Thalia's POV
No words have been spoken since I woke up.
Even with Alpha Kade and I sleeping in the same room, but not on the same bed, I didn't feel anything being off.
In fact, for the first time since I came to this pack, I felt....safe.
I don't know how to explain it, but that's just how it is.
He's been respectful and hasn't broken the silence.
Looking at the clock on the wall, it's already half past seven.
He said that the funeral starts at nine. And since I know Agatha, didn't have any friends or family except for me, it'll just be the two of us.
Kade walks up to me and hands me a package before leaving the room without a word.
Something tells me to open it, while my instinct tells me that I would rather do it once the funeral is over.
So, I go and take a shower, and look at the few clothes that I have.
I want to find something that I can wear that is at least presentable, and respectable to the occasion.
