Chapter 162 - Human Beings Cannot Survive Alone

With the small, sounds, a strange feeling quietly arose.

Squeezing, contracting, entwining, twisting.

The already nervous girl suddenly reacted at that moment.

— She straightened her back.

Her already flushed cheeks and her habitually slightly curved waist made her look like a cooked shrimp. Her bent body suddenly tensed up, and even her small hands gripping the hem of her clothes straightened slightly.

Airi Sakura: "Eeep?!"

The clothes she was gripping tore slightly. Flustered, she quickly let go of her hands and was about to get up when Toru Asakusa, who was doing "bad things" in front of her, raised his head and said to her:

"Mommy, you're so tense here."

He spoke as if it were the most ordinary thing, but what he was doing was anything but ordinary.

"Mommy, you're so tense here too."

His right hand moved downward, while his left hand was not idle either. Under the gaze of the brain-frozen Airi Sakura, it silently moved upward.

Seeing that she didn't seem to react, the disobedient "bad child" began to take advantage and say even more outrageous things.

"Mommy, cuddle."

"Mommy, press."

"Mommy, hug."

"Mommy, mommy, mommy—"

As his words echoed, something hot, scalding, as if about to burn, pressed against her skin.

And so, in a daze, her head spinning, with the help of another slender little hand that reached out from somewhere unknown, Airi Sakura raised her hand and stopped that sharp edge.

Blades rose on all sides; she caught the white blade with bare hands!

"..."

This sharp edge was, slightly, just a little bit, hot to the touch.

Hold, release, carefully, gently stroke the blade.

Would her fingertips be cut? Perhaps.

Would blood drip down? Probably.

Would curiosity prompt the timid, shrinking Airi Sakura to take the active role?

No, it would not.

But the hand of Kikyo Kushida, hiding in the blind spot, would.

She used her hand to catch the white blade.

She used her hand to hook around her neck.

She pulled off the ties on her body, then spread her thighs.

However, the moment of daze and confusion would eventually end; consciousness would eventually return to Airi Sakura's brain.

When she realized what excessively outrageous thing she was doing, she would curl up.

Common sense would drive instinct.

There would be no struggle or resistance, but she would want to run away.

Run away, hide away, curl up.

Until she realized there was no way out.

Or… until someone stopped moving and softly, gently whispered in her ear that phrase that would make her let down her guard again…

"Mommy."

...

The prelude was dazed, the middle movement was tense, and the final movement was gentle.

To be honest, for Airi Sakura, it felt as if she had stepped into a wonderland.

Gorgeous new clothes were quietly put on her body. The aloof prince bent down and called her mother. A dreamlike scent invaded her whole body.

So, she wet the pillow. Her body and consciousness fell into an extreme antinomy.

She wanted to be possessed. This was a rare opportunity, the only chance in her life. If she remained the same Airi Sakura as before, she would never experience such a feeling in her entire life.

She wanted to run away, wanted to roll up the bedsheet, wanted to bury her head, wanted to block her ears, and return to her own little world. Such rebellious acts between a mother and son would never be tolerated. Society's morality and public opinion would crush her.

But, however, nevertheless.

Suddenly, the girl briefly woke up and remembered one thing.

She wasn't actually his mother.

The dowdy, timid, shrinking, no-one-would-like Airi Sakura was never qualified to be Toru Asakusa's mother.

So, let it be.

Let her achieve that fleeting light under a brief splendor.

Become a mother who deeply loves and will satisfy all his demands.

"..."

"..."

"..."

What the hell was I thinking just now? Aaaaaaah—

Airi Sakura had woken up.

All traces in the dormitory had already been cleaned up by the two experienced individuals. Although some lingering scents remained in the room, with the window slightly open now, the gradually night-time wind brought a hint of coolness into the room while sweeping away the smells.

The sultry heat of the summer afternoon turned into a slightly cool feeling at nightfall. Airi Sakura turned her head to look at the already darkening light outside the window, feeling somewhat lost.

Have I… become an adult?

