect, Celestia's remaining Life Points were, appropriately, exactly 1.
Celestia LP: 1
To avoid being destroyed by rule under the Immortal Phoenix's own effect, the black sun had held back until the most critical possible moment, cornering the true sun with a single strike.
"Set Trap Card, activate!" Celestia flipped up the card she'd only just set right before the Battle Phase began.
"A Trap Card set this very turn, activated this same turn?" Rin Seiya raised a hand indignantly. "Hey, hey, ref, somebody's cheating!"
If it really had been an illegal move, Eva's Duel Disk simply wouldn't have allowed it to happen.
"Continuous Trap Card, Sun God Unification!"
[Sun God Unification] [If you control a monster whose original name is "Winged Dragon of Ra," this card can be activated the same turn it was set. (2): Once per turn, you can activate this effect by Tributing 1 "Winged Dragon of Ra" you control: Gain Life Points equal to that monster's ATK.]
An exclusive Trap Card that could be activated the same turn it was set, as long as a Winged Dragon existed on the field.
"I Tribute Winged Dragon of Ra on my field to activate this, gaining Life Points equal to the Winged Dragon's ATK!"
The infinite flame dispersed in the instant before contact, pouring entirely back into Celestia's dark, sultry frame.
Celestia LP: 1 to Infinity
With both sides now sitting at infinite Life Points, this war of gods had gone well beyond any ordinary person's understanding of what a Riding Duel could even be.
Fueled by the sheer energy of infinite Life Points, the two D-Wheels racing side by side down the track had grown too fast for the naked eye to follow, on the verge of physically outrunning the crowd's own vision entirely.
"Summoning the black sun at the most critical possible moment. I'll admit, you're impressive, Amano boy!"
Over the course of this battle, both sides had Summoned two gods each, and now only the Wicked God remained standing on the field.
"But with only the Wicked God on the field, this card's ATK is just 1. It can't put out any real power at all. And there's absolutely no way it's breaking through my infinite Life Points either!"
Having stretched this Riding Duel out with infinite Life Points, all Celestia needed to do now was wait, wait for the third copy of Monster Reborn in her Deck, revive the Immortal Phoenix, and destroy Wicked Avatar by rule, ignoring its immunity entirely.
"I'm still the one who's going to win this in the end! I set my last card in hand. Turn end!"
"My turn, draw!"
With the turn passing over, Amano drew his card.
Amano Rei - Speed Counters: 2 to 3
Celestia - Speed Counters: 0 to 1
Amano currently had 3 cards left in hand. Three cards, sure, but among the pile he'd drawn all at once off Revival of the Sky God, 2 of them had gone completely unused so far.
Dark Magician and Guardian Knight, two cards deeply tied to the Pharaoh, had just been sitting dead in Amano's hand this whole time.
Which really said something about how the old king managed to never brick, honestly.
But this turn's draw finally gave those two cards room to shine.
"Betting my entire hand and every ounce of speed, in exchange for the future! I spend 2 Speed Counters to activate the Spell Card Magical Stone Excavation!"
Amano Rei - Speed Counters: 3 to 1
[Magical Stone Excavation] [Spell Card: Discard 2 cards, then target 1 Spell Card in your Graveyard to activate this card. Add that card to your hand.]
"I discard 2 cards, retrieving the Spell Card Monster Reborn from my Graveyard!"
Celestia, who'd thought victory was already in the bag, never expected Amano to get his hands on a Monster Reborn even before she did.
"But you don't have enough Speed Counters left, Amano boy!"
Sure enough, Amano had only 1 Speed Counter left now, not enough to activate another regular Spell Card.
Even having gotten his hands on Monster Reborn, the earliest Amano could possibly use it was next turn, which meant she still had one more draw of her own coming.
"Ha ha ha ha, you're still forgetting one card, Celestia!"
On a Riding Duel track racing at full speed, whoever had the greater speed was the one who got to seize the initiative.
"Which means, I've already won!"
Amano flipped up the set card beside his D-Wheel: the very card Blue-Eyes Tyrant Dragon's effect had set back down from the Graveyard into his back row, and it turned out to be the key card that decided the whole match.
"Trap Card, High-Speed Incantation, activate!"
By High-Speed Incantation's effect, discarding a regular Spell Card from his hand and copying its activation, he could use a Spell Card in a Riding Duel without spending a single Speed Counter.
"High-Speed Incantation: Monster Reborn!"
In this moment, Amano completely pulled away from Celestia, leaving her in the dust.
A flame symbolizing a god's final moment gathered above Amano's head.
This final Monster Reborn wasn't reviving one of Amano's own monsters. It was targeting Celestia's Graveyard instead.
"I'm reviving Winged Dragon of Ra from your Graveyard!"
"Descend, Camino!"
Celestia's golden eyes went wide, staring unblinking up at the sky. "T-two suns!"