She didn't know.

She might have become an adult, or she might have become a mother, or, well, she might have just been tricked.

Although Airi Sakura's judgment was poor, no matter how poor it was, no matter how dizzy her head was, when Kikyo Kushida's hands started grabbing hers to do things they shouldn't do, she realized she might have been… deceived.

The lack of maternal love was a lie.

Playing the mother was a lie.

Deleting the photos… Ah, the photos hadn't been deleted yet.

But now, deleting the photos or not probably didn't matter anymore.

Even though she had been tricked into doing many things that she would normally find extremely outrageous, when those whispers echoed in her ears again and again, Airi Sakura couldn't muster any complaints.

She just thought, if, if not by this method…

Would she have had the chance to bring their relationship this close?

"..."

The answer was no.

A bottom-feeding, gloomy, dowdy woman could never become friends with these two people who stood in the light, let alone develop a relationship where they could lie on the same bed.

For that very reason, to be honest, as night fell, it was actually her who began to take a little initiative, who became less dependent on Kikyo Kushida's guidance.

It was her.

Airi Sakura already had the answer in her heart.

That was why she was now staring out the window.

"Hmm…"

Does that mean I now have kindred spirits?

Or is it that even without kindred spirits, it's fine? As long as bodies touch, the thoughts in one's heart can naturally be understood?

Airi Sakura didn't really understand.

But she felt that this feeling, seemed, not bad.

"Mommy wants a hug."

Especially the feeling of being able to ask for a hug just by opening her arms made the girl feel as if she was possessing the other person.

But even if it was an illusion, it didn't matter.

Even an illusion was fine.

This way, perhaps she would no longer feel lonely.

Human beings cannot survive alone.

Even today, Airi Sakura still firmly believed that.

...

The mother-son game was over.

This role-playing game, which started from a chance encounter, was initiated by Kikyo Kushida's whim, went along with by Airi Sakura's inexplicable compliance, and participated in by him, Toru Asakusa, ended here.

Although nothing had been explicitly said or clarified.

But from the moment Airi Sakura opened her arms, called herself "Mommy," and asked for a hug, he knew it was enough.

…It was a bit strange.

But from today on, it seemed he had gained another "good friend."

Well, rather, a "good mommy."

…How come I don't have a single proper girlfriend, only mommies?

Time for self-reflection.

However, without using a hypnosis app, he still enjoyed the same effect, experiencing in advance the feeling of being able to act spoiled to his heart's content. It was unexpectedly nice.

It was hard to say whether his Mommy Kikyo really had some potential in this regard, or whether Mommy Sakura was just too easy to fool.

But the first part could be called deception, yet toward the end, it was hard to say who was really fooling whom.

Perhaps sometimes the girl who seems to be the prey is actually a hunter disguised as prey.

Probably because she had been压抑 for too long. The more gloomy a girl is, the more压抑 she tends to be.

After all, lacking communication with others, lacking contact with the outside world, unable to speak her mind, suppressing her emotions, hiding in her own corner…

It's hard not to be压抑.

Just like Kikyo Kushida. After putting on a mask, no one knows the thoughts in her heart. Without someone to confide in, she becomes particularly压抑.

So, in a sense, the one truly lacking love wasn't him, but Airi Sakura, who was playing the role of "Mommy."

Otherwise, no matter how brilliant Kikyo Kushida's rhetoric was, when Toru Asakusa's hand touched a place it shouldn't, Airi Sakura would have started thrashing.

It was because she lacked love that she accepted the "Mommy" persona and chose to deceive herself at that moment.

Because she really needed such a child full of "love."

Well, even if this child seemed to have some ulterior motives.

But that's okay. This somewhat "tainted" love was real.

That was enough.

"Click…" A sound came from the door. Kikyo Kushida, who had gone out with the key card, returned and took off her outdoor shoes again.

"Swoosh…"

Pouring out the kettle, pressing her fingertip against the cup to feel the water temperature, Kikyo Kushida held the cup in one hand and handed the "medicine" she had brought back to Airi Sakura with the other.