Above Amano's racing D-Wheel, the true golden sun and the pitch-black sun hung suspended side by side.
"Winged Dragon of Ra's effect, activate!"
"Amano boy, you can actually control the Sun God too?"
By all rights, even a holder of the Millennium Items should still need to chant the sacred incantation to control the Sun God.
But the Sun God Amano had just revived acted as though its own seal had simply come undone, activating its effect without any of that at all.
This was already beyond what a mere Millennium Item holder should have been capable of.
[During your Main Phase or your opponent's, you can activate this effect by paying your Life Points down to 1. This card's ATK/DEF increases by the amount paid.]
"Bind my soul to the Winged Dragon!"
Amano's D-Wheel, racing at full speed, was bathed instantly in the divine flame of the soul-bond.
"I pay my infinite Life Points, raising the Winged Dragon's ATK to infinity!"
Amano Rei LP: Infinity to 1
[Winged Dragon of Ra] [ATK: 0 to Infinity]
"And then, Wicked Avatar's ATK rises to infinity plus 1!"
[Wicked Avatar] [ATK: Infinity+1]
From 1 to infinity, and then passing that infinity on to infinity plus 1.
Infinity, something that should have appeared maybe once in centuries of duels across Eden, was surging up over and over in this Riding Duel between gods, like it cost nothing at all.
"W-what kind of duel even is this?"
"Is this really something I only paid 2000 for a ticket to watch?"
"Two suns! They've both turned into phoenixes!"
"Incredible!"
At the final stage of Amano's ride against a god, the Immortal Phoenix blazing with raging golden flame stood alongside the Wicked Phoenix wreathed in pitch-black wicked fire.
The two monsters' ATK stood, respectively, at infinity and beyond infinity.
"Winged Dragon of Ra, direct attack!"
Amano, racing at full speed, his D-Wheel and body wreathed in twin divine flames of intertwined black and gold, hurled both speed and fire together at Celestia, standing on an empty field.
"Divine Might Blazing Cannon!"
"Set card, activate!" Celestia flipped up her set card, unwilling to give in. "Trap Card, Damage Barrier! Negate this instance of battle damage from the Winged Dragon, and I draw 1 more card!"
Even drawing one more card, Celestia already knew she'd lost.
But she just wanted to see what the next card would be.
In this final moment, Celestia's draw seemed to announce, all on its own, that this Riding Duel had finally accelerated to its conclusion.
Monster Reborn.
Just one turn short!
If Amano hadn't High-Speed Incantation'd Monster Reborn this exact turn, next turn would have been her win!
Amano had seized victory in this Riding Duel by a margin of exactly one turn.
"So then, how are you going to block the second dose of infinity?!"
What a familiar line.
"That's my line!" Celestia's golden eyes reflected the pitch-black sun's divine flame drawing closer and closer overhead.
"Wicked Avatar, attack!"
"Ultimate Divine Might Blazing Cannon!"
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
The Wicked God's beyond-infinite direct attack detonated against Celestia's D-Wheel, flipping her and the entire vehicle over in one blast.
Celestia LP: Infinity to 0 (...)
[Duel Over]
[Winner]
[Amano Rei]
"Another finale ending in a Wicked God copy of two gods at once, huh." Having watched the duel to its end, Kaiba Chiaki finally let out a breath of relief, though something clearly still weighed on her mind.
In these two duels of Amano's, he'd used the Wicked God to copy infinite-ATK Obelisk the Tormentor once, and infinite-ATK Winged Dragon of Ra now, both times ending up with two gods coexisting on his own field.
It almost felt like Amano was using his own Wicked God's power to keep recording the forms of every other god he faced, one after another.
"C-cracked?" Shio stared in disbelief at the sealing gemstone in her hand, now heated to a deep red. A visible crack had appeared on the gem's surface after this very duel.
"Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!"
Having flipped, Celestia tumbled dozens of times across the track before finally coming to a stop.
If it hadn't been for a professional duelist's exceptional physical conditioning, on top of the built-in cushioning in both Riding Duel suits and the track surface itself, an infinite-force impact like that would surely have left her seriously hurt.
Physical injury might have been avoided as much as possible, but as Celestia's golden eyes watched her own Life Points keep falling, an unprecedented fear welled up inside her.
"W-what is this?"
Her infinite Life Points, even after hitting zero, still weren't done falling.
Wasn't the Wicked God's ATK supposed to be infinity plus 1?
That should have left her bottoming out at -1 Life Points at most.
"Stop, stop taking away more!" Celestia's fear abruptly gave way to despair.
A value forever exactly 1 higher than infinity: beyond infinity. Within the mainframe Eva's own calculation formula, that wasn't nearly as simple as just "one more point."
Just like back when the Pharaoh had beaten the Orichalcos Serpent God's own unit of infinity: layered infinity.
Celestia watched helplessly as the number representing her own Life Points finally bottomed out at LP: -Infinity