"Just this once. Next time, don't forget to prepare some umbrellas in the dormitory," she said.

"…" Stunned for a moment, Airi Sakura took the cup and medicine with both hands: "Th-thank you…"

Gulp, gulp — she swallowed the medicine. Warm water went into her stomach. Soon, a sound that made her blush a little was heard.

"Gurgle…"

It was borborygmus.

She was hungry.

After exercise, hunger sets in faster than expected.

She had consumed a lot of energy and mental strength. As soon as she came to, her stomach started growling.

Hearing this sound, Kikyo Kushida couldn't help but smile. But that smile hadn't lasted two minutes before she saw Toru Asakusa sitting to the side, propping his head up with one hand and looking at her. She put away her smile.

"Shoo." Kikyo Kushida waved her hand at Toru Asakusa. "Don't just sit there staring. Go fix dinner for your Mommy Sakura and Mommy Kikyo."

"Such a child who can't read the room."

Seeing her reaction, Toru Asakusa knew she wanted to whisper something privately to Sakura, so she was sending him away.

He didn't mind. After all, girls always have their own little secrets.

Besides…

The voice recorder was still on. If he really wanted to snoop, he could copy a transcript and listen slowly before coming back.

Of course, he didn't think that was necessary.

"Okay, let me know if there's anything you can't eat," he shrugged, got up, and walked to the entrance.

With the sound of the door opening and closing, his figure disappeared from the dormitory.

"Kushida-san…" Hearing Toru Asakusa leave, Airi Sakura softly called out the name of Kikyo Kushida beside her.

But even though she said that, she wasn't sure what she should say.

Ask her why she lied?

But that didn't really matter anymore.

She wasn't the type to be extremely concerned about lies or truth.

Ask her what kind of relationship she had with Asakusa-kun?

If there was no room for her to step in… No, she was the latecomer, the latecomer that Kikyo Kushida had actively brought in.

So that question didn't need to be answered either.

Then, what could she say?

Words of thanks? Feelings in her heart? Or…

"Just call me Kikyo," Kikyo Kushida naturally sat on the edge of the bed, raised her hand to tidy Airi's messy hair: "How do you feel?"

She took the initiative and asked about Airi's feelings.

But the question was too direct.

Feelings or something…

What was she supposed to answer?

The feeling of being held? Or the feeling of being called Mommy? Or the feeling of being touched? Or…

"Ooh…" She hung her head, lowered her eyebrows, and answered truthfully: "I, I don't know…"

That was the only answer she could give.

"Ah, but I, I probably don't dislike it," perhaps afraid that Kikyo Kushida might misunderstand, she quickly added this sentence.

"Hmm… I see." Airi's hair was neatly arranged, her pink long hair parted to both sides, revealing her pretty face. Kikyo Kushida looked at that beautiful face, put down her hands, and gently swung her legs back and forth.

"Then let it be," she said.

Let it be.

She accepts, I accept, Toru Asakusa accepts.

Maintaining this is enough.

Ah, after actually doing it, I kind of regret it a little.

With one more person, it seems there are more things to worry about.

Even though Airi Sakura is a little doormat, should I relax and show my true nature in front of her, or continue to play the little angel?

That's also a question.

I really shouldn't have gotten carried away and pushed Toru Asakusa into doing this.

That guy is sturdy, but I wonder if he can handle two people.

After all, that little doormat looks like the type who's been压抑 for a long time.

If Toru Asakusa were any weaker, he'd probably be eaten clean by her natural gifts.

So, if anything, it's hard to say who really got the short end of the stick.

"Ah—" Shouting out loud, Kikyo Kushida flopped down onto the bed, her eyes staring at the pure white ceiling, her body relaxing.

Suddenly, she directly called out Airi Sakura's name:

"Airi."

"I sincerely hope you won't regret this," she said.

Airi Sakura: "…"

Yeah, I won't regret it.

Airi Sakura, who cannot survive alone, will not regret becoming a social animal.
